Great sound, great price

Great headphones for the price. I use them with my Xbox one, but I bought the ones branded for the PS4 because I liked the blue color better than the green or red, plus they were a few dollars cheaper. They all work exactly the same, the different colors are just marketing. As for the sound, I was very impressed for a $30 pair of headphones. Bass, mids, and highs are very well balanced in my opinion and none of them sound muffled or muddy. Admittedly, I'm an amateur when it comes to gaming headsets, but I can be pretty picky about tech in general, and I'm quite content. This headset is also surprisingly comfortable, although I could see it being a little tight if you have a larger head. I have an average sized head and I can wear these for hours with no discomfort. The inline volume control works perfectly and they get decently loud. I usually don't have them turned all the way up. I was told the mic sounds clear when I tested it out; however, I bought these to use primarily as headphones for gaming because neither my boyfriend or I play online frequently, but we have roommates that wouldn't appreciate us blasting the volume on our tv at night. I keep the mic detached most of the time so that it doesn't get beat up when we're not using it, which is a nice feature. I plan to be extra careful with the mic because I read it can break easily. Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality of this gaming headset compared to similarly priced items. I'm hoping these hold up well, but it seems like they will if you're not overly rough with them. Edit: These are not noise cancelling, but the way the ear cups fit me actually block out a lot of ambient noise as is. With any sound coming through them, you won't hear much besides your game.

Definitely worth the price. There are some things that could be changed though

Overall, these are nice and are worth the price. However the biggest drawback for me(strictly opinion) is the sensitivity of the mic. Pros: -The headphones are very comfortable to wear and the ear cushion are nice and feel like they have good build quality. -The headphones are adjustable in many places so that you have a perfect fit and they don’t feel awkward. -The control panel (or whatever that thingy is, where you adjust the volume and stuff) isn’t bulky and clumbersome. -The mic is removable which is great if sometimes I just want to listen to music. I can. And there volume, treble and bass, is great. CONS: -The microphone is really sensitive. This is one of my cons however, other people can like microphones to be like this. When I play I solve it by keeping the mic far away from me but still then you can hear background noises in my 7-people household easily. -There could be better noise cancellation. The ear cushions don’t offer much noise cancellation and I will sometime hear something outside the game goin on in my house, and think it’s in-game. This is made up for because the volume is plenty loud and not everyone lives in a menagerie like me. Overall these are great and the only drawbacks are opinionated or circumstantial. Although the noise cancellation could be a lot better, other than that everything is fine, especially for the price. And that’s why I’m giving it 5 stars. Very good affordable headphones

These headphones are very good if you are a casual/hardcore gamer that doesn't have a lot in their wallet. These headphones have a lot of pros few cons. Pros:Clear audio, Very comfortable as advertised, customizable volume, off or on button for mic, you can use for gaming or just watching a movie, you can also use these headphones for most phones,very long lasting (have used these headphones for more than 6 months now and they are as good as new),and my favorite thing about these headphones is that they are VERY durable. Little sibling twisted it? No problem! Dropped it? No problem! Threw it? No problem! These headphones can be a very easy fix if broke, warranty not really needed greatly. Cons are: Very few times for me I feel the plastic top of the headphones hurting my head when I play for long periods a little bit despite the headrest. Another con is if you have a big head these will not work very well for you. I am personally started in my teenage years and have to use the max suspension for the headphones to fit my head, and my head is below average to average size for my age. Overall if these Cons do not matter to you much, these are an excellent choice! If they do matter to you a little bit, I reccomend you try it out and if it does not work for you I believe there is a return policy for these headphones. The go to headphones for Xbox one

These headphones seem like the go to headphones for Xbox one players because now a days every one I run across online has these. The sound quality is great for $30, the mic quality is great and can pick up the sound around you if you don't turn your mic settings down in the Xbox menu. I bought the black headphones sometime last year at Walmart and they still work. Just wanted white to match my white controller. I recommend this to any gamer who doesn't want to spend big money but want better quality headphones.

Oustanding, Affordable, and Totally Worth It

Overall, the headset is outstanding. As a gamer, I look for the best headset and a low price, and this is it. It provides a very dynamic sound, which allows me to hear where my enemy is approaching from. My teammates can hear my call-outs very clearly and with ease. The downside of the headset is that it tends to get uncomfortable at the top due to it only being slightly padded, but when you're in the zone, you forget all about it. It covers my ears completely and drains out any background noise. It's controls are very simple: on/off switch for your voice, and a volume control to control the output to your ears. You can also use it as regular headphones by just detaching the microphone! These are the best affordable pair of headsets you will ever need for an serious gamer coming on to the competitive scene.

Excellent value!!!

Best bang for the buck here! It took me awhile to realize that you have to adjust the volume in the Xbox settings menu first, but after that, I actually have to keep them turned down! Granted there isn't any real depth to the bass, it's very affordable and my squad and I can communicate perfectly and clearly with the game sound still loud and clear. Definitely recommend this product.

How to fix the volume situation on the headphones

The headphones are really one of the best headphones that are under $50 that I have seen. When I first got them the sound was a little low and I found change the game chat volume and game volume. I have the Xbox one and I went into settings and then to headphones. It allowed me to change the volume and game chat volume. I was really glad that I got them because they were then so much louder and comfortable. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a cheap and good sounding headphone.

Very clear

I use these headphones almost daily for playing Battlefield 1 and Overwatch. The sound is very clear so it's easy to hear light footsteps of players who are trying to sneak up. I haven't had any issues so far these headphones. I definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a new, inexpensive headset. You will not regret the purchase!

EXCEEDED my expectations

WOW, what a tremendous difference when compared to the $80+ Xbox branded headset. These are WAY better both audio and physical quality, and you DO NOT need an audio adapter but I personally prefer to use the chat pad with it and it’ll work the same. Standard 3.5mm plug. Just plug it in the controller and go. All audio/party chat will switch to the headset automatically unless you’ve gone in your console and changed the settings and you may still need to on your tv depending on what kind it is. Some smart TVs (like Samsung) will have to be changed to audio out instead of tv speakers. And best of all, unlike the Xbox brand headphones, is that these WILL NOT leave you playing the guessing game with the volume between the game and party chat. Between the headphones chat pad and console you’ll have 3 different ways to adjust the volume all of which do the same thing. It’s got an easily accessible mute switch on the headset cord and volume adjustment. But the easiest is the audio adjustment is in the Xbox one guide. The mic part is removable, the audio is like a being in a movie theater and you can change how sensitive the microphone is too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDED!!! I wish I didint waste my money two years ago and bought the Xbox branded headset, these are more affordable too.
