After reading the online reviews it was clear to me some people where using a different size binocular than what this was intended for. This made it really confusing to figure out if things would fit correctly. So for this review rest assured this is on a Canon 18 x 50 which can be found here. https://www.amazon.com/Canon-Stabilization-All-Weather-Binoculars-Batteries/dp/B00004THDE As you can see in the photos I have UV haze filters with hard snap on covers on the front end and soft caps over the eye pieces. I found that if you insert the eye pieces in the case first then gently push down on the front of the binoculars it pops right in. The eyepiece covers help to stop the soft rubber around them from folding up or over. The OEM neck strap was rolled up and place between the eyepieces were they do not interfere with closing the case. There is even room for spare batteries and wipes if you should need them. When you go to close the case it will stop before closing all the way with a 1/4" gap. Just run the zipper around to close the rest of the way. The stock photo looks gray in color but it is black. The case also comes with a neck strap that clips onto the sides for easy removal. This case actually offers some protection unlike the one that came with the bin binoculars.
