• The SIM card is valid for 30 days from the date of activation. Last activation date of the card is 30/09/2019.
  • 3-in-1 SIM Card (Nano/Micro/Standard). Works for unlocked cell phone only.
  • Facebook, Twitter, Google, WhatsApp, Line are available in China via using this SIM card.
  • It provides 4G network mobile data service in Greater China (Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan) – 30 days unlimited data usage
  • Once your data usage in Greater China reaches 3GB “Fair Usage level”, the upload/download speed would be reduced and restricted (but not below 128kbps) and tethering and Peer-to-Peer services would not be available

I inserted the sim chip into my unlocked iPhone 5. Initially when I turned it on it did not start, but once I got into the airport and connected to the free Wi-Fi, the phone automatically set itself up and connected. Had great connection at Shanghai Disneyland and in the city. When I changed location to Hong Kong, no problem connecting there. I highly recommend this chip.

Purchased it for daughter's Shanghai, Taipei trip. Activated with no issue after landing at Shanghai. Worked smoothly all 10 days during two cities trip. 3GB high speed data was more than enough.

This is the first sim card I used to travel internationally. Used it while I was in Shanghai. Worked perfectly and it was easy to install. Just insert the sim card once you're in China, and follow the instructions on the card. Very happy with this purchase

This card worked perfectly in Shanghai, Suzhou, Beijing, and even on the Great Wall on my Verizon iPhone. Had to refill it twice (3 week trip and whole family using it) which was easy one I figured out how to get the Unicom site in English. Contrary to another review, my US credit card worked just fine to reload data. Also, read carefully...this will not allow phone calls, it is for data (internet) use only. And yes, it gets around the firewall in China. No blocked websites. I posted to Facebook, Instgram, etc. and most importantly, had google and apple maps everywhere! Also, used my phone with the card as a hotspot for my family, no problem, which is why we had to reload and pay for more data. No issues at all and would highly recommend to anyone traveling to China.

Worked flawlessly from Beijing to Macau, Hong Kong to Taipei, and provided enough data to accommodate comfortable usage for maps, emails, social media, and web browsing for almost two weeks without a refill. The instructions for setting the network on my Android phone were simple. Note that you do have to download the instructions before you get there, since they aren't included in English. Without them the card won't work.

This card is perfect match for my trip. - I was traveling to Shanghai > Macau > Zhuhai > Guangzhou > Hong Kong in 2 weeks. Because mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau are 3 different mobile network carriers, I used to have to use 3 different cards for a similar trip. But this card would allow me to have Internet access on all places without the need of a 2nd card. Some Tips if you plan to buy this card: 1. This card works on unlocked ATT and T-mobile phones. If you have a Verizon/Sprint phone, it may not work. 2. This card is only for network access, it does not have a phone number. You need to use Skype or Wechat Out to make phone calls. 3. It is 3G, but it could be faster than the US 4G speed. I used Speedtest in HK airport, and I got 9.79Mbps download speed. My T-mobile 4G download speed is normally at around 8Mbps near my home. (Screenshot I took in HK airport using this card's network.) 4. The network is not perfectly stable when I am traveling in car or train. I often got disconnected when traveling in cars or trains. 5. It is expensive. If you are not going to Macau or Taiwan, there are other China Unicom card that you can buy with either lower price or more data. 6. I can access Google and Facebook in mainland China with this card. (I won't be able to access to Google/Facebook in mainland China with wifi in mainland.) On the day I return to US after my 2 weeks trip, my phone showed that I spent 0.81GB of data for the last 2 weeks. 1GB is enough, but it had tried to use wifi as much as possible during the trip.

I used this for 2 weeks trip to China (Beijing, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shanghai, Hongkong, Macau). Worked perfectly everywhere I went. Sometimes I need to restart my phone to get signal ( only when going between HK and China). FB google gmail, instagram worked perfectly. I used it heavily, even upload to instagram on a daily basic and my data ran out on my last day in China, after 3GB it just slow down, but enough for GPS. Although Google map worked with this sim, I did not use it, I use Amap, and google translate for direction instead, since google map was not accurate in China.

My wife and I used these SIM Cards on a recent trip to Hong Kong and into the mainland China cities of Guangzhou and Shenzhen. We had great service in all three cities, including indoors in large to tall buildings. We have Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy S7 phones purchased from Verizon. We had no issues accessing Google Mail (GMail), Google Maps, Facebook or any other apps or services which can be blocked by the "Great Firewall" in mainland China. We installed the SIM cards while on the plane, carefully followed the setup instructions included (which was not too difficult) and had full access to the services we needed on our trip. Note, texting or calling does not work with these SIM cards so make sure you have backup methods for those services if you normally use them. When traveling in China again, I would definitely use these as an alternative to the higher costs of roaming on Verizon.

This product worked great in several areas of China that we visited including Xi'an, Hangzhou, Shanghai, and even Zhujiajiao. In response to those with trouble installing, if you follow the directions exactly, it worked for me. The first attempt was not successful because I turned on "roaming" before changing the APN. Also - be sure to put the sim card in slot 1, if you have a dual sim phone. It may depend upon the equipment you are using, but I was using Android on a newer phone with both GSM and CDMA options. The speed was always great and I had no trouble accessing Google, including maps, so long as I was not connected to wifi at the hotel or otherwise. Once wifi was connected, these services were blocked again. Using the phone as a hotspot was also not a problem and allowed the connected devices to access Google, etc. I had plenty of data remaining at the end of the trip, but did not feel the need to stream any video or music, as the sights and sounds of our locations kept us busy and entertained. If you only need data and not sms or phone services, this is a perfect choice.

I bought two of these. The one I put in my Wifes iphone started working immediately, the APN settings changed automatically. On my Android it was more complicated. I entered the APN settings and it didn't seem to work. I realized later there is a save option in the top right menu to save the APN settings, rather than hitting the back arrow. Once I figured that out, it worked on my Android phone as well. Everything has worked great since! It is important to have this because without it, Google maps other Google products and do not work on Wi-Fi here. (Apparently Google if the only company that refuses to let China control your data) with this sim card Google works great. As other user says, *118*50# is how to check data balance. update- recharging was very difficult. I couldn't get it to work on laptop, could only do it on mobile website (in chinese) by having browser translate, then clicking on "top off" But the website ONLY accepts Visa. And my "Verified by Visa" required me to receive a text message, which of course I can't receive while in China. Regular Skype and Google voice are blocked (thank you communists) , so I had to find a chinese version on web.skype.com on my laptop, call 877-388-6581 (BofA's number) wait on hold ask them to turn off the SMS verification. Once they did that, it worked. My 3gb data lasted me 6 days, and I needed 7. I use heavily though, youtube, maps, etc. Just make sure your mobile verification for your bank and credit cards is turned off before you go overseans
