Fit was spot on. Very easy to get measurements and order according to size chart on website (for bigger guys). My only real complaint is that there is a X-Large and a Large-XL, that was a little confusing to figure out. But luckily for me I ordered the X-large with a 46" measurement and it fit good. Had to wear a belt to insure it didn't slip away from by belly. The fabric is thin and is rip stop material that is quick dry, think fishing shirt or hiking pants. It is light weight compared to some other kilts I have. The way they did the pleats is pretty cool, they will stay pleated however it does get crunched up after sitting and standing all day. The detachable pockets are big enough for me to carry everything that I normally would each day, they have a snap button that snaps to the leg so it moves with you. The built in pockets are a nice option if you are going for a sleek look. They are deep enough to work with EDC gear but I would consider ditching some stuff for comfort because they aren't real deep. Back pocket is big enough to carry a minimalist wallet. Having the option to remove the side bags is great, I bought these to work in so I have room from tape measure, square and stuff. But when I need to run to the store I can just pull them off and still have my EDC in the built in pockets. Quality is pretty good, I have had the kilt on all weekend in work and play and haven't had an issue. With that being said the clasp and D-rings feel really cheap, I was reading some complaints that the D-ring will slide out of the loop if you wear suspenders. This hasn't happened to me but I can see it being possible. I wouldn't be surprised if the clasp break one day. The snap buttons are good and the webbing feels strong. I am on the fence about the Velcro squad patch but it's really not that important. All in all I am happy with my purchase and would buy again. I would also recommend this to other people.

This is kilt #8. I have four Utilikilts and an Amerikilt. Thus, I can compare. Size was dead on. Flectarn has been my goal. Wish I could get Troppentarn. This is the only non-traditional that I can wear without a belt, which is good because a belt would cover a lot of molle. Not yet bought molle gear for it. (planning) Do one in Troppentarn and I'll buy it yesterday. The inboard and removable outboard pockets (as well as molle) offer lots of options.

This is the second kilt we have ordered and it's really nice. It's made out of 50/50 rip stop and has plenty of fittings to either hook or attached quite a bit of gear. My brother was pleased to see good riveting and the all important fasteners were anchored. I wouldn't really advise using this kilt for roof or ladder work but you certainly wouldn't worry about it tearing.

The length is where I would expect. The apron was wide enough all the way down. The tactical strapping looks like it will hold up for a long time. The patch holder on the corner of the apron is a nice touch. My girlfriend says my butt looks good in it. This item goes well with my other tactical gear. The ripstop nylon is the same material as my lightweight tactical pants, so it should hold up well and will be comfortable this summer.

I was kinda unsure on the size being that this was my first kilt. I was between a M and M/L so I went up. The kilt is a little big, but fits and feels great. Loved it so much, I bought a second kilt! I washed it before I wore it to get any loose threads off, and threw it in the dryer (never throw the kilt in the dryer) because I had room to spare and that helped a little on the size. Wore it out back that weekend for some range time with the boys and felt great! Shortly after, a friend of mine bought his first kilt as well. You will not be disappointed!

Used a piece of paracord to see my size by holding it how tight I wanted it to fit. Worked like a charm. Ran a very muddy Spartan Race in it today and it held up excellent. I got a lot of compliments on the course and it was often a topic of conversation whenever I went over any high obstacles (people wondering what was underneath)..... all in good fun. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

The waist measurement you take needs to be spot-on for this to fit comfortably. The kilt is comfortable, practical, gets lots of comments, and is extremely stylish. There are loads of molle attachment loops, 3 internal pockets, and 2 large external ones. Combined with a sporran, you have lots of storage space. Add a belt, and that allows for even more gear. The velcro patch will fit two 2"x3" morale/unit patches in vertical orientation (i.e. it is 4"x3").

I really love it, it’s very secure a very cool, it’s definitely what you’re looking for. It’s just that I’m fairly wide in the waste, if there was a version that was shorter so that it would reach only to my knees or just above my knees, but still be wide enough, being shorter but also not sacrificing that the bell shaped to get a wider at the bottom but is narrow at the hips. But is the same hip size and shorter. , that would be good. But because I’m wide in the waste I had to get a bigger size it goes a little bit below my knees and that’s a little bit too long. But then again maybe it’s not, that’s just an issue of style. It has lots of pockets, lots of attachment points, it’s very secure, I feel really good wearing it. Lots of flexibility.

This kilt came a little later than expected due to a government holiday but that is the only issue. I measured twice (as recommended) and picked the size accordingly. It fits perfectly. The khaki tactical kilt is basically a light shade of coyote and looks well made. The kilt came with a baggie of additional snaps if any were to break, which I think is a great touch as I plan to put this bad boy thru some serious use. The comfort is unparalleled, the styling is spot on and the kilt hangs to my knees even as it sits at my belly button without issue. I've already gotten compliments and plan to buy another. I only wish the military green was in my size.
