So good for Turtles. Cuttle bone just floats in tank and they chew on them. Better than other brands because they have no hard backing like the ones you give birds. These are just for Turtles and they love them. Give a few days for Turtle to try. Well worth the price and good for your Turtle ! We always use these for Turtle health.

I use these for my red eared slider and my Forrest hinge back tortoise. It's great for an extra boost of calcium and it helps them maintain the length of their beaks and nails, which means I don't have to worry about clipping them as often. My turtle generally eats the bone entirely and my tortoise usually likes to rub his beak on it and will take bites on rare occasion. I add other calcium methods as well, but these are extremely helpful and are a main method I use.

A straight forward product. 2 cuttle bones that are easily placed in your reptile pens so they have access to calcium when they need it. I use them for my Russian tortoises and box eastern box turtles. Don't be worried if they sit untouched, they will eat it when they need it. This was a good price and shipped fast and safe, not broken or crushed. I will be ordering more as I need them. Thank you!

Turtles love 'em, I love 'em. Sometimes the little guys try to get on top and ride them around. Also, before we got a filter, one of these ended up being a good way to tell that the tank was way dirtier than we thought because one day we noticed lots of little parasitic worms on it. Worms were fine for the turtles, but we learned that we needed to be more frequent with the water changes and to get a filter sooner rather than later.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! is what my turtles would say, if they could speak! I bought these Turtle Bone Calcium Treats, after reading the reviews, to see if my sliders would like them and they absolutely LOVE them. They don't just nibble, they take huge chunks out at a time and chow down. My 2 turtles can finish one piece in about a week, so I just put another one in when they're finished. These will now be part of their regular feeding. As much as I have tried to introduce them to leafy greens, for getting their calcium, they just have no interest in veggies. Kinda like children! ReptoMin has calcium but it's nice to know they can get it through another source. These are a keeper and a mainstay staple to their diet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Your turtles will love them, too!

I’ve been using these for years now, and my aquatic turtles (RES) still love them! This is no exaggeration; what used to last them up to 4 weeks when they were babies now sometimes only lasts around 24 to 48 hours (the pigs have approx. 8 inch shells). The bones are meant to aid in the turtle's shell growth, egg growth (supposedly in females according to the box), keep their beak trim, or even just give them something to chomp on because they probably already try to eat anything you put in their tank. They are a great source of calcium, but I try to limit my turtles to one or two a month, and if they eat it too fast it's their own piggy fault. A few things to be aware of: Depending on your substrate or lack of, the calcium bones might leave visible white debris in the bottom of the tank from the turtles nipping at it. If you have aquatic turtles, like my RES, then you may hear the bone knocking on the sides of the tank when the turtles try to eat on it. As the turtles get bigger, the knocking gets louder! Lastly, be careful what you order with these. If you order large objects and have them shipped together, these might arrive all busted up. My RES eat them whole or in pieces, but it can be messy. My two red eared sliders started nibbling on it as soon as I put it in their tank last night. After tips from others and reading reviews, I shaved off the sharp edge around, just in case. This is the first time they’ve shown interest in a cuttle bone, and I’m sure it’ll be gone in a couple of days, they had already been eating a lot around it this morning!☺️🐢🐢

Our turtle really likes these turtle bones. They provide calcium to the turtle. However, I will warn you that as the turtle eats them it does put a little calcium particles to the bottom of your tank - which is a little messy. Our turtle likes to eat and he attacks these things. Rarely do they last more than a few days. These are the perfect size. We have bought larger ones (twice this big) but he didn't eat them as much and they ended up getting nasty.

I am a convert. I used to use bird cuttlebones once in a while because they were cheaper, but was never happy because they sank to the bottom within a day or two and did him no good. This has been in the tank over a month and is still floating. He does not have any problems with his shell, but I know calcium is good for him and maybe will make him look even better. I have still not seen my Read Eared Slider chomp it yet, but as you can see from the picture, he has done quite a bit of munching when I am not looking. I will be sure to keep one of these in his tank all the time now.
