Beyond pleased with these. I've had them for a few weeks. They may scratch up easily.... bit I store them inside each other on an empty shelf. (Do not keep near pots and pans... They will scratch up). I had wash. The silicone in bottom is great. Lids are more plastic. Not silicone. Tight seal. They store food nicely. I store chopped romaine in the next to smallest one and it keeps longer than in plastic wear. They are really beautiful. In had family members admiring them during a party. I used them to serve chips in. Almost want another set.... just because 😁

Wow I never considered the dramatic difference in something as simple as a regular mixing bowl and a bowl like these with a silicone bottom. I love that I can have these bowls on the counter and mix things inside of them without them sliding around everywhere and wobbling. I like the engraved measurements too. The smallest bowl is about the size of a regular bowl and the largest bowl is huge! The lids are great too cuz they snap into place on top of the bowl and although I don’t think it’s totally airtight it does make a good seal that should be adequate for short term leftovers or storage.

These bowls are wonderful! Definitely my new favorite. There are so many little details that make this set stellar and destined to be used daily for years to come. They have LIDS that lie flat, not raised, so they are easy to stack on top of each other. The lids are user friendly, so they aren't tempermental like tupperware for me to get open. The bowls NEST into one another, so they don't take a lot of extra room. Plus, the bowls sit right on top of the lids, not taking up any more room for the lids as well. The BOTTOMS ARE WEIGHTED which helps a great deal with mixing and keeping them upright. The BOTTOMS HAVE NON-SKID COATING keeping them from sliding on the countertop. Graduated bowl MEASUREMENTS ARE ETCHED INSIDE the bowls. Perfect for measuring inside the bowl without having to dirty a measuring cup. What can I say? I love these bowls!

Nesting bowls have been on my list for a while but am really picky so couldn't execute. Bought these with a "let's see" attitude and am completely satisfied. In fact I use them everyday and they stay within reach. They are durable, easy to wash, perfect sizes, nest tightly, and the covers make it even better to just store food if needed. I read reviews that stated the kids don't fit well but I have found that putting them in and then lifting one edge to let air out they fit perfectly. I put the bowls in the dishwasher once in a while but not the lids. They are apparently dishwasher safe but they don't really get too dirty and easy to rinse and potentially preserve their shape over time. I am likely going to buy a second set...great deal.

A PROS AND CONS REVIEW BRIEF DESCRIPTION: I recently purchases a couple brands of mixing bowls with different features and was really impressed with the Bellemain brand mixing set. Both sets of the non-skid I tried out were outstanding, but I will give you a few things to consider when buying this type of kitchen tool, and some pros and cons I found. The Cons I will mention are more about choosing the right tool than any serious flaw in the bowls. I got these for about $20 after a $5 shipping credit holiday special. The interiors have measuring lines on the inside, even on the smaller bowls. All bowls have lids that are neither too cheap, nor that substantial. The bottoms have a flat surface as you might expect, are thick and substantial like a component rather than just a cheap latex coating. Plus, they are somewhat soft/tacky so they do have a certain amount of no-skid property. They have a slightly rubbery feel to be specific. Be aware there is a just slightly wider lip on these bowls than many sets I have seen. On the smallest bowl its a little over 1/4" and on the largest it's 1/2" wide (see photo). The lids are softly air tight (more on this below) and have a body or depression about 1/3 inch deep that presses down into the bowl rather than just snapping on top. PROS: This is a sharp looking set, classy with nice graphics and the metal was plenty substantial. In fact, they were just perceptibly thicker than the other set I purchased. The non-skid bottom surface is a nice touch and quiets the bowls just a little. It's not the "be-all, end-all" of features. Just a nice touch and it did attract me to the set. I like the measuring lines on the inside though I will rarely measure from the bowl. It's just something to have in case you need it. As I said, the rubberish component on the bottom is substantial and not just a coating. I also rarely store stuff in my mixing bowls. But the lids are handy if you get caught mid project or you just need to toss it into the refrigerator with no more fuss. The lids will create a basic seal. But don't expect them to hold liquid if they are tilted on their sides (more below). POSSIBLE CONS: I say these are not necessarily cons because you simply choose another kitchen tool for the right job. These bowls do what they were designed to do. The first thing to consider is if you need temperature affected mixing. The bottom rubbery surface insulates and makes these less suitable for cold or hot water vats (ie... top pan in a double boiler). That is a rare instance, but worth thinking about. There is no pour spout on these bowls and the wider lip can actually affect some kinds of liquids during pouring. I got 1 less bowl than the other set I purchased on sale, but then I paid slightly less for this set and you get the lids too. The etching inside the bowls marking the measuring lines are somewhat light and similar to the metal color, so in less than perfect light you won't see them well (turn them the right way in normal light and they are plenty visible). However, those measuring lines were still more visible than the other set I purchased (Chef's Brand). ---- ***REGARDING THE LIDS: I did a simple water test and held them upside down. The seal is air tight when sitting properly. But if you drop the bowl or shake it to mix for whatever reason, that seal begins to fail very easily. You cannot use it as a shaker and the lid does not SNAP on. Even if just held on it's side for more than a second or two, that seal can fail. It just has a thick gauge that pushes down into the bowl and creates the seal. To be fair, I see this same style lid with very many brands listed on Amazon. I have one last observation and it is a minor one where you need to choose the right bowl. This set has a flat bottom on the inside as well as out. If you are a person who still does any whisking with a wire whisk by hand, it is not as convenient as a completely round surface bowl. NOTE: I have included a couple photos with examples of only what I need to demonstrate from my comments. I have tried to be sparing as there are quite a few other videos and photos up for your benefit. FINAL THOUGHTS: Setting aside what I might do differently, I simply use other bowls for those needs. This is still a five star set that serves the inexpensive need I purchased them for. The cons are not gripes, just observations. I would still take this set even over other nearly perfect sets I have seen. I highly recommend these bowls. However, the non-skid bottoms ironically are also the reason these maybe shouldn't be your first/only set of mixing bowls waiting in the pantry. The type of jobs they cannot handle are rare depending on what you make in your own home. But it's probably best to have a more conventional alternative to go along with them. I also preferred the black here to the color I had in the other brand.

These bowls are absolutely wonderful. They are very good quality stainless steel. They grip the counter and do not slide because of the bottom. The lids are very nice to have. The largest bowl isn't really large but the quality is excellent. I would bury them again

I bought these because I wanted food storage that wasn't plastic & didn't want glass due to it's weight. I use these for left overs. I make lots of food for my kids & keep it in tupawres. The lids are well fitting. They don't slip. I'm happy with my purchase. ....

I'm not sure why some have had issues such as rust or the lids, I have not at all but I hand wash and don't put them in the dishwasher (I actually don't use my dishwasher at all). I love these. Very convenient that there are four sizes, they don't slide on the counters, and love that I can use the lid to store in the fridge. My boyfriend loves them too and wants to get his own set.

To Give or Keep? That is the Question. I bought these for my granddaughter's wedding shower. They came and I am having a hard time deciding what to do. I love these bowls, especially the weighted bottoms. When you are mixing things like eggs or liquids, the bowl will spin around or tip over. The weighted bottoms solve that problem. Now back to my problem. I cook all the time. My granddaughter does not cook. Will she really appreciate these bowls, their unique designs, their many practical uses, and of course the lid for each bowl? They truly have everything that is important to a cook. But, I guess when I was young and getting married, I did not know that much about cooking either. Ask my husband about the first Sunday meal I ever cooked that had a roast on the menu. A bowl was just a bowl to me, too. So yes, the bowls will go to the kitchen they were brought for. It makes me happy to give her something I know is of good quality and the more she uses it, the more she will use it. True cooks know what that statement means. When Elizabeth takes one out when she is 70 like me, she will hold it up and maybe point it out to her daughter and say, "Now this is a bowl" And the best part of that, is when she is celebrating her 50th anniversary, they will still be just as useful. Now, that is what I call a good thing! Maxine Wright, Bremen, GA

These turned out to be much nicer than I expected for the price. The metal is nicely polished and sturdy. This is not a set that will dent the first time you use them. The stainless appears to be well made. I'm less impressed with the lids, but the set does stack with the smaller lids put on top and the larger lid covering it all. It took me a few tries to get that to work. I do not plan on washing the lids in the dishwasher, as in my experience this will eventually warp even the sturdiest one. The lids work okay, but it can be tricky to get them on straight. They should work well enough for my purposes. Am very happy to have a nice solid set of stainless steel bowls to use. These are just as study as the ones my mother had in her kitchen and the non-slip bottoms are a real bonus.
