Money belt was great for my trip to Italy

I used this money belt on a recent trip to Italy and it met all of my needs as it had enough space to hold two passports, a couple of credit cards and cash. The belt was very slim so it didn't show through my clothing, it was comfortable and the elastic band retained its elasticity. I would definitely recommend this money below. One last comment - I wrapped the elastic band around one of my belt loops so that even if somebody had been able to disconnect the belt's latch the belt would not have been able to be removed as I would have felt it being pulled upon.

I can pretty much tell this is going to be perfect for ...

I haven’t actually used it yet, but my cruise is just two weeks away. But based on looks & feel alone, I can pretty much tell this is going to be perfect for what I needed. It’s well made, lightweight and fits good. I’ll try to remember to update this review once I’ve used it! UPDATE: I bought this money belt to use on a 7-day cruise I recently took. Let me tell you, I couldn’t be more pleased!! I wanted to carry a sufficient amount of cash to avoid running up a credit card, so I wore this under my clothing EVERY day ... and no matter what kind of outfit I chose for the day, I never had any sign of having this on. It was super comfortable and easy to adjust either up or down around my waist area. I felt better not having to leave cash in the room safe (even though I know that’s what they’re for). My money was with me all day, every day - and nobody could tell. I would highly recommend this thing to anyone!! A great product.

Good quality and comfortable

I bought this to replace the my wallet for day-to-day wear. Mostly because I no longer like the wear on my pants back pocket where the wallet sits, and I liked the idea of having RFID proof carrier for my credit cards. This item has two zippered pockets. The upper zippered pocket additionally has three card slots (credit card sized) inside it. PRO's: * Very comfortable. Both the strap and the material backing the "wallet" itself is very soft. For me, I don't notice that I am wearing it unless I'm thinking about it. * My biggest fear about buying something like this was that it would be like the fanny packs of old ... big, clunky, and noticeable. These "Money Belt" are anything but that. * The clip is for the strap is very small, flat, and not intrusive. For the first day or so, I had to get use to the clipping and unclipping as I was more used to the big clips on fanny packs. * I like the three card slots in the upper zippered pocket. Useful for splitting out the many different type of cards that I have, to include credit cards, ID cards, and various insurance/vendor cards. I use the area outside the slots (still in the same pocket) for cash. I put receipts in the other zippered (lower) pocket. It didn't take long to remember which pockets and slots hold what. CON's: * None so far SUGGESTION(S): * Different colors maybe? Say red, navy blue, ?

Great Money Belt, Some Nice Perks That Most Companies Wouldn't Offer.

I really do like this Money Belt. It has a better than I thought back side which is nice and soft. And some nice individual CC pockets in the main pouch. I stepped on it a few times and seems to be holding up. ;) Also, this company offers you "Theft Protection", up to $250, when you follow the guidelines. And it comes with two little stickers that you would put on a valuable, the stickers have a phone number and a ID number for that particular sticker. So the possibility of having your property returned is improved, if you lost it. :) The company has some nice follow up emails to ensure you received the Money Belt, but to make sure you are happy with it also... Nobody does that anymore. Thank you for your time.

and I'm so glad we did

My husband and I both used one on our trip to Italy, and I'm so glad we did, because they kept our passports and credit cards and money safe, whereas someone else in our group got their wallet stolen coming out of a gift shop. Anything that is important to you should stay on your person, not in a purse or backpack! We wore it under our clothes, so it was not visible to the public. I like the two zipper compartments, because one can hold your credit cards and passport, the other can hold your cash. That way you are usually accessing your cash, and less often accessing your passport and credit cards. I also like the RFID Blocking feature, feeling that everything was very safe from pickpockets or ID thieves.

Won't travel without it again

We just finished an around the world trip. This money belt went through 18 airports, probably 25 security checks. It never set off an alarm. After 6 weeks and 40,000 miles, it looks as good as it did when we started our trip. I had one and my fiance had one. I used mine as my jeans belt with longish t-shirts so it couldn't be seen. My fiance had his under all his clothing. I kept only money in mine. He kept passport, money and credit cards in his. We'd take them off and put them right into the safe in our hotel room. Perfect!

Good

I bought for trip to Thailand. Light weight and comfortable to wear. I worry about the buckles, could break if you stepped on them possibly so was careful. Sometimes rides up when sitting for a while. I kept a credit card, bank card, passport, and money in it. I put my phone in too for a while but found I used it so much and it was bulky so I kept the phone in my pocket. Fairly easy to get money out and put back but you still look weird using this, but scared of pick pockets otherwise. I took it off for TSA checks going but kept it on coming back and had no issues. I just hand washed it (I sweat a lot there). I would recommend. I paid full price.

Great quality, comfortable, would purchase this again

We are frequent European travelers, and are very pleased with this top-quality money belt. It is size-adjustable and very comfortable and slim-line to lie smoothly under clothes. It has two pockets, and it has a slim but sturdy buckle you squeeze to open then to clip it back on. The seams are well-made (it feels like it will last a long time), and it has the metallic RFID blocker fabric on the inside of the pouches. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I’m happy to give this product 5 stars. Although I am not able to test the RFID blocking feature, if it is anything like the build quality, it will work perfectly. I won’t be traveling for a while, but I wanted to make sure everything worked as advertised, so I gave it a workout. This money belt has two zipper pouches (as pictured) with three credit card pockets inside the big pouch. Pouches are secured with YKK high-quality zippers and look to be made to last. I worked those things for all they were worth and couldn’t get them to catch, slow down, jam or break. The fabric seems to be some sort of rip-stop and, although I didn’t try to rip the thing, I gave the seams a good work out without any ill effects. The belt fastener is low profile, but substantial enough to do the job. The closure is in front to avoid accidentally coming unsnapped. The seams are all straight and well stitched. The waistband is robust enough for the job without being bulky. It looks like it could accommodate up to a 48” waist, but I’ve not measured it. The money belt is light weight and looks like it will breathe well. Customer service contacted me straight away. The company representative wanted to know if the item arrived on time and in good shape (it did). She was insistent I had to be 100% delighted or PEAK would do what it took to make sure I was. Ya don’t hear that every day. Wouldn’t it be nice if every company took that approach? From what I can tell, this is the only product PEAK makes and they are putting everything into making it right. This thing is made to last; not some good-for-half-a-trip article that will leave you frustrated or worse, ruin your trip. If you have ever been hacked electronically or had your pockets picked while traveling, you know what ruined looks like. Very Highly recommended.
