I was given a military issued one 10-15 years ago & lost it 8 years ago on vacation. I replaced it with a couple different ones that hung on the wall, some with radios, one with lights, but nothing ever worked as well at being fog free as my old faithful, UNTIL THIS ONE. The only downside is the hook is junk but that's ok because my old one hung from the shower head & so does this one.

Things I don't like: - sometimes when I'm in a hurry it is a nuisance to hold the mirror underneath the hot water for a minute to get rid of fogging - I've noticed after a month that there are some hard water stains on it, but that just means I need to windex it I guess :) This is a great product! Things I like: - adjustable height - the included clips hold my dollar shave club razor - doesn't need batteries - small footprint

Best shower mirror I've had. It just requires building up some heat by holding it under hot water for about 30 seconds. I turn up temperature warmer than I use in the shower, hold it under the water, then hang it on the wall and turn the temp to my normal shower temp. It will last around 10 minutes without starting to fog. Works great. I've had battery lit ones with adjustable magnification. Eventually they fall due to battery compartment getting moisture and despite 3-4 suction cups they tend to fall off the wall at some point every month or 2. This is simple and does the job!

What a great idea for a shower mirror. No suction cups, no permanent attachment, just a mirror on a rope that can be moved where needed. Such genius!! By running a little water over the back fogging is eliminated and it even comes with a little hook to apply wherever you want it. To be honest, I removed the hook after the first day and just looped the string around one of my shower hooks as the lighting is better facing towards the middle of the shower curtain. Works great and yes, I would highly recommend this convenient little mirror!

Have only used it once thus far, but it makes shaving in the shower so easy. Getting the plastic covering off the mirror is really tough, be careful not to scratch the mirror when you are trying to peel it off. Other than that problem, everything works well with that mirror. The rope is really long, but it also comes with adhesive and hooks that you can use instead of the rope. Highly recommend this product!

I do not understand how this product could get anything less than a 5-star review, after all, it is a mirror. It does not fog up, once it has been brought up to temperature, and is large enough for the intended purpose of assisting with a shower shave. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the film was a little challenging to remove, but that is just being nitpicky. I think this is an excellent addition to my morning routine, and the, what appear to be, stainless steel hooks were a nice touch.

Once heated it really holds its clarity. I was suspicious that it might not work, as my old one (different maker) stayed fogless only briefly, but this one is much better. Exactly what I needed.

I spend a lot of time in front of the mirror watching myself get ready in the morning. As if I wasn’t vain enough, I decided I need to watch myself shower. It works!!! Now that I can watch myself for twenty minutes longer I feel that I can live up to the expectations I set for myself. Just kidding. I like to shave in the shower and this helps me see my ugly face. Tied it to the shower head. The suction cups didn’t suck like they were supposed to. So they sucked. Ironic isn’t it......

this has proven to be a good purchase. very good price (look at other mirrors) and it works well. good size. most important, versatile hanging options from hooks to rope. mine works just fine tied over the shower head pipe. out of the way, cannot fall and easy to quickly warm-up the mirror front and back. suggest buy the "cladded/covered" (back of mirror) option for longevity.

It's too early to comment on longevity, so I'll follow up in a few months. As for today, here's my review: This is a very solid and thick plastic mirror with very clear image quality. I bought the cladded version (more expensive) in order to get many years (hopefully) of use. The choice of rope or hooks (2) is nice. Rope wouldn't work in my case since hanging it from the shower head uses only a few inches of rope and I would have to unwrap it each time to wet the mirror. I decided to mount a hook on the wall opposite the sliding shower doors. We have a light directly above the shower, so there's plenty of light to shave with. After completing my shower, I lift the mirror off it's hook to quickly wet the back and front. I then hang it back up and use the dry washcloth to wipe the mirror. Then I turn the shower water off. I use a bar of soap to lather up my face (works as good as shaving cream), and grab my razor. For some reason, I can shave my entire face without the razor clogging. It's great. When I'm done shaving (takes about 2 to 3 minutes tops), I turn the water back on and rinse my face and razor thoroughly. Additional Comments: Removing the plastic mirror film was a little difficult. I used my fingernail in order to get the corner started. After it was removed there is a sharp lip all around the front edge of the mirror. Probably not sharp enough to cut yourself but the company needs to address this sharp edge. The cladded version I bought was "wet steel". I did not expect it to be a picture of water droplets with a company logo in the corner. As long as it protects the mirror from de-silvering and makes it last longer, I'm happy. The company could make the plastic protection film a little easier to remove. Maybe a paper tab under the film on one corner during production would help. The XL size is perfect for shaving. Anything smaller would be a drawback. While you could probably rig up a dollar-store plastic mirror to work in the shower, the quality and mounting features of this one are worth the extra money in my opinion.
