This is a great product, very easy set up! After a couple of hours of hanging this unit inside my refrigerator, I was able to get an accurate reading. The day that I unpacked this item, I received an email from Wrenwane (Andrew E.) He wanted to make sure that I was happy with my purchase and that if I had any issues, I could contact him directly. That is standing behind your product !!! I’m very impressed and I will highly recommend this excellent “Fridge Thermostat”.

Great item! Large display. Verified temps with another thermometer in both my refrigerator and freezer. My freezer is set to zero, but keep in mind that this thermometer does not go below -4, just in case your freezer is really really cold. The little "hanging clip" is a nice touch. Great customer service, if you need it. I keep this thermometer in my refrigerator which is set at 37 Degrees F. I've taken it out just to check my room temp and it works equally well for that, too. All around, satisfied customer.

This digital thermometer is accurate and is saving my sanity. And my bank account. My husband started complaining last week that everything in the refrigerator was too cold. He insisted that I call for a repair person, which I did. In the meantime, I cleared the vents and adjusted the temperature control. The repair person called me back the next day and asked whether I had cleared the vents and adjusted the temperature control. I said I had. He asked how the fridge was working now. I said it seemed fine. He said to me, Lady, that's why these things have adjustments. I told my husband, and he said everything is too cold. So I bought two thermometers. According to both, the fridge is at a PERFECT 35-37 degrees fahrenheit, depending on where you put them. I put the non-digital one in the freezer, where it shows an also perfect zero degrees. I think maybe my husband's teeth are getting more sensitive.

When I first review this product (original review now deleted), I only gave it one star because the unit that I had received registered temperatures far different from other thermometers in the same room. Wrenwane took notice of that review and immediately contacted me via email and sent a replacement! The replacement is doing a good job, registering within a degree of the other thermometers in the room, so I now trust it to give me accurate results in the freezer and refrigerator. I like the thermometer; but more than that, I am just blown away by the phenomenal customer service!

I was searching for a very simple, easy to read thermometer for my fridge, to make sure that it was cold enough to keep foods safe. This one has all of the things that I was looking for. It is very accurate. I tested it with 2 other thermometers that I have, that are less than 1 degree apart. This thermometer was right between the 2 of them. You can't get more accurate than that! I now keep it in my fridge and it works great. It is so easy to see the large numbers and it takes up very little space.

We recently purchased a freezer and decided to get one of these to see just how cold it was operating. We first tested it under room temperature conditions against another thermometer that was known to be accurate. It passed. After five hours in the new freezer, this digital thermometer gave a reading of "LL". After a mild panic and fear of having wasted some money, I learned from an emailed user's guide that "LL" means the temperature was below the lower limit of the thermometer. We had the freezer set too cold. After a couple of days of trying new freezer settings, we arrived at 3 deg F as our target point. So this Wrenware thermometer has already saved us money in electricity consumption. Based on our experience, I recommend it.

I am a college student who rents. My fridge has been warming up randomly the past few months and some food has been spoiling. The maintenance my landlord sent fixed it temporarily, but ultimately the freezer heating mechanic does not work because my boyfriend has to reset the timer it every once in a while(I'm regurgitating info because I have no technical skills in fixing my fridge). In midst of him trying to tamper with our fridge when it had heated up again, I got this thermometer as a way to monitor the temperature...that way as soon as the temperature got too high, he could reset the timer and no food would go back. This way, even if he could not fix it, we will know right away if the fridge is not at a good temperature and can call in maintenance as needed. This thermometer is great for my purposes. The picture makes it look like you have to hang it on something in the fridge but the "hook" can be pushed back and used as a kickstand so that is can sit on a shelf, which is what I did. It's tiny enough that it takes up little room but I still see the temperature as soon as I open the fridge. It comes installed with the battery, so all I had to do was open it, set it to F, and put it in my fridge.

My refrigerator seemed to be "on the blink". Sometimes it felt cold; sometimes it didn't feel so cold. So, to be sure, I ordered this refrigerator thermometer. The thermometer is super easy to operate. There is an on/off button and a centigrade/fahrenheit button. It also has a hanger so it is easy to place where it can be seen. Turns out, I do have a faulty refrigerator. Temperature swings from 29 to 39 degrees. I wish finding a repairman was as easy as installing a thermometer.

Got it today (on time), tested it against 2 other thermometers & A/C thermostat. This new Wrenwane registered higher by 4-6 degrees F than the others. Not good enough for fridge thermometer. Also the kickstand on the back does not work - it doesn’t stay in place or snap into place, so it falls over. Propped it up in my fridge ~ will retest tomorrow against the other two thermometers, but for now its not looking good. Edit Update June 17th Upgraded to 5 stars It's working fine after acclimating to my fridge overnight. It took a day, but it began reading accurately. Also, once the plastic casing contracted a bit in the cold environs the kickstand finally nudged into place so it's standing up. I'm happy with it now.

I purchased two of the Wrenwane Digital Refrigerator and Freezer Thermometer/Temperature Gauges from Amazon.com. I received them in the mail in a few days and installed the batteries. I put the Gauges next to my home Trane AC Unit Temperature Control Panel that I knew was 100 percent accurate. In a couple of hours the temperature on both of the Wrenwane Gauges was the same as my Trane AC Units Temperature Control Panel. I was amazed that the Wrenwane Digital Refrigerator Gauges were accurate. I never expected the Wrenwane Guages to be so accurate. I placed one of the gauges in my Freezer and one in my Refrigerator. They work great.
