Bought to use it during my very long staying in Finland and other Scandinavian countries. I arrived Finland, went to the local Elisa store got a 4G unlimited data package (only 17 euros per month). Received the SIM on the regular mail, installed it and it worked immediately, no problem. Finland is of course a very advanced country in wireless communications (a lot more than the old USA) so that might be a reason why this product is working very well. I am very happy with the whole experience.

Worked very well when on 4G. Battery life appears very adequate even though some users said otherwise. It was great to have in my pocket as I walked around European cites. (iPhone in other pocket!) I did have issues using it when on 3G but I am not sure if that was the SIM so I am leaving my review as 5 stars even though I had minor issues. Certainly better value than paying Verizon $10 per day.

I got this little device for a deployment to the middle east, and i have been really impressed with its capability. I do get 4g speeds when outdoors, and upper 3g when in concrete buildings. I have no complains honestly with its function other than not connecting to the huawei app! I just connect it to my computer and adjust it that way instead of through the app. The battery life is meh, but totally expected. I carry a power pack to recharge while on the go and have no issues at all. If you want 4g speeds in the middle eastern regions i would highly reccomend this! These and the lower models sell for $180+ at the kiosks around here.

Reliable product!!! I was able to use it the last time I travelled to Asia (Philippines). This is a must have item when you travel. Get a local SIM card with data plan, manually configure APN, power off and on then you are good to go. I am currently using this in my car to provide WiFi. Really good product to have. Highly recommended. However, sometimes, the HUAWEI E5332 mobile WiFi can’t read the SIM card and it would not auto connect the network. So user need to setup and configure the HUAWEI E5577CS manually. Below are the steps to guide the setup: 1. Plug the SIM card to device HUAWEI E5577CS 2. Power on HUAWEI E5332 3. Connect the WiFi device to HUAWEI E5577CS(the SSID and WiFi key are on the back cover inner part) 4. Land the web management page: 192.168.1.1

The product is brand new with HUAWEI logo, not with specific local carrier's logo, and doesn't include 2 rx tx additional antennas. if you want you can purchase from Aliexpress.com this is really simple device and easy to use. And you must know that this device needs Full size u-sim instead of Micro or Nano SIM. if you have only Nano or Micro types you must find a simple converter to size up it. The only little problem that this device doesn't have any APN settings so you need to find the correct APN for your carrier by google or web site or your own other smartphone device and install Huawei official app then login & set it. It is easy for geeks and nerds like you, but I'm sure that if somebody doesn't have any specialty for this zone they never can understand how to set it up. However it's not super hard so you can do by yourself with 10minutes labor. The final small error that is the Login password from Huawei App. to have a kind of administrator permission, the password has been set from Factory as the backside sticker's numbers Even if you've changed the SSID's password. The Huawei Hi link app says [the password is same as SSID's password] but it's not true. the App's password still not changed so that you should put as the originally provided password which is printed on the backside sticker's bottomside. The charging port is the old type USB Micro type as old Android smartphones, it's not C type. size dimension: slightly heavier than credit card. of course it has approx.1cm thickness. Bands: so many bands are supported but you must check if you are planning to use internationally, fyi it's okay for Korean carriers.

Couldn't get this to work at first, it recognized that it was a AT&T sim card but we could get the internet to work, we even went into AT&T and they replaced the sim card and it still wouldn't work, so I was going to send it back and we found a review on a similar Huawei device that said you had to manually enter the APN, and so we tried it and it works great now. So we were grandfathered in from an old Alltel unlimited data plan and had an old LG usb Connect stick, so here's what we did: So we put the sim card into this Huawei E5577C and connected to it via wifi, opened a browser window and typed in 192.168.8.1 enter, logged in, under Configure Profile Settings click add new profile, enter what you want to call the profile and user name and password just make sure under APN put wap.cingular, saved it and it worked. Depending on your carrier your APN setting might be different, we just googled Access Point Name (APN) for AT&T.(our carrier)

My work requires me to travel. By far a great purchase to allow myself internet and service in places I am temporarily in (Currently through out Europe). Huawei has been my go to device as well as my colleague's and they will continue to get my support. Prices are great for what you get, especially when compared to other devices locally around me being sold. Scratches easy though (keys in pocket, constant movement in and out of pocket, working with it on you and hitting it on avcident type stuff), but the device and screen itself hold strong. Always remember about the App for Huawei as well. Makes things easier.

Utilized the mobile hot spot across Europe without issues, don't forget to log in and set APN details manually for the cell network you bought the SIM card for. We utilized the mobile hot spot in Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.

worked very well for trips to oman just picked up a local sims card at the airport and was good to go

This little device is awesome. Connects perfectly and I get excellent range out of it. I use it mainly when my main Internet goes down. For that reason I don't have a steady monthly plan on it, just a pay when you need it plan. The device has a great screen where you can manage it and also send SMS messages from it. So when I need to activate the Internet I just navigate to the management screen using the IP address and then send the SMS messages from there. Couldn't ask for more, it has a large variety of bands it can operate on so depending where I am I can pop in the proper SIM, activate the Internet plan and be good to go. I love it.
