If you want a great display case for any collectible coins or challenge coins, this is the one to get. It does have a couple of removable coin shelves for larger items you may want to display, such as badges, awards, medals. The sharp black box with locking hasps looks great hanging on the wall as a conversational piece when friends come around and view your collection. Worth the price and it is quality material. I can highly recommend this for anyone who wants to display their collection without the dust being collected from having an open air shelve.

Using to display small ornaments

I was organizing all my Christmas decor and came across a box of little wood ornaments from Germany. My grandmother would send me a few every year for St. Nicholas Day. While I don’t put a tree up every year, I do like to have some festive decor - I decided to put the mini ornaments in a display case so I can enjoy seeing them during the holidays, rather than leave them in a box under the stairs. I looked at shotglass cabinets and a few other styles, and decided the LEGO minifigure/challenge coin cabinet was the way to go. I turned it so the slots face down. And added a tiny dab of Museum Wax to the bottom of each ornament, to keep them in place. There were a few that were too tall for the shelves, so I removed one shelf for extra room, and a couple were too 3 dimensional to fit, but overall, the cabinet was perfect for my childhood ornament collection! It’ll be nice to display them next Christmas. The cabinet itself is well made, the hinges and patches are intact and the glass was undamaged. The finish is a nice, smooth, even black surface. The back is a black felt-like fabric. The removable shelves were nice and straight, and were easy to pull out. All in all, I’m very pleased with this little cabinet.

Great quality!

First off, it’s hard to tell in the pictures but this case is black (which is what I wanted, not complaining!). For the price, it’s pretty well made. Glass window, not plastics, and there’s good quality latches & hardware. Packaged extremely carefully, arrived fast. I would definitely recommend buying this!

CHALLENGE COIN CASE

Excellent quality case, looks great on my office wall to display my challenge coins, badges, and pins. The adjustable shelves allow me to keep all my collection in on case. As my collection grows I can purchase additional cases of the same beautiful quality with the confidence they will look great in my office.
