Fits our 16.2hh thoroughbred well. Have only used one time as a "hail mary" to keep some braids safe while our horse was turned out overnight . Can't say I recommend turning a horse out in this, but in our case no damage was done. If he rolled in it, there was no evidence, and he managed not to snag it on anything, thank goodness. It did not fully protect the braids. There were some that came unraveled overnight, but the majority were intact, and what I can attest to is that it did help to train his mane to stay down in that one use. We had been struggling with a mohawk for a while!
