Great Addition to Fenix 5S watch
This is icing on the cake for the Fenix 5S watch. This gives you the rest of the data to truly analyze your exercise especially running. It is easily paired with the watch and works great. Comfortable to run in even on 10+ mile runs.

Great product.
I read reviews that go both ways and I was hesitant to get this tracker, but, all my devices so far are from Garmin, I like their consistency and I decided to go for it and I'm happy I did. First of all, I have been training with this strap for over 30 hours in total and the batter is still going strong. The antenna feature works from a good distance even better than the trainer I have and so far it has never lost connection throughout my training. It is very comfortable, easy to clean (I take it with me to the shower and wash it with water and soap after every use) and the most important thing is that the strap stays in tact after it is dry and doesn't bend out of shape or wrinkles. I was able to connect it both to my watch and the computer through antenna simultaneously and the variable between my watch and the strap was insignificant. To be perfectly honest, I never changed a battery on it so I don't know how it will work after that but I took the protector off to see how hard it might be to do a battery change and it looks extremely simple, all you need is a set of mini screwdrivers and you are solid. (I will update my review once I change the battery) Bottom line, if you are looking for a strap that will work for the long run, this is definitely one of them, I'm very happy with it and I'm sure you will be too.

Fixed my drop out issue.
My older garmin was erratic and having dropouts so I took a chance with this new one hoping it would not only be a new toy with the running dynamics and swim metrics BUT fix the more consistent heart rate data with no dropouts. I wore it all day with zero dropouts. Glad I bought it.

Great HRM!
Love it. My old HRM died so I got this one; primarily for running and cycling but wanted the swim capability for triathlons. Used it on a race yesterday and it was great. Works as expected, very comfortable, easy to pair.

Great product
Small, slim, and very light. No issues with the strap sliding down my chest. Barely notice it is strapped on to me wether I’m working out or running indoor/outdoor. Have not tested it in the water. Connected to my Fenix 3hr without any issues. Would recommend based on what I’ve experienced so far.

Great Garmin Product.
I used to own a Wahoo TICKR that finally gave out on me. Since I own a Garmin Fenix 3, a garmin heart rate monitor seemed like an appropriate replacement. The HRM-Tri is phenomenal. It's super comfortable to wear and the running metrics are a valuable asset. With a snug enough fit, the HRM stays in place while swimming. There seems to be some misconceptions in regards to the difference between the HRM-Tri and the HRM swim. The band for the HRM-Swim is designed to withstand the harsh chemicals found in chlorinated swimming pools but is far less comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The HRM-Tri is designed to be worn for hours on end but will eventually deteriorate if used in swimming pools on a regular basis.

Works awesome, I hate to troll other reviewers but READ THE DESCRIPTION!!!! this does not communicate with the watch underwater it saves data and when the swim is over and you are out of the water it syncs the information to the watch for review, I can't believe some people are rating this product low because of that. It is small, comfortable and does not slip down while swimming, best if used under suit but not necessary.

Love it, much more comfortable the Garmin strap meant for the pool. This one has an elastic strap that stretches, the triathalon one is fine in the pool, but not comfortable for runs or bike rides. This one works in the pool, but doesn't sync while its under water. The second you raise your chest out of the water is syncs up (2 seconds tops). But the elastic strap isn't as good when pushing off the side of the pool in lap swims. You have to be careful how hard you push off.

This works great and was easy to connect/pair with my Garmin 920xt watch. I have only used this for biking and running because I have not had a chance to use it at a pool yet. This is comfortable and does come with an extra strap in case it is too small.

A Great Solution For The Elusive Reliable HRM While Swimming
Works just as advertised and is a good solution for swimming – until the holy grail of live-while-swimming HRM arrives – especially when paired with a Garmin device (I use 920XT). The shipping documentation (as opposed to the pre-purchase marketing documentation) discourages pool swimming because of the effects of chlorine on the band, but I shower after every swim and I just leave the HRM on and wash it with gentle soap. I have seen no unusual deterioration after a few months of pool swims.
