Packaging: comes in a nice small little package with the small tool to tighten the clamp onto your desk, shelf, etc... Item: the product is self looks to be made of good study quality; i really like the curvature of where the headphone sits. Other holders are flat, which can potentially leave a crease in your headphone. Clamp can easily be moved anywhere without having to involve any adhesives. Max clamp size seems to be approximately 45mm as others have said. You can mount horizontal or vertical surfaces. Price: A bit pricey just to hold your headphone when generally you can get or make something into a form of a hook and it should suffice. But if however, you like the quality of things as well as its aesthetics, not to mention that you can move the clamp around without using any of that sticky nonsense. Overall: Very pleased with the product. I plan to get more as my little small collection of headphone grows.

The product arrives in impressive packaging, and on inspection looks like you have just received a scientific precision piece of equipment. It works exactly as it should. In my case it was mountable just using bare hands, there is an accompanying hexagonal wrench/screwdriver which makes the job very simple. The hexagonal wrench end allows you to do some micro-adjustments should you decide to alter the hanging. It can park, in my case only 1 Headphone. I would have liked to pay lower than $13, but then I could have chosen not to buy it, so that the price drives down. Suggestion for the Product: The clamp could include some padding to decrease the chances of marring furniture permanently. The hanging ledge on which you hang the headphone, should have an outer raised edge to prevent the Head phone to slip off its hanger, should you be using this Desk Hanger in turbulent North seas aboard a Lobster fishing trawler.

Very well built. Within just a view days of purchasing my headphone hanger, I was lowering my motorized desk when the hanger got caught on a doggie gate I'd hurriedly tucked next to the desk. The downward motion of the desk and hanger connecting with our solid wood-framed doggie gate, at first looked like it might be the end of the hanger, as something had to give. I stopped the desk as soon as I realized what was happening. The hanger had been forced upward by the gate, but only the top of the clip (the portion that sits on top of the desk) was slightly bent as a result. Amazingly, neither the gate nor the desk sustained any noticeable damage. Wrapping the hanger in a towel and grasping the clips with pliers, I was, with a fair amount of force, able to return the hanger to what appears to be its original condition. The only noticeable change in performance is that I have to ensure I'm applying pressure to the clips as I tighten them from below, otherwise the hanger tends to slip. Once I manage to get it tight, it's as good as new.

Well designed, properly functional. This device allowed me to get the headphones off of the desk. I have the headphone stands, but with the Wacom, drawing pad, legal pad, keyboard, mouse, iPad, iPhone, and junk, I just need to recover the desk space form one less item. I also like that once out of sight, the Sennheisers are no longer a temptation for visitors to my office. I long ago lost speakers as you can't enjoy the classics without volume, and you can't enjoy volume with staff so, headphones it is. But the headphones get worn from sitting and the cords have to be managed. The stand is good, but its one more thing to move to the side of the dual monitors and one more thing eating desk space. Probably not the solution for everyone but the perfect solution for me. As I said, its solid, well built, usefully adjustable and once clamped and set it looks right, and holds the headphones with style.

Using a headphone hanger is a quick and easy way to keep your desk setup organized and you might even gain a couple of style points for it as well. This headphone hanger by Brainwavz definitely gets the job done. It’s very versatile (see pictures) which helps to make it work with pretty much any desk setup and the price for it is nothing short of spectacular. The real benefit of using a headphone hanger over a headphone stand is that you get to clear up some space on your desk while also having your “cans” within reach. The only drawback to this product would have to be that it doesn’t have a lip at the end of it which can help prevent your headphones from sliding off. This hasn’t been an issue for me, personally, so I did not mark down a star for it but it might be something to consider depending on the dimensions of your headphones. This is a very handy product and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient way to store your favorite pair of cans! This headphone mount is perfect for my new desk setup. I had bought everything at once before i moved into my new apt. for my new desk/room setup bought everything new to the smallest details, so I really wanted to get a new headphone mount. If your trying to conserve some desk space and don't really want to get a headphone "Stand", but still making your setup look clean as possible this mount from Brainwavs would be a perfect addition! Its very sleek looking with its semi matte black style, high quality paint with accents of silver hardware gives it a professional looking contrast. Thing mount is low profile so when your doing things around your work area it wont get caught on stuff. The only thing that kind of surprised me is the 'Size'. It's a little smaller than depicted in the picture. You can change or adjust the clamp from a Vertical grip or to a Horizontal Grip to accommodate your desired mounting position, and has a small nut/washer thing at the bottom to tighten the grip. There is some soft padding in the inside of the 'inner' clamps (the part where it would physically be touching your desk) to help prevent scratches or damaging. I use HyperX 'Cloud Revolver's' for headphones and sits perfecting on top of the contoured band rest. With some standing hp stands in general i hear many people complain, as myself that the part where your head band rest tends to make marks on their expensive headphones, But with these would not be an issue, of how smooth and contoured they are to accommodate the shape of most traditional headphone bands, either memory foam or whatever material. So overall the Brainwavz Hengja are a Sleek great, Cleeeann looking mount to add to your setup, just killing it in both function and aesthetics this was a must have for me especially with its fair pricing and as expected love everything about it so far.

Great little hanger for a headphone geek like me who has way more headphones (5 in this room) than space on my desk. The metal construction on these make them way more appealing than some of the cheaper plastic ones that are almost the same price. Once it’s tightened and secured into place it doesn’t move at all (unless you have it a bit loose like I do to adjust placement). This feature was also more appealing to me than the stick on ones since 1) if you don’t place it in the exact spot you want it, at least you can move it, and 2) you don’t have to deal with the double sided tape residue that those would leave behind. I live in a rather humid climate, so the ones that attach with double stick tape generally fall off at some point. With these guys, however, I don’t need to worry about that. Not sure what else to say about them otherwise. Great buy for an excellent price (I got mine priced at under $10 for the lightening deal). The ONLY suggestion I have for brainwavz is that it would be nice if the tightening mechanism was a part of the hanger, like a wing nut or something along those lines. The screw device is a bit awkward to operate, and I tend to lose separate tightening devices like the one that came with this. Minor gripe though.

It's the best headphone hanger ever. +It's *really* secure. Trying rip it off the desk without unscrewing it might break my desk - which is a commercial-grade 3/4" thick wooden desk from Bush Furniture. So it's not going anywhere unless I want it to. Works on desks, shelves, and coat hangers (but I don't recommend using it on coat hangers). +The fit and finish is extremely luxurious. I have pro-grade audio equipment and pro-grade monitor stands with inferior paint jobs, screws and threads. This product has got me re-thinking my standards for other products I've bought, because this thing raises the bar. +At first I didn't like how it attached to the table, because I wanted a headphone stand. Now I love it more because it's more versatile, and along with clamping on my desk, it can clamp to microphone extension bars to make my microphone desk stand into a height-adjustable headphone stand, with just the price of one of these to add a second, third, or eighth one. (So it's a useful upgrade feature if you're the DIY kind of guy.) +Doesn't change the profile of the memory foam headband on my headphone, due to its gentle curve. Also, doesn't scratch the plastic of my HD558's. +For under 30$, nothing touches this headphone hanger, not even headphone stands. -You must own a flathead screwdriver to loosen it up and tighten it up again. Although a butter knife will work too. -The above con was the only thing I could come up with. Really.

I ended up having to unscrew the adjustable clamp - my desk is an Ikea desk and it just barely fits inside the bracket without the clamp. The product comes with an L wrench that has a flathead fused to one end. Not a bad idea, since the clamp requires a flathead to tighten and loosen it. Overall, yes, I think I would prefer having a lip on the end of the headphone rest as many people have complained. But if that's the case, spend the extra $15 for the other kinds of headphone hooks out there. For me, the product is more solid than I expected, and it holds my Fostex TH-X00 perfectly. Of course there are ways this product could be BETTER, but for the price I paid, the build quality and value is just right. I feel like I could hang something much heavier than a pair of headphones (not that I would try, it's only rated for holding headphones). The important thing is that it definitely feels solid like something built all from metal should feel, without the cheap, plastic feel other hooks might have. The fact that it's a clamp and therefore reusable is what convinced me to buy it in the first place, rather than the other kinds out there that use adhesive. No matter how strong the adhesive, eventually it's going to break its bond. I feel much safer knowing that it would take metal fatigue for this clamp to fail, and even then, it would have to be because something was exerting a ton of force on it. Would definitely buy again and highly recommend to people on the fence: I mean, I felt like "If it's $15 am I gonna wish I had just spent a little more to get a slightly better on?" 100% happy with my choice, no regrets.

This is a superior made product. I was looking for something that was good quality, and not cheaply made - and this item certainly fits that need for me. I'm impressed with it's construction, and ease of mounting. I was also very pleasantly surprised to see the manufacturer include a tool to tighten / loosen the adjusting screw mount plate (or whatever it's called), and the hex bolt on the front. This item is actually smaller in person, than what is shown in the pictures. This is actually something I was concerned about, because I didn't want a large piece of metal protruding off of my desk. However, I then became concern that due to the small profile of the metal rest, my headset wouldn't fit. I've included a picture to show how my Logitech G35 fits on it. I've read other reviews here that griped about, and were concerned about their headset falling off of the rest. However, my mounting surface is level & balanced... so I don't have this issue. I also think that this can be easily rectified by placing some rubber or felt on the surface to prevent any slippage. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I wanted a very good quality headset hanger, and Brainwavz certainly delivered. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on future products by this company going forward. Two thumbs up!
