Perfect craft for a 5 year old!

I purchased this for my 5yr old for Christmas. It was definitely a hit! She did it all by herself and had no problems at all following the directions. The pieces are pretty sticky so once they go on, they don't really come off unless you pull them off yourself. It kept her entertained and she was thrilled with the outcome. We have it hanging in a window that gets full sun all day and it hasn't faded or show any sign of wear. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a fun craft for your little person!

Perfect gift for a young crafter.

I bought one of these for my niece in the past and she had such a great time sticking all the pieces on that I wanted to get one for my craft loving 5 year old. I had to help her with the first few pieces and then she caught on pretty quickly and did the rest herself. She loves it and was super proud of herself when it was finished! Instead of hanging it in her room (which was the initial plan) she decided to hang it out in the living room, so all the neighbors can see it. Can't wait to get her some more!

So cute and easy

Melissa & Doug products are always the best, and this one doesn't disappoint. My daughter is obsessed with unicorns, and we gave this to her for a birthday gift. She opened it immediately and loves putting the stickers on the plastic. I love it because it's a project she can manage independently, and she gains so much confidence. The stickers are very easy to use and easy to reposition if the child makes a mistake. I buy one of these stained glass sets every time I see it on a lightning deal. They make great gifts!

Quality Item

Purchase this one and the rainbow one for my 7 year old daughter. She loved them. She was able to create the item herself in about 10 minutes and loves having them hang on her bedroom window. While this is not truly stained glass but stickers it still reflects light and lets colors through like you would imagine from a young kids craft item. My only concern would be string that holds it up but so far 2+ months in they haven't come untied.

My niece loved it

Bought this as interactive Christmas gift my niece and sister could do together and they absolutely rave about it my niece is four so she had no problem at all using the sicker the complete picture hangs in her window now

Super fun craft. Got these for a bday party activity for my 7yo. All her friends loved it. My younger daughter was doing it right alongside the big girls and had a great time with it. It looks lovely in the window.

Suitable for young children, probably 5 years and younger

This kit is well made, in terms of sticker cut-outs matching size and shape of design outline on pane. I don’t have a lot of confidence in the holding power of the adhesive and anticipate that other glue will be needed to re-attach pieces over time. That is not a big deal for me, as it needs to be safe for kids to work with and a stronger glue could be dangerous for them. My niece, who just turned 7, finished this piece in a few minutes without any assistance and was not challenged in any way (read: not as much fun/boring). Definitely this is better for younger kids. The items hangs from an included ribbon (you have to tie it on) and suction cup hook. The finished piece looks really cute in the kitchen window catching the sunlight.

Fun project

My 4 year old loved this. I got another one for my other kiddo (6) and it had a wooden frame, so if you are getting a few and want them to match, pay attention to that part of the description. My 4 year old hung in there for almost the whole project. My 6 year old finished and wanted another one. It came with a cute suction cup and we could hang them up right away. Very cute and a fun project.

Simple, easy art project

Very easy for my 5 year old to do on her own. She did complete it quicker than I had hoped (less than 5 minutes), but she enjoyed making her art project. We’ve had it hanging on a glass door for several months now, and there is no noticeable fading of the colors.
