I bought my brother the Adidas Team Speed Small Duffel which is a great bag for weekend trips and gym goers. I am about to go on a 10 day international trip, though, and wanted a durable duffel bag that offered more space. I ended up choosing this one, and so far I like what I see. The exterior is stronger synthetic material that won't snag on hooks and can definitely take a beating. I bought the Medium, which is a perfect size extended trips. It doesn't feel small like the other duffel, but it's also not uncomfortably long like some bags. I bet you could sneak it on as a carry-on, but I'll be checking luggage anyway. The zippers feel very secure, and there are plenty of side pockets for small items. The shoe pocket is a plus if you want to throw in your running shoes or whatever. Again, I am using this for travel purposes but I'll probably use it for larger gym gear in the future. The strap is comfortable and can be removed easily. The grey and maroon styling is classy, making the bag look more professional than gym worn. If you're a coach and want to look good on the road, then you may be interested. My only gripe, like most of the other reviews, is the bag's actual dimensions versus what the tag says. Measuring from the base, the length is maybe 23 inches long. Whoever makes their tags needs to buy a new ruler. I like the size, though, so I'm not worried about it. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase. I've backed enough clothes for more than a week (plus an extra pair of shoes) with room to spare. Adidas is solid brand so I'd trust them over random Amazon sellers. UPDATE 5/1/17 The bag worked perfectly for the trip and will fit as a carry-on, assuming you don't pack dumbbells. Amazing bag, can't wait to use again.

I really like this bag, overall. It's pretty good quality. The top inside part doesn't have that terrible plastic coating on it, which is good! The straps have plastic rings.. I hope they don't ever break. It seems like a great duffel though. It doesn't have a structured bottom, so be aware of that. It looks slouchy when you're carrying it. I got the small maroon one and it's really pretty :) I do CrossFit and it'll definitely be more than enough room for all my junk. Shoes, towel, shower stuff, change of clothes, socks, wraps, water, shaker, etc.

I've owned previous iterations of these large gym duffel bags from Adidas and it takes a stupid amount of abuse to make them tear...and even then they might hold up fine as long as the zipper is intact. I'm currently able to load almost 60lbs worth of stuff onto an 8 year old bag missing the stitching on both handles. The shoulder strap is still in perfect shape (and I've used it way more than the handles) and the zipper has dealt with some dicey situations such as memory foam pillows being squished into the bag and the bag itself being crushed into awkward spots with plenty of weight on top. After looking at this new bag before and after loading it, I can already tell it's extremely likely to hold up just as well as my old one

This bag is awesome and I got it within 1 day! Absolutely love the shoe compartment! Love the little pouch towards the back for storing valueables! The “small” is perfect for everyday use at the gym. I was turning a lot of heads when i used it in the locker room because people usually have those cheap string pouches and can barely fit anything. You don’t know how much you need a duffel until you have one xD especially if you go to a nice gym like LA fitness and use the pool, whirlpool, and showers! So good, i had to get my brother one too! This one is also the male version of the Squad III. I liked the squad 3 but it was made for women. I mean just look at their color options :/ but glad i found this one.

Good size, fits my shoes in the "wet" compartment. Has an internal zip bag for keys, coins, or stuff from your pockets. End mesh bag is convenient for things you want to have quick access to. Front zip compartment is nice to separate toiletries. I don't use the shoulder strap but it has a nice one for those that want one. Zips work well, don't catch and provide good access to all compartments. Blue color is pretty nice. It's not overly big like some gym bags; this will hold your clothes, shoes, towel, some extra gear like gloves, or a workout journal, toiletries and such without being a huge bag that doesn't fit in lockers. Fits most lockers just fine.

This is a very, very nice bag. Enough space for packing for a male who doesn't not over pack. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband. The color combo is very nice and the bag is very good quality. I had purchased another bag for this purpose and it ended up being too small so I adopted it as a tech bag for myself. But this is going to be perfect for jeans, slacks, tees, socks, undies and the basics on needs when traveling. Not to big and not to small. Just right. So I can highly recommend it and am very happy with it.

I've been looking for a swim bag for my son that has a separate shoe bag from its main compartment. A bag that has ample room for his parka, towel, change of clothes, shoes, toiletries. I wish it was built with a secret pocket inside where you can keep your wallet and valuables. So when you leave your bag unattended on swim practices, your valuables are safe. He loves the padded shoulder strap and just the right length of handles to carry on your hand, without touching the ground.

I was looking around for a good everyday gym/sport bag to carry around a change of clothes and extra shoes and the usual other things (deodorant, etc.) I initially bought the adidas speed team bag, which I really liked, I bought the medium size and it was huge. I got it from a department store but came home to read the reviews online and a lot of people had issue with the inner top lining crumbling off into the bag over time. While reading that review and checking the bag, the bag did sort of feel like it had some sort of grippy rubber coating on that inner upper flap. So I returned it. If I'm going to drop $30 - $40 on a bag, I want it to last a while. After reading reviews on countless other branded bags, everything had some kind of complaint, so I went to the adidas website to see which was their newest duffel bag, because surely they wouldn't put that coating on their newest bag, just so happened this bag was listed there as a new item so I figured I would order it and give it a shot. I ordered it small this time because the other model was so huge in a medium. First thing I checked was the inner upper flap, it seems to be uncoated nylon on the inside, which is good! The bag was a perfect size for what I had in mind, shoes and some clothes. The overall quality feels pretty good, seems to have a better structure than the previous team speed model I tried. The bottom lining of the bag really does feel pretty durable, very thick, but only time will tell. The shoe compartment is nice and the vented part of it seems like they really reinforced it this time. It has a double lining of standard mesh on the outside and a sort of elastic mesh on the inside, making it feel like it wont tear easy. The big side pocket is pretty standard for any side pocket on bags. The pictures I took are showing size 13 shoes next to the bag, inside the bag and how much space it takes up inside the bag, which is just enough room for some clothes and other small equipment. If you need more room, I'd suggest going wit ha medium or large. I apologize for the flash on the shoes, the lighting is bad in my apartment and it was too blurry without it.

This duffel bag is great. I currently have a pair of running shoes, typical tennis shoes, and a slim pair of shoes for leg day in the shoe compartment. In the main compartment, I usually have two ankle straps, a notebook, two knee braces, and a change of clothes. There's a little zipper pouch inside that works perfectly to store my wedding rings and a zipper pouch on the front which is the length of the bag that I keep my iPod, headphones, phone, and resistance band in. There is only one water bottle pouch but it holds my gym card and keys in addition to a water bottle so I don't really need one on the other side. The shoulder pad is nice because it has a cloth side and a rubber/plastic side for when I'm extremely sweaty and don't want to soak the padded side but I can also carry it by the handles if needed. It seems to be of good quality and aesthetically it's got funky zippers and a neat color combination.

This is a really basic but durable and well designed duffel with a lifetime warranty (something I didn't realize when I bought it). I have the small size which is large enough to fit in shoes, work clothes, various gym toiletries, gloves, basic first aid (i.e. kinetic tape) and really anything else I'd need without seeming overly large. The material seems heavy enough to last and the zippers appear to be appropriately heavy (time will tell), but even if it doesn't the warranty should cover it. The vented wet/dirty clothes compartment is something I desperately needed since I sweat a lot and go to the gym before work. So far it does seem to help things dry out a bit more. Overall, it is exactly what I expected at this price point: a nice basic bag that should last.
