These are heavy, high quality measuring spoons. I haven't had any trouble fitting them in jars or leveling the spices. The handles are longer than any of my previous measuring spoons, and that makes these easier to fit inside jars and bottles. The only annoying thing so far is that they're so heavy and when you're holding a giant wad of them and trying to use one to scoop something, you've got this big clanging weight hanging off the end of your hand. I might separate them and keep them somewhere where it's easy for me to pick out the one I want. I also found that because there are so many options here (3/4 teaspoon? really?) that it takes me a little bit longer to identify the one I want. Before, I could easily visually ID the right spoon and grab it. I'll live. These are beautiful. I like them.

Wow. I've owned many types of measuring spoons over the years, but these are the best quality I've ever seen. They are made of a high caliber stainless steel, which is much sturdier than typical plastic or aluminum measuring spoons. They feel great in my hands and have a lovely, glossy appearance. This set comes with a convenient ring holding the spoons together which can easily be pinched open to release the individual spoons, if you so desire (a picture illustrating how to do this is on the box the set comes in). This is also a very handy set of six different sizes of measuring spoons, including: 1 tablespoon, 1 teaspoon, 3/4 teaspoon, 1/2 teaspoon, 1/4 teaspoon, and 1/8 teaspoon. As advertised, they have a slim shape which can slide into narrow spice jars, unlike typical, round measuring spoons. These measuring spoons would make a terrific gift. They comes in an attractive box, and each spoon is carefully encased in an individual plastic wrapper to prevent scratching during shipping.

These were suggested on a cooking blog that I follow. It’s frustrating to try to dig spices from jars with conventional round spoons. Try pouring into the spoon and you have spice spilled all over your counter. These narrow shaped spoons reach easily into the jars for ease of measurement and less waste. The material finish isn’t quite as fine as some other spoons that I own, sand I’ve deducted a star for that. Otherwise a very good idea for the home cook.

I'm very satisfied with these measuring spoons. They're easy to use in any kind of container. I was a little concerned about the ring but getting the spoon I want is actually easier with it than with the beaded chain on our other newer spoons (from a local specialty shop) because the chain keeps getting tangled and has already broken once. Good cooking requires reasonably accurate measurements of salt, spices, etc. Responding to my query, the maker says these are tested for accuracy periodically and are required to be within +/- 5%, which is plenty close enough for my cooking. I had noticed that our other newer spoons obviously held different quantities than our really old stamped aluminum spoons. Being a retired mechanical engineer, I had to check this out. Using salt as a test material, I found that the other newer spoons held from half as much to nearly twice as much as the stamped aluminum spoons. Not knowing which ones were right, I decided to buy a third set. Many of the spoon sets shown on Amazon look just like our other newer spoons, so I ruled them out. The wider handles on these spoons showed that they are a different design. Sure enough, these agreed more closely with the old aluminum ones than with the other newer ones.. These spoons have vertical sides all the way around, which makes it much easier to get the amount you thought you were getting. Getting those vertical sides requires more stamping dies, which means they have to go through more manufacturing processes, which in turn meant they cost more to make. The handles being wider at the end makes them more stable to hold, avoiding spilling, but making them wider also uses more material and is at least a complication in the stamping dies if not elsewhere in the manufacturing process. In spite of these costs, they are about the same price as all the others. The key differences are 1) these are much more accurate than the competitors and 2) being stainless steel, dishwashing detergent won't eat them like it does aluminum.

For years, I have wondered why measuring spoons rarely fit the containers whose contents you were trying to measure. The spoons would not go into spice jars for instance except for the very small spoon sizes. I had to constantly try to keep from pouring the contents of containers over the counter tops while filling the measuring spoons. Finally! A set of measuring 'spoons' which are rectangular. These spoons actually fit into my spice containers. The spoons are well made of stainless steel and appear to be the last set of spoons I will ever need to purchase. The set contains an unusual size: a 2 teaspoon as well as the small 1/8 teaspoon.

These measuring spoons are excellent. Well-made, easy to clean, fit into what you need 'em to fit into. They do the job. The engraving on them is clear and easy to read. If you're considering the purchase, go for it. You'll be happy. In the several months of use since my purchase, I have noticed only two minor negative points, neither of which have anything to do with the actual measuring spoons: 1) The seller is one of those sellers that will email you relentlessly for a few days after you purchase asking you to review them, despite the fact that you have barely had a chance to use the product and see if it's any good or not. Just ignore them until you've had a chance to use the product and realize that yes, it is actually very good and deserves a five-star review. 2) The spoons are great, but the ring that holds them together is lousy. When you go to use one of the spoons that's connected to the ring, the weight of the other spoons pulls the ring open and the spoons you're not using fall free and scatter everywhere. That's okay. Either swap out the ring for something sturdier or just keep the spoons separate. They're a great product and the ring is a minor point.

These are really nice, sturdy measuring spoons. I'm pretty picky about my kitchen equipment and I'm impressed with the quality. I didn't think I could find much to say about measuring spoons, but there are several nice touches worth mentioning. The shape really does fit into small spice bottles. The markings are nicely engraved and easy to read. The spoons are marked in teaspoons as well as ML. Very few measuring spoon sets come with a 3/4 teaspoon, but this one has it. Another nice touch is the ring that holds them all together: it's a hinged ring that can easily be opened and closed to allow use of the spoons individually without the others dangling. Very nice.

I think this is our fifth overall set of measuring spoons (one can never have enough) but these are amazing. They are made out of stainless steel, one solid piece, and do indeed fit into spice jars. I'd been looking for another set and frustrated that not one spoon out of my other sets would fit in the spice jars aside from a 1/2 tsp or smaller. These get the job done. Also, equally pleased that each spoon is made out of one solid piece of steel - no glue, welding or screws; which, is needed because somehow otherwise my husband seems to break things. Don't hesitate, just click buy now.

I can't love these any more! They are great quality and fit in all my spice jars! I can't believe I was in my 40's before I thought to buy these, they make cooking so much easier. I have already purchased 2 more of these for gifts and have 2 more in my cart for upcoming housewarming gifts. I am even buying them for everyone in my family this xmas. My husband thinks I am a bit crazy because I keep telling people about these and purchasing them, but they make great inexpensive gifts and so far everyone I have given them to has been extremely happy about them!

I am very happy with my measuring spoons. I like the fact that they are nice and sturdy ant the shape seems to makes it easier to fit into some of the spice containers. I had bought enough some heavier stainless steel measuring cups with longer handles previously and love them. Hence that is why I looked for heavier measuring spoons. Yours caught my attention because of the shape. I am very happy with them. I am a grandmother who lets my grand kids bake and cook with me. No more breaking the plastic ones and bending of the thin metal ones.
