I have bought many many different types of lightning cables and from many different sellers for my phones and ipads. Most of them are just so so. They either charge slow, died or stop charging after few months. Anker PowerLine Lightning (10ft) cable is the one I like the most. It's still working well for me after 10 months. It charges fast and very reliable. It works on iPhone 5s, iPhone 6s, iPads. I just bought another one few days ago to replace a another defected cables that I got from other sellers. Recommended!

I bought one of these back in April 2016 and have been using it ever since. One of the first things I did was put it on a USB power meter to validate that it gives the device a full power charge and this cable does not disappoint! 1.95 Amps to an iPad, 0.95 Amps to an iPhone. There are MANY after market lightning cables that do not provide full power and most people won't know why or be able to quantify the charging rate as they don't have the equipment necessary to test & measure performance, so buyer beware. I haven't tried to break the cable - I want to use it, not see how much it takes to break it. It is a little thicker and less flexible than a standard Apple cable so it seems like it will last longer, but time will tell. If you need a longer cable with more durability and full charging, skip the Apple cable and get this one - pocket the extra $20 you saved.

Please see update. I’ve become quite a fan of Anker. Their Bluetooth speakers. But the best thing is their proactive customer service in the rare instance of a problem. When this cable began to fray (any product run can contain an occasional lulu) they had it replaced and in my hand within two biz days. As always, thanks, Anker. Sad update: My original cable began to fray around the lightning connector in less than a year. Ankerr, as usual with their excellent customer service, kindly replaced it. Now only a few months later the same thing has happened again, in exactly the same place. Happier update and star revision: Anker again stepped in and sent me an improved model of the cable. Not only is it encouraging to see such proactive customer service (they contacted me; thank you, Betty) but to know they've gone to the trouble to make right what was wrong with the cable design itself. This is the Anker whose products and support have made me a fan.

Picked up two of the 10ft cables to charge at home since the iPhone 7 doesn't have a headphone jack and I need to answer the phone while charging. I didn't want to be bent on my desk talking because of my 3ft charging cable. First thing I noticed when I took them out of the box is how thick the cable is compared to a 3ft Anker powerline (older cable, not sure which generation) cable I have had. I wouldn't want to keep this 10ft cable in my bag. The thickness makes it less flexible. For home it is perfect though. I am including a picture compared to another Anker cable I have. My biggest concern with any charging cable is if the phone heats up while charging. Very happy to report that my phone stayed cool the whole charging cycle. Very happy with the purchase for $12 each. I have bought many Anker cables before and have always been happy. They have sent me products in the past to review but I paid full price for these and didn't receive any benefit. I continue to buy them for their quality, customer service (I have had to replace a few products before, zero issues), and their 18 month warranty.

This cable is really long and has a solid feel to it, unlike some other cables. That said, this cable stopped working for me after about 10 months. It refused to stay connected, either to a power supply or a computer. It would constantly keep disconnecting and reconnecting. I reached out the Anker since they have such a long warranty period and they responded within a day and quickly sent me a replacement with no questions asked. The next week I had the new cable and it's been working great. I will always buy Anker because they always support their products without fail!

Great quality cables. Don't buy the cheap, off-brand junk cables that fail to charge anything after a few months. With the off-brand junk cables, after a while you end up having to wrap the cables around your phone/ipad, or set them in a certain position, just to get the device to charge. I've gone through so many off-brand cables that wouldn't even last 6 months - I've probably spent more money on the junk cables than I would have if I just bought these Anker cables to begin with. Get these cables that will last years (if you take care of them, of course); they definitely can't be beat.

Anker, once again, makes great phone accessory products. I bought this PowerLine Lightning cable to pair up with my Anker 2-Port 24W USB Wall Charger and both works great. Unlike the Apple lightning cable, this lightning cable feels very strong and durable. Apple is known to make filmsy ends of their cables, which has a tendency to tear after heavy usage. Anker, on the other hand, understands their consumers and built this with the highest quality and re-enforced materials! I'm glad Anker makes long cables so users don't have to be tied to one location to use and charge their phones at the same time. My cable connects to the wall charger underneath my work desk and still has enough length for me to neatly tuck it along the side of my wall cube and right next to my keyboard where I can charge and use my phone simultaneously. PROS: • Lengthy cable • Very durable ends, wont easily disconnect from plug • 100% compatible with all my iPhone devices, no "This cable or accessory is not certified" messages • Thick and strong plastic outer wire covering • Above and Beyond customer service • Connector fits snugly into iPhone's charging port CONS: • A bit more expensive than I expected, but worth the price!

With my girlfriend going into the hospital for surgery, I knew that she would be spending a couple days in the hospital and would want her phone/iPad to stay charged. Being that the Apple charging cable is not sufficiently long enough to reach to a hospital bed with any comfort, I started researching reviews on who made a good quality cable that was also going to meet my length needs. Anker cables were highly rated by some sources that I have found to be highly credible, so I ordered two. The construction of these cable is of high quality and I believe surpasses the Apple Cable quality. I chose Red so that the cable would no blend in wit the hospital sheets and would not be easily mistaken for something else. Naturally, I had to buy me one too. When using this cable, my phone charges at the same speed if not a bit faster than the factory cables. A great addition to this cable is the cable management wraps that are included. When you don't need the whole 10 feet of cable, just simply adjust the velcro straps and keep the excess cable neatly wrapped up. I would definitely buy these cables again.

Updating my review. I thought I had updated this already so my apologies to the seller. And thank you very much to the seller for replacing the cable which was defective. The replacement is great and I would highly recommend this seller and their product! Thank you for resolving the issue and again, I deeply apologize for the delay in my updating my customer experience!! I’ve had this 3 months and from the first week it was starting g to look like it was trying to separate ar the point where it broke. I tried putting electrical tape around it to reinforce it before it broke . It didn’t help. It just made it sticky and collect cat hair ( which probably held it together longer than it would have without the cat hair!) I guess I don’t need my iPad charged the risk of electrocution or a house fire.

I have several of Anker's products because I know I can depend on their quality and terrific service. I had purchased another brand's 10' lightning cord that was the braided style as it was the Rose Gold color that matched my iPhone and found it stiff and awkward to roll up for storage. The wires inside finally broke despite trying to be careful not to bend the cord excessively. It then occurred to me that I had purchased some shorter lightning and usb to micro cords from Anker to use in my shop and found them covered with a hardy, yet very flexible outside covering designed to be bendable! Also comes with 2 great velcro bands to keep the cord tidy after rolling it up to the desired size and the extra durable plug-ins fit in all the various cases I have on my Apple products.
