This watch is amazing. My daughter's favourite features are the speed counter (which tells you if you run as fast as a rabbit, snail etc.) and the camera with which she takes covert photos of relatives while they are eating, picking their nose etc. A wonderful tool to introduce children to technology and also promotes physical activity.

I bought this item as a gift for my 4 years old daughter. She really loves it! To my surprise I didn't even go through all of the games or apps on this watch but my 4 years old, figured it out how to used it! She even tell me "mommy listen this watch tell you what time it is!" And she found out how to use the camera, she recorded herself by singing frozen and also found the apps running she was running inside the house and I ask her "why are you running?" she said " because I am doing what's in my watch there is a running game!" Thank goodness a good replacement for my phone. Great product!

I bought this for a 5 year old girl, my grandaughter, she learned how to operate the games, video, taking photos within an hour. She doesn't go anywhere without it. : ) Great gift

My daughter had wanted this for Christmas. I wasn't going to get it for her because I'm not a huge fan of toys that give you more screen time, but I decided to get it. It's a huge hit, probably her favorite present. I'm glad I bought it, she has shown responsibility by putting it away in the evenings and making sure she doesn't play on it to long. She's so cute, she will tell her siblings "you can play with it, but only for ten minutes because it's not good for your brains to be on it to long!" I like that it has parental controls so that if you need to limit the time, you can.

I brought this for my daughter for Christmas. This is her favorite gift! I thought it would be bulky, but she says it's very comfortable. She loves to take pictures, record her voice and play the little games. They are simple games in nature, but she loves them. She doesn't ever want to take it off.

This is the perfect watch for an elementary school aged child! My daughter shrieked when she saw the watch in person- pictures just don't do it justice. Between taking pictures, videos, and voice recordings and all of the educational games the watch has to offer, we couldn't have asked for a better watch for her. It was so nice to see her practicing her math skills on the watch last night. It is very durable and resilient, which is perfect for an eight year old, as well. Honestly, we've purchased several similar watches for her, and this watch blows the others away!!!

This year, we bought both of our daughters "Smartwatch" type devices for Christmas. For our younger daughter (3) we bought the LeapFrog LeapBand Activity Tracker, Pink and for our older daughter (9) we bought this Kidizoom DX. After comparing them both, I absolutely should have just bought two of these. My daughter loves it even more than I was expecting. The build quality seems great, the battery has so far been lasting all day (she charges it overnight) and the interface is extremely easy to understand and navigate. She likes all the different watch faces and loves to track how much she's moved during the day (I especially like that she can start the pedometer and set a goal and then leave it running in the background while she uses other features of the watch). The included games are simplistic but I didn't expect anything super fancy...she plays them in the car or whatever...just to kill time every now and then. Unlike the LeapBand, this watch didn't require us to first download any software to our computer and sync it...it worked right out of the box. Once the Vtech store is back online, it'll be interesting to see what downloadable content is available but even if there wasn't anything...we'd still be happy with the watch as is. My only complaint or feature request would be that I wish there was the option to disable the camera button on the side of the watch. She's already had an issue where she bends her wrist in such a way that she hits that button, then every time the screen gets touched it takes a picture...so she ends up having to delete tons of photos of her coat, or walls, or the floor...that kind of thing. Not really that big of a deal but I wish I could just turn that button off.

My 5 year old grandson got this for xmas. He opened the package (by far the hardest operation) and started playing games and taking pictures before everyone else was finished opening. Of course he's a gifted child, everyone's grandchild is gifted so no worries there. I would say the watch is very intuitive for kids so they pick it up very quickly. Fortunately it came fully charged, and he wore it all day. He took surprisingly good pictures of everyone, and Granny is going to download some to save. Excellent gift.

Great smart watch. Got this for my daughter for her 8th birthday. She was instantly able to set it up and use it before i could even help her. Within a couple weeks she was telling me her friends were coming to school with the same watch because people liked hers so much.

WHAT HAVE I DONE, I HAVE TURNED MY KIDS INTO ZOMBIES!!! They love this watch. Its fun, I have had to limit the amount of time they spend on them as they seem to zone the world out while playing on them. Regardless, it packs a lot of little features that kids really find fun. My favorite part and the kids are the fitness games on the watch. The little guys work so hard to achieve their goals. It will count your steps and activity during a game and tell you what kind of an animal you are like.
