I've used Norton for easily 15+ years and cant say I've had any issues with the product or service. Desk top and mobile, I surf the web knowing Norton has my back and if there is a threat, I'm alerted and can take action or I am alerted action has already been taken. The mobile side is where I think Norton is best used for me, on top of most PC features you get: locate your device, lock your device, wipe it clean, lock apps with a pass code ... just a few features I use. The ability to lock individual apps is essential to anyone who doesn't centrally lock their device or wants another layer of protection. My devices are locked with a password to deny access but if you beat the Android security you now have to defeat the Norton access to apps I secure with a password. Pictures, banking, social apps, where do I stop? Secure all of them with a Norton passcode. Studies found people who find lost devices will search for pictures/video first, followed by financial information. What do you have on your device? My devices are locked from the start but Norton has my back on the second level and beyond.

Great price for 10 device protection. You can now update/renew remotely once you set up each device on your norton account. When the device goes online, which you can also see from the dashboard, you can renew the subscription with the key and the other person doesn't have to do anything on their end. It's great if you have kids in school or older parents who you help with tech stuff, etc. I would suggest labeling each device as you go when you do the initial set-up (mom's computer, joe's ipad etc) so you can quickly tell what needs to be renewed and who has that device. Norton has always worked well for my family and we particularly like the identity safe feature that manages the passwords.

I've been using Norton Security (aka Norton Internet Security) for many, many years. Actually, it's the only computer security product that I've used in all of my years of computer ownership. This should tell you something...I've never, ever had a virus on any of the computers that I've owned. Years ago, it did tend to slow my computer a bit, but over the last five or six years, great improvement with no slowdown whatsoever! Thank you, Symantec, for making the web a much safer place. By the way, Norton Security automatically scans every download. This product also has an "Identity Safe" which remembers all of your user names and passwords. It automatically fills in this info when logging in to a website. You can print a copy of all user names and passwords as well if you back them up to a CSV file.. You can use Microsoft Excel or a similar product for this. Norton Security Premium also has a back up feature, but I've never used it because I have a wonderful external hard drive that keeps all of my files safe and sound. Therefore, I can't say anything about that feature. However, it's probably a good idea to back up one's file to the web..An external drive can go bad go course. To sum up, I heartily recommend Norton Security!

I'm a regular Norton subscriber. My annual plan was set to renew for about $80 through Norton. Instead, I found this on Amazon on sale for $30 (Black Friday season). Very pleased to save the $50! It's the same Norton product at any price. Easy to use: just sign in to Norton, add the product key, and download. Coverage starts right away. Note: Norton starts your subscription on the day you download it, but they don't give you credit or an extension for any existing Norton program you may have. So, if your existing Norton software expires a month or two in the future, stretch your dollars by waiting to install this near the expiration date of the plan you already have. Otherwise, you'll lose that month or two of coverage, even though you've paid for it. Another tip: turn off Norton's "auto-renewal" feature if you want to bargain-hunt for the best price each year. In my case, the auto-renewal would have cost $50 more per year than buying the same coverage through Amazon. Don't worry, Norton will send you a billion renewal reminders so you'll know that your subscription is coming to an end.

I have always used Norton products and trusted them. However I bought this copy through one of Amazon's lighting deals over the holiday at a great price, but when I loaded the product key it did not ADD to the remaining 44 days left in my subscription it just starts your subscription over. The box states "Your renewable subscription provides coverage for 10 devices during the subscription period which begins upon initial installation and activation." My bad for not reading the fine print...I should have waited the day before my previous subscription was to end. The last time I renewed my subscription I did it through the Norton website and it DOES ADD to your subscription time, not overwrites it. I am going to have to ding Norton and only give them three stars for that, otherwise it's a great product. (UPDATE) After reading some of the reviews I reached out to Norton via chat and 2 minutes later they transferred my remaining subscription over to the new key code. Excellent customer service! Changing my 3 stars to 5.

Love the Norton's anti-virus. Have been using it since I got my first computer & have never had a virus issue. They are now adding lifelock to their available products so they are gong to be even better. The cost is very reasonable through Amazon. The only problem I have is that now Norton's wants to have auto renewal. That limits your ability to get it at the best price and I hate auto renewal for anything! I like to buy the products when I get ready to & not on a fixed schedule. I may have the extra money two months prior to the expiration date or may have to stay off line for a week. When I purchase myself I have those options but not when I am forced into auto renewal

Gosh, have been using Norton, well, since forever. Even during their bad years when they had a really, really, really bad product. Don't know if you remember the resource hog days. So, since I started so long ago with them was able to keep my password vault as local rather than have an online only password vault, which isn't ever going to happen with my passwords. Yeah, they occasionally push through a popup asking if I want to convert to a cloud password vault. I just click Nope. Norton has worked well the past few years and as long as I can keep my password vault local I'll stick with them. I can't remember the last time I acquired a virus. None known, in any event. This is a pretty good deal for 10 devices if you can get it at the right price. I remember when it was only a single device, then 3 devices, then 5 devices. Now they are up to 10 devices. The renewal process is a no-brainer. Just click on Renew on the Norton tab. Tell it you have a code. Enter your code. Done. Probably less than 2 minutes start to finish..

Been using Norton for many years now and I find that it is the best protection for computers and mobile devices. The fact that it is now offered for more then 1 or 2 devices makes the decision easy to keep buying Norton. I can recommend this product to all. Happy for many years. The anti virus catches all the Trojan horses, viruses and malware. It just recently protected me from a firewall attack. I was browsing the web and I received a Norton warning that a program wants to use my internet connection. The program I thought to be safe because I used it before to print coupons. Never thought it would try to use my computer without my knowledge. Needless to say, I blocked and removed that program from my PC. So yes this was a great purchase. I will continue to use it regularly.

This 10-device key for Norton Security Premium is a super value for households with multiple devices. Norton/Symantec tried to simplify their product lines this past year or so by eliminating Norton 360, Norton Internet Security, and various other products that made it hard for folks to choose the right package for their needs. All were replaced with "Norton Security" - which led to a lot of grumbling from many about lost features. As far as I can tell, all the features of the previous products are now included within Norton Security EXCEPT the tool that would clean up the Windows registry. That's still gone. The initial simplification to a single product, "Norton Security", has now been made more complex by there being three versions of Norton Security: Standard, Deluxe and Premium. Review the image of the back of the box to see the feature differences (or go to the Norton web site). The Premium edition reviewed here covers Windows-based PC's, Macs and portable devices as well as offers 25GB of cloud storage for backups. Whether you need these additional features or not, the price per device for 10 activations makes this 10-device license very worthwhile. I've been a Norton user for many years and find the impact on performance of having Norton to be extremely minimal (unlike some years ago). My only complaint is that Live Update consistently (and for years) says that it has just checked for updates, but if I run it manually, it finds a lot of updates to download and install. So, I don't trust the automatic updating and run Live Update myself at least once a week. Installing on additional devices is a breeze as you can just log onto your Norton account and download the most up-to-date version there, obtaining a license. If you run out of licenses and need to reallocate one, your Norton account web page allows you to deactivate any device. (There is no disk - all software is installed via web download.)

You usually can find Norton Security for about $5/computer. Their phone support is excellent but may take a while while they are working with you to answer your questions and installations, including adding in the remaining days of your previous Norton Security service. Norton bundles in some backup to the cloud service, but it is too small to be useful to a productive computer user. I have depended on Norton Security for many years for protection, and at $5/year/computer, I'd be stupid not to continue to purchase it. One thing you have to remember for a multi-computer (3,5,10) package, the 1 year clock starts ticking the day you install it on one computer.
