Nice burner, used it in a homemade stone firepit ...

Great, High Quality Burner/fittings
Great "H" burner that fit nicely in our 22" x 16" x 36" fireplace firebox. It was a little louder than I expected, although I've never used a gas burner in a fireplace, so I actually wasn't sure what to expect. The ad says whistle free, but you most definitely hear gas traveling through the burner. Its not a whistle sound, but almost like water running in pipes behind a wall (confirmed the noise comes from the burner and not the inner wall gas pipe). It was just louder than expected. Overall we are very happy with it. The connections that come with the burner fit with our home gas lines without any issue. We partnered the burner with a base layer of marble rock ships and buried the burner under about 1" of Caribbean blue metallic fire-glass.

Flawless Performance!
After deciding to get rid of my gas logs and update my fireplace, I settled on this burner and golden flame fire glass. I painted my fireplace (after cleaning) with Rust-Oleum High Temp 1200 degree paint, two coats. I then added Star Fire Crystal Diamond fire glass over the burner. I first added ten pounds, then twenty pounds of the same glass. Star Fire has a calculator to see how much to use at their website. I could have gotten by with thirty pounds, just barely, but I wanted to add ten pounds of Onyx Black Reflective to the center as a finisher. See my photos first after painting, then with ten pounds over the burner, then the finished product. The burner performance is outstanding, with the drilled holes and the high grade connectors, there is no whistle. Very nice burner indeed!

Good Burner. Easy upgrade.
Seems well built with all parts needed to get the job done (except pipe sealant and tools). Five min install. Used for glass fire “rock” fireplace update. FYI needed 40lbs of glass, 2x what I originally thought I would need and painted the inside of fireplace with high heat enamel black plant. Looks sharp and super happy with the results. Fast delivery, well packaged.

Very High Quality Burner Kit. Fast Shipping. You Won't Regret It. Just Make Sure You Get The Right Size.
The Product: Very high quality product. The pipe used to make the burner is very thick as described. The pipe is beautifully polished to a mirror shine. Just as described, holes on the burner are drilled, not punched, to reduce the whistle effect. Be advised though, you will still get the "whistle" noise when you turn the gas too high to the point that's too much fire for the fireplace itself. I think that just the way all gas burners are. Installation: Product came with a very clear written instruction. Very easy to install. Just carefully read and follow the instruction. The only trouble you might have is bending the included flexible gas hose. Be patient with it. Take your time on planning the bends, position the burner to the center of your fireplace. To install it, you only need 2 wrenches and YELLOW Teflon gas sealing tape or use the liquid version. To save some money, I used 30 lb. of cheaper flat round fire glasses to put in the bottom as a base to pad up the broken reflective glasses. Then I mixed 20 lb. of light blue and 10 lb. of gold reflective glasses and spread them on top of the flat round fire glasses. I bought this burner kit as a gift to my sister alone with some light blue and gold reflective fire glasses. It turned out beautiful. See the picture I uploaded. The actual result is a lot better than the picture due to under exposure of the glasses caused by photographying the fire. Her entire family and friends loved the effect. Now friends started to ask me to help them setup their fireplace the same way. Highly recommended.

Easy to install
Easy to install. Quality product. If i had any complaint is that when the gas valve is opened fully, you can definitely hear the gas rushing out of the piping. Loud enough so that I wouldn't want to crank it up to it's highest potential. I would recommend this product.

Good product, good price and excellent customer service . . . if you want this item . . . great seller . . . enough said.
The H-burner with connection kit is excellent quality. It has the thicker 304 stainless steel and is thicker than other manufacturers. I had questions for Tim (from Mr. Patio) and he returned the email within hours. Great customer service . . . not only would I purchase from this seller again but I did and I made a total of 5 purchases.

Easy to install, consistent performance
This product has been surprisingly useful. Our fireplace had a gas hookup but no burner. So we decided to give it a try and it seems like it was a great choice. The flames are nicely spaced out, the holes don't get clogged, and the ambiance is very nice with this. The instructions were pretty straight forward and we ended up with a sealed, well done gas burner in our fireplace as a result. Note: you do need gas rated teflon tape to complete the installation. Pick some up at the same time as this if you don't already have any.

Everything you need in one box!
I have remodeled two fireplaces now, one using a 36 inch and another using the 18 inch H Burner to utilize the beauty of new Fireglass. All the hardware (fittings and flex hose) is in the box and except for yellow pipe tape you need nothing else. Tips for getting the best flame effect is to install your H Burner with the holes facing down in a 4 inch bed of 'Silica Sand'. IMPORTANT to LEVEL OUT the burner on top of the first layer of silica sand, then cover the burner with another 4 inches of silica sand and shape like a mound with a angle front and back. Then add your covering of Fireglass. By doing this you will get away with using far less of the expensive Fireglass and the flames will spread out and give you and nice amount of flame for the best effect. Mounting the H Burner with holes facing up will give a less appealing look with flames just shooting straight up and not flowing under your new Fireglass. Lowes has a 100 pound bag of silica sand for only 10 dollars. Shop around for a color of Fireglass that fits your budget and enjoy what will be a new fireplace when you are finished!
