These connectors are great and super easy to use (with crimper) I used them for a CB disconnect and a few other items in a Jeep and I love them, they keep a solid connection, stay clean and dry. Pro: Easy to use (with crimper) Pretty clear instructions boots and fittings work really well Con: No extra ends with package, so if you make a mistake you will be missing an end.

I used these to add some LED daytime driving lights. I do quality installations for others so I don't cut corners for myself! With a bit of heat-shrink tubing, these connectors made for a very professional installation that will be fully waterproof for reliable performance for years to come. Highly recommend!

They work great. I used them with both 18 gauge and 20 gauge stranded wire. Attaching with crimper (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002CCAEJ6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) the wire could not be pulled from the crimped ends. The first few took a bit of time, but after that I could make up a two pin connection in a minute or less. I ordered a few more 10 pin kits. At less than $1 each pair, I don't worry too much about not being able to buy spare pins.

These connectors and contacts are good quality. I use lots of these types of connectors and as such have a very nice AMP Crimper which worked perfectly on these contacts. You must use the right crimper for these contacts to work properly. The waterproofing parts of these connectors are very supple and assemble nicely. I used connectors on a piece of outdoor mowing equipment, but I originally purchased them for a motorcycle wiring project.

I ordered these ro connect an extra set of lights on my truck. These connectors are perfect. Quality appears to be good, you can either crimp or solder the pins. Comes with male and female pins and connectors and instructions with pictures. I have not tried in wet conditions yet.

Great quality. Seems to be made out of injection mold polymer. The tough waterproof silicone insert is NOT easy to rip: I used the nose of a small screwdriver to push it in with no tearing problems. When inserting the pin, you'll hear a satisfying *click* of a secure connection. All you'll need to buy with this to make a perfect and professional harness is some shrink tubing to match your guage of wire and some dialectic grease on your terminals to make triple sure that no corrosion will occur.

These connectors work very well as long as you take your time assembling the pins. Like some other reviewers have noted, I sacrificed a couple of pins when trying to work out the best method for crimping. A couple of tips: 1. Use only 16-gauge wire or smaller. Believe me, 14 is just too large. I tried 14 on a pin, and it worked but was a pain to assemble. 18-gauge is probably the best size. Also, you only need to strip off very little insulation - perhaps 3/16" at the most. Your objective is to have just enough bare wire to get all the way under the crimp tabs; you want insulation to span the full length of the larger tabs. 2. Be SURE to put the yellow silicone collars on the wire FIRST. (Yes, the voice of experience speaking here.) 3. I did not trust the purely mechanical connection of the wire to the pin so I soldered them after crimping both sets of tabs. 4. I did not have a crimping tool. I used a pair of diagonal wire cutters to crimp the tabs. The way I got my best crimps was by doing the bare wire crimps first, then the larger tabs on the insulation. I also found that if I first crimped one tab a little bit, then the opposite one a little bit, this worked best. You can control the crimping much better if you only crimp each tab a little at a time working back and forth. 5. As I mentioned above, I didn't trust the mechanical crimp so I soldered the connection after crimping both sets of tabs. One really nice feature I noticed was the "click" you get when you insert the pins into the connector shells. When you hear the "click" you know it's in all the way. These work very well and I am very pleased with them.

For the price you cant beat these. Get a proper weatherpack crimping tool and there should be zero problems installing these. Took me a couple tries to figure out how to crimp properly for different guage wire but once I got a system down the connections were solid. No need to solder, you would need to yank on the wire pretty hard to get it to pull out of the crimp once done correctly.

These are nice waterproof connectors that are small and easy on and easy off with the safety latch. I used them for the wiring harness on my Road King for the Santa Claus decorations such as LED reindeer horns and candy canes.

These are exactly what I was looking for. I wasted a few of them because I'm still learning how to properly get them crimped and ensure that the pins are inserted correctly into the housing. This will definitely take some practice to get perfect. The inside clip is a bit flimsy and I broke a few already which rendered the housing useless since the pin wouldn't lock in place. However, this could be due to my inexperience using these. I got a few of them wired in good and am using them for fog lights on my armored bumper on my truck. Makes the whole thing looks professional and from the factory if you do it right. I bought the recommended crimping tool to go with it, and am GLAD I did. I would recommend you purchase the proper tool to ensure you get this on correctly. i would have wasted a lot more of them if I had not purchased the proper crimping tool.
