My blue jays sit in the trees waiting patiently for these treats! Very fresh nuts!

If you enjoy wildlife and helping them out a bit, especially during winter, these nuts will be a smashing hit! The photo illustrates my favorite squirrel, Nellie, at my door in the morning looking for a few nuts - she gets very hungry when she is pregnant/with little ones. These nuts are really high quality with sturdy shells (good for burying/storage) and the squirrels and jays in particular love them. I think, for this purpose, these are better than what I can buy in the stores and a very good comparative value as well. Give 'em a try, you and your critters will love them.

Ordered from other vendors before and this product was clean and well packaged compared to other that actually contained bugs. OY! Will reorder. Crows and squirrels LOVE the peanuts

There are lots of edible foods that grow underground that are sold RAW. Burning (extreme heating) destroys bacteria, viruses, etc..., BUT extreme heat does not discriminate and destroys good and bad. Whoever tells you that it only destroys bad stuff, is a salesman. Don't buy it. These are delicious raw and inside the shell. They rip you off by charging more for Burning your food. Our bodies are designed to eat raw dirty foods for millions of years and it strengthens our immune system - unless you are very weak and diseased.

The squirrels got so rambunctious over these I stopped putting them out. The squirrels were crazily tearing around on my pool cage and I was worried about major damages. So I gave the peanuts to my daughter to put out but she began to have problems too, with a raccoon who became overly emboldened as a result of free access to this obviously highly prized treat for wildlife.

This is difficult to rate since the bag says, "Not for human consumption". But watching the wildlife in my backyard, I'll say it was 5 stars for non-humans. I may even have my own peanut patch next year as I watched some of them being buried.

Clean, fresh, easy open bag. No dirt flying when I opened the bag; fresh, clean smell and the creatures that came to feast were so excited to get their favorite food - especially squirrels & blue jays.

The California scrub jays in our San Diego backyard eat several handfuls a day. An inside Senegal parrot enjoys them as a treat as well.

Purchased these to make boiled peanuts, I'm from the south, living in the north. Boiled peanuts are unheard of up North. These worked well and came out perfectly. I also plan to share them with various creatures this up coming spring/summer (not boiled of course lol).
