which is ideal for making a nice dark dough that contrasts beautifully with royal icing
I go through a lot of molasses every winter as I make and sell decorated gingerbread cookies and gingerbread house kits from my home kitchen. This molasses is very thick and dark, which is ideal for making a nice dark dough that contrasts beautifully with royal icing. Arrived sooner than I expected and was packaged well. I would definitely buy again.

Real Molasses
I was looking for black strap molasses for my baking. This is very representative of quality available from real sugar cane regions. Paraguay produces good quality in keeping with tradition. This molasses is good and delicious...

Rich, old fashioned molasses flavor
Rich molasses flavor, not as cloyingly sweet as what you find in the supermarket - just what I was looking for. I was surprised that it has a slightly sugary texture, but that did not affect my recipe at all. Great product.

Excellent quality.
We use this to make our own plant food for our garden. This is the best quality I have found.

Real Deal with a Kick !
I was impressed with now fast this molasses arrived. I ordered it on 4/24 and received it on 4/27. The first thing I did was taste it. Taken aback at first with the power of the taste, a bit of a kick, but it mellowed after the initial hit. Think homebrew or a natural, unfiltered beer with "floaties" and such, or homemade, whole grain bread. In contrast, the refined molasses in the cupboard tastes just that, refined. It is sweet and very pleasant tasting but what did it learn in life ? What did it pick up during the ups and downs ? . . . There is a time and a place for refined beer, bread and people. And there is a time and a place for the down to earth and dirty . . . I haven't tried it as part of homemade granola yet, or any baked goods or liquids but I would use it in an instant. I bet it would make a great natural MOXIE. (I'm using it to revitalize my water kefir grains.) In that I am using most of it for microbial teas for gardening, I prefer a natural product with all sorts of the "impurities" that make it nutritional for those bubbling buggies. There is also a a "Women Owned" label on it, which I had not seen or noticed. Also, it is a product of Paraguay. That makes sense.

I love it! The price is what made me try ...
It is a bit stronger in flavor than what i am used to, very thick, and a little grainy. I love it! The price is what made me try it! Thank you! Thank you! Where we are in FL, the largest container i have found is a pint! Such a joke for anyone who loves molasses!

really makes a tasty rum
i used a gallon of this to make a batch of rum it turned out well with a strong flavor and scent even after distillation so i used spices to help mask the mineralyness of it

Fabulous organic molasses at a fabulous price!
I love the price of this product, and am pleased with the quality too! When a mishap happened in the shipping, I contacted the seller and he immediately made things right. I'll not only order organic molasses from him again, but will try his other products. I used the molasses to make excellent soaked and dehydrated nut granola, it was fabulous!
