Great product, I have had over a year
I wanted something to spray oil on the grill before cooking. This works great! I had tried other misters, spray bottles, etc. I think this is the best. Clean with high proof grain alcohol you get at a liquor store (everclear, etc. 180 proof). Put a little in the bottle, let sit, swirl around and spray some out. let dry, it is clean!

Like the 18oz Evo: It Actually Works
Having used the 18oz Evo model every day for more than a year, we were really pleased to see this smaller 8oz capacity spray bottle. The sprayer appears to be of the same design as in the 18oz unit which delivers a reliable oil spray. The point of reliability is, by far, the most important point as readers who have been around the oil sprayer block are aware. We use the 8oz Evo sprayers for oils applied in more modest doses, namely truffle oil; and the 18oz bottle for everyday olive oils that are used in comparatively large amounts. Both 18oz and 8oz Evo bottles sit on out counter at all times. Like the 18oz bottle, the Evo 8oz sprayers deliverer a far more coarse spray than the oil mister designs do, so the buyer should not confuse the two tools - misters and sprayers- as synonymous. Having said that, I think the spray's coarseness reflects the design of the self-syphoning pump in the Evo bottles, and therein lies the fundamental fact that the Evo sprayers work, while others don't work. Best oil sprayers
I'd purchased a large version of these bottles and liked it so well, I bought the little ones too. They serve so many purposes. I have several flavored oils and like to saute fish especially using various ones. I put straight EVOO in my large bottle, but am using these for garlic oil and lemon oils. They fan spray beautifully, nice and even, and are so much more pleasant to use than the bottles you have to pump, plus the spray is more abundant which is important for me since I really want to taste the great oils. I can spray a salad, a filet or the pan directly and just the amount I want. My suggestion to the makers of these bottles would be to provide a center shower type spray alternative along with the fan spray which would allow spraying muffin pan cups most efficiently. Also to make sure the tube that extends into the bottle points toward the front of the bottle when the nozzle is fully screwed on so every last bit can be sprayed as the bottle empties. One of my bottles has the tube going the way I want, but the other's tube is off to one side so I expect I'll have to refill that bottle more often to maintain a good spray. I'd also like more colors so I can store more types of oil and tell them apart without adding a label to the bottle. I love these bottles and am so happy I can now spray my oil both for cooking applications and instead of an aerosol spray for my baking pans.

Perfect For My Needs!
I wanted a sprayer for olive oil. I eat "healthy" popcorn every single night; by healthy I mean I coat it lightly in olive oil, add some garlic salt and shake it around in a bowl to distribute everything - as opposed to microwave popcorn with all sorts of junk added. But I've been using an oil drizzler bottle and I know I've been using more oil than necessary. I was considering a Misto, in fact I was quite decided on one until I happened to see this option. I looked at both items in a kitchen supply store where I could get a feel for both firsthand. I liked the fine mist concept of the Misto but what really sold me on the Evo was the large size; it holds 18 ounces as opposed to Misto which only holds about 2 1/2 ounces! Since I use it every night, that's a lot less refilling for the Evo. The Evo does not spray a fine mist, be sure you know that. It's a spray, but much heavier than a mist. It sprays in a fan shape, a little wider than I'd prefer but since my main use is on large bowls of popcorn it's no big deal. The spray might be a bit wide to coat very small baking pans but should be fine for regular size pans. It hasn't clogged yet as others have mentioned. It's very ergonomic to hold, it feels nice in the hand. It comes with rubber band type labels with various oils in case you want to have a few of these. One thing I really like is the included funnel, which is small but screws right onto the bottle, so it doesn't wobble all over the place while you're refilling it. That turned out to be a surprisingly handy feature for me, it makes refilling easy and neat. The oil doesn't leak out of the sprayer and run down the bottle either, which it tends to do with my drizzle bottle. I also like that I don't need to pump it each time I use it - to me that just means one less thing to go wrong. So far no complaints at all. It was worth every penny, especially now that I'm using much less olive oil on my nightly popcorn! **UPDATE August 26 2015** I have discovered I can't live without this thing, it's my go-to kitchen gadget. I use it for far more than the popcorn I mentioned in my original review above, I use it to coat baking pans, frying pans, everything. I'd say I use it every day for one thing or another. The other day I foolishly left it too close to a hot pan and burned a hole in the bottle, I was furious. These aren't cheap, but I knew I had to replace it immediately, so I ordered another and just the 2 day wait for Prime delivery was torture. The new one is here now and life is good again. I seriously love this thing.

Healthy eatting with spray Non-Aerosol OIL
First bend the straw so it faces the spray nozzle otherwise when the oil is getting low, it wont come out. I use this with my air fryer as well with anything I fry in a pan. It reduces that amount of oil that you use and consume. I use one for my olive oil and one for my vegetable oil. I have more so I can flavor my oils. I don't use butter anymore, just oils.

Love this non-aresol alternative!
I was using PAM, or similar, and it worked okay for cooking, but it was a pain for clean up. I had seen other oil misters with pump action, but many reviews said that they would break in a few months, or leaked and just had problems. Then I stumbled upon these EVO sprayers. They are perfect. The broad spray coats nice and evenly. it sprays oil on food as well. It is super easy to fill, to clean, to use. I love it. I bought the 2 pack so I could have vegetable oil and olive oil available by my stove. It is so convenient. There are no clogs, no leaks, no problems. I definitely recommend these for everyone who cooks.

An Olive Oil Sprayer That Continues To Work! Plus, Not Melting Near The Stove Is Pretty Nice, Too.
I haven't had this Evo olive oil sprayer for too long, but...I think it may be EXACTLY what I have been looking for. I prefer to cook with olive oil for its healthy benefits, but controlling its application is a little tricky. I've tried other sprayers, but they didn't spray very well or it was hard to control the spray or the sprayer would just stop working (it usually didn't take too long for that to happen). Plus, since I usually use it for cooking, it's within easy access and that means it is close to heat. Plastic and heat...not always a good combination. Up until this little marvel showed up, I was using a condiments bottle to drizzle olive oil on. It worked, but not when I just needed to dial the amount back. Plus, it was a plastic condiment bottle (again...plastic and heat). I've used this stainless steel sprayer and have been able to control the amount of olive oil applied much better and the sprayer still works. I sure hope that continues!

Best I've found
Misto was the brand I've used in the past. Misto does fine spray better than Evo but I had to wash out the Misto with hot water and Dawn after each refill. Plus the Misto had a lot of places that got oily that only got clean during a full wash. I'm sure there will be complaints about the ability to control the quantity of oil sprayed with the Evo and indeed they are legitimate. BUT I use an oil sprayer for 2 cooking events: 1. Spray the food I Air Fry in my Cuisinart, and 2. Spray the insides and bottom of my Instant Pot. The EVO does both these chores better than the Misto, and the Evo doesn't clog, and the Evo is an easy "under the faucet" clean. Before I bought Evo, I tried a regular $2 squeeze spray bottle and any oil was too thick. Evo obviously made the spray hole larger to accommodate different oil consistencies - thus the greater quantity of oil with each squeeze.

I needed a spray bottle that was food Safe for ...
I needed a spray bottle that was food Safe for basting my food on my pellet smoker. I mainly use it for misting ribs. I use a mixture of oil, juice and vinegar. There is two options of spray. It can't handle any spices. There are reviews that say it clogs, not true as long as you don't use any solids or spices in your liquid. After I was finished, I used warm water and cleared the spray of my remaining mixture. The container is made of metal so, no worries of it melting at the grill. Contents are not under pressure, all you do is spray. Finally, have a food safe container.

Use pliers to adjust the hose
I just want you to know that you can use pliers to adjust the little hose. Mine came with hose pointing backwards. So if you want to lean the bottle forward to use last of the oil, simply use pliers to twist it into place. I figured this out after 6 months. Hope this helps someone. I could not twist it with my fingers. Needed pliers. I was afraid of breaking it, but it fortunately did not break.
