Great Little Pool Vacuum

I attached this small vacuum to my standard pool wand, for my 40 foot by 20 foot in ground pool. It had been six weeks since I vacuumed the pool in our wooded area. There was all sorts of tree stuff on the bottom. It took me roughly ONE HALF the time to vacuum the bottom, than it would with the hose method. It looks like I will only use the hose vacuum in the spring, and "touch up" the pool every two weeks. The USB charging method is a lot more practical than supplying AA or C batteries. Great little product for the money...

Intex Handheld Rechargeable Pool Vacuum Really Sucks - In a Good Way!

We have an Intex 10' x 30" pool and we live in the desert. Lots of sand, bugs, etc., collect in the pool, even with a cover. I wanted something that didn't need to be plugged in or require that we disconnect the filter in order to vacuum. This Intex rechargeable vacuum fits the bill perfectly. It works for about 40 minutes between charges, which means we can clean our small pool 5-6 times before having to charge it. It's easy to clean; just open the dirt cup and dump. So far, it's sucking up everything that the desert throws at it, from sand to beetles.

Great pool vacuum!

Bought this to clean up that darn debris that settles at the bottom of my pool. I wish I had bought it as soon as I got my pool, it would have saved me so much extra work. It cleaned the floor of my pool in 20 minutes. Very easy to use, love that it has a rechargeable battery and 2 different brush heads. Worked even better than I anticipated.

Wish I purchased sooner!

After reading many reviews, and seeing some say this vacuum is only good for a smaller pool, I wasn't sure if it would work for me. But I decided to buy it and I am very pleased with it. Our pool is 24' round, and 52" deep. My husband had used the big, bulky vacuum that hooks up to the pool filter to get the larger debris, but there was still quite a bit of fine debris that was left behind. I received the item, charged it up and used it yesterday and it worked fantastic! Instructions were simple and very little assembly is required, and it is so simple to use. I have only used it once so far, and will update this review if needed, however, I have never been unhappy with an Intex product. My only complaint would be that the charging light doesn't go off to let you know the unit is completely charged.

Buy this you will not be sorry!

I have the largest index pool they make, I was very Leary of buying this as I have the automatic vacuume that stays on the bottom of the pool from index. So here is my story, I blew sand back in my pool from my filter by mistake, it has been in there for a year because it just wouldn’t come out, it was a significant amount also. Anyways, I charged this up and decided to give it a go not expecting much. This has 2 attachments , use the one that looks more like a broom and it works amazingly. It actually picked up all of the sand and every other tiny thing on the bottom of my pool.

If I could give this 100 stars I would!!!! Are you kidding me??? This is over the top fantastic!!!! Cleaned out my 15' X 42" Intex Easy Set pool in about 15 minutes. It picked up dead bugs, pine needles, tree leaves and SAND!!!! I was hoping it would do a little bit, but I was blown away how efficient and EASY it worked!!! The extension pole that comes with it is perfect as well. I'm under 5' tall, and I could reach every bit of the bottom of the pool with no problem whatsoever. I couldn't be happier!

Intex pool vacuume it works for me!

Received the Intex pool vacuum, and gave it an over night charge. Used it in a Intex 16'x4' above ground pool. I have a bad dust silt problem due to construction in the area. At first used the black mesh filter, and it did a good job a vacuuming, But was not getting the dust silt. Next I put on the fine micron white filter. What a difference, it sucked up all the silt. I let the silt settle back down, and vacuumed again, then ran the sand filter. A couple of suggestions, 1. keep a bucket of water close by to wash out the filters. 2. Run water over the white micron filter be fore installing it in to the black filter, this makes locking in the cover a lot faster. It is super quiet. Put the switch on #1 put it in the water, then slowly take it out of the water you will see it working.

Great for small pools.

This was recommended by two friends who have pools. I used it in one of their pools myself and I was happy. Mine arrived yesterday from Amazon. After an 8 hour charge I tried it out. We have a small summer waves quickset pool. I cleaned the bottom of the pool within minutes. Since the surface skimmer I ordered has not arrived yet, I flipped the vacuum upside down and cleaned all the bugs from the surface. If the battery lasts as long as they say it does, I should be able to clean the whole pool 5-6 times on a charge. I am happy with this purchase.

Great buy!

Our pool came with a vacuum but it was a pain to get hooked up to our pump. I did research for a lightweight easy to use vacuum and found this one. Was a little skeptical at first but ordered anyway. Today was the first day I used the vacuum and I wish I would have taken pictures of the before and after! This thing sucks in a good way! little effort is needed, you don't have to get in the pool to clean, quick cleaning (I maybe spent 5-10 minutes cleaning our 18ft pool) light weight, and easy to clean afterwards.

Works well for price

I just received this today after reading reviews & ordering it. We have an above ground pool that s 12x30 with a saltwater filter system. The saltwater system has been great but there was still some small debris on the bottom of the pool in areas. I was actually surprised at how great this worked. I was trying to avoid a hose system and there weren't many options for a handheld recharable vacucm. This one cleaned up my pool bottom and I didn't even have to get in. It came with an extendable rod/handle and 2 attachments. It cleaned up everything that was small on the bottom of my pool and stirred up the big items enough to use the skimmer. The 2 filters are nice & the on/off button was easy to use. I will update this review if anything goes wrong. Edit: 2nd day using it and I added some before & after pictures.
