I think I've tried close to 20 different brands of dry shampoo over the years and this is hands down the most effective and best all around. For the last several years I have been using organic, non-aerosal powders like this one (Drop Dead Gorgeous, Acure, Acure for Brunette Hair, etc.) Here's why this one beats them all: - Effectiveness: I have VERY oily scalp; used to have to shampoo daily, then every other day with dry shampoo but it still felt greasy. I can go a week without shampooing now, applying this product the night I shower and a couple days after that. - Economy: A little goes a very long way. Lasts forever - Color blending: my roots are brown. Small but Mighty! Best Natural Dry Shampoo I've tried...

I'm trying to get rid of a lot of toxic chemicals in my life. I used to buy Batiste and go through a bottle in a week. It seemed to work but my hair felt gunky if I would scratch my head. Plus breathing in all that aerosol was gross and unhealthy. I did some research and decided to try this. I open the bottle just slightly and slowly draw lines on my scalp down different sections of my hair. I then use an old makeup brush and really scrub it in to my hair. I then use a hairbrush and run it through to help pull the powder down the hair shaft. I had read a review that said to do this, and I have to agree it works. My hair has great volume and it doesn't look greasy at all. It took me a few times to figure out the technique but it's very much worth it. I do have very fine blonde hair. My hair gets greasy so fast, I'm amazed at how well this works and very impressed. The bottle is tiny but you will be surprised how little you need to use. It will last you several months. It has a very light lavender smell and is not overpowering at all. If you want a more natural approach, definitely give this a try!

Perfect Dry Shampoo! Wish I had found sooner! Love it!

Amazing product! And great time saver! Wish I had found it sooner. I've always had very oily hair and washed everyday. Now that I'm getting older and color to cover gray hair, plus struggling with thyroid issues I've been babying my hair. I avoid washing my hair everyday, but it still gets a little oily around my hair line. This dry shampoo powder helps me go 2-3 days between washing. The bottle was surprisingly small when I received it but a little goes a long way, ( I've used about a month and not used half yet). I found it best to sprinkle some on my fingertips and gently rub into the areas needed, then brush. If I use a little before bed, and then again in the morning my hair looks freshly washed. I think the smell is soft and natural, subtle and fades quickly. Glad I decided to try this natural powder product and not the chemical sprays. I will definitely order again and highly recommend it to others!

I'm a hairstylist who has tried all the dry shampoos for my super oily hair. From $4 drug store all the way to $30 professional, but none of them were able to do what this stuff does. If you actually have oily hair, you NEED a POWDER dye shampoo. The aerosols are not powerful enough, plus they run out so quick. The powder goes much further and absorbs the oil much better. Also very important, use this at night before you go to bed. Most people's hair gets oily as you sleep so putting it in before that happens, helps absorb the oil as it's happening. If you wait until your hair is already oily, it's not gonna work very well. This one is also the least expensive powder dry shampoo I've found, it works amazing, and has a lovely lavender scent. I just wish we sold it at my salon! I tell all my clients about this dry shampoo because it's the only one that has worked for me!

Pleasant smell, no irritation. A winner.

I've used this product several times now and I really like it. I have tried those name brand aerosol type in the past and the butane immediately irritated my scalp, reek of chemicals and enhance that gross dirty hair smell. I've also tried other powder brands, but again, could smell that synthetic scent. This product doesn't seem to contain anything that irritates my scalp and the light lavender scent is wonderful. My hair smells freshly washed. I have my natural haircolor (light brunette) and I have no problem with this product showing. I generally wash my hair every 3 days because it's winter. In the summer I wash every other day. The applicator works well. I just part my hair at the crown, sides and nape and apply it. Then gently rub it through my scalp as though washing my hair. A quick blowdry on cool setting helps to rid of any dust here and there and off I go. It adds a little volume at the roots too. I will keep using this brand.

Application method is everything!

I've been using this product for almost a year now. The first bottle lasted 10 months using it 2-3 times per week. Application method is everything in getting this to work for you. I have thin, fine hair that gets weighed down easily. I do not use the tip to put this in my hair (that creates patches of white that are hard to distribute). Rather I sprinkle a little powder in my hands, turn my head upside down and work it into the roots. After 15 min or so, I brush through my hair with a natural bristle brush. I've been able to go from washing my hair every day to washing it every 4th day because of this product. It smells wonderful and gives my hair extra body and fullness.

BEST DRY SHAMPOO...EVER!!!

It is just as described. Would recommend to others :) My hair is ALWAYS oily at the roots and the aerosol cans of dry shampoo make my hair stiff, but this stuff...this stuff is amazing! Adds volume, doesn't completely dry out my hair, and does not leave residue or build up (I have black hair so this is very important). Also, my hair smells super fresh after using. Would give more stars if I could!

wow! amazing!! this product plus biotin will do wonders!

SO I am kinda new to the "no shampoo" movement. I am very tom boyish and never opened a beauty magazine- so I didn't really have any idea I was over washing my hair and stripping it of it's natural oils. I have wanted to grow my hair out for as long as I can remember, but my hair would always get split ends and be unhealthy at the bottom so I would always have to cut my hair. After watching Brad Mondo and Niki Demar on youtube in this past year- I came to the realization that in order to fix my hair I would need to wash it less, drink more water and take biotin. I have oiley skin and if I go 2 days without washing my hair it's noticed. I would go a week without washing my hair and my closest friends would tell me to go wash my hair. I really wanted to go longer so I pushed myself a few times to go up to 10 days without washing but then my scalp would start to itch. I looked it us and it was probably bacteria- gross, right? Brad Mondo would say, try to go as little as possible without shampoo and Niki would say- wash your hair once every 2 weeks. They both said "invest in a good dry shampoo." I had never used a dry shampoo before- but I'm so invested in growing out my hair that I had already chopped off all my hair to start completly over- and was taking biotin and my hair had never felt so strong from washing it less and less. I went on amazon and bought this based off the rating and customer reviews instead of looking for cheapest price- (something the tom boy in me would have done) I am so glad I found this product! my hair is in the best condition it'sever been and I think I will finally be able to grow it out to my lower back for the first time.

I was hesitant to buy this product as it seems expensive; it is worth every penny! A very little goes a very long way so it appears that it will last quite a while. The scent is a pleasantly light floral that is not over powering. I have extremely oily hair and without this product have to wash it every day. With the dry shampoo powder I can go two days quite easily and, I confess, I have on occasion stretched it to three. I highly recommend this over the aerosol dry shampoos I've tried; better scent, lasts longer, and I get better results.

Makes my bangs and roots look fresh again.

I love that this is a powder and not a stinky aerosol spray. That also means that this lasts MUCH longer. I use it every other day when I don't wash my hair since I have very oily roots. I've been using it for almost a month and barely any is missing out of the bottle. A little goes a long way.
