does 2 sides faster than my old one does one side and the sheet feed is awesome.

Very fast and precise sheet feeder used in a small tax & accounting office. Previously used an Epson GT-2500, but the sheet feeder on that device began to grab several sheets at one time, rendering it useless. While it worked, one nice feature on the Epson was that it could scan sheets with post-it notes, checks, etc. taped to the front. The HP ScanJet 3500 will not scan sheets with post-it notes, or anything else taped on (i.e., the thickness of each sheet run through the feeder must be of uniform thickness), but this prevents the sheet feeder from picking up more than one page at a time, so it turns out to be a good thing once you're used to it.

Love my new scanner.

The ADF is very fast and reliable. It never had any paper jam since it arrived at my office.
