Super convenient

If you drink wine with any regularity at all, you need one of these foil cutters. They eliminate the need for anyone to rip and tear at the foil that is atop any wine bottle and its cork. Takes seconds to use and they seem to last forever.

I need to get to my wine!

This foil cutter does a fine job of allowing us to remove the foil/plastic cork cover. Our previous cutter mangled rather than cut! As we get older it seems harder and harder to get INTO the product!! No longer is the cork cover a problem!

Just what we needed

Lost our original (or at least we thought we did!). Ordered these and the day they came, we found our old one. The old one has never been used again. These have serrated edges, which are sooo much better, because they grip the foil on the top of the wine bottom. Love them! You cannot go wrong. I must admit, the white one seems an odd color, but still using it anyway.

Had one like this before and it lasted for years!

When the one I had like this broke, I could not find another one at the store. They had all these fancy ones, so I tried one. It never worked liked the old one. This design makes sense and I'm sure it will last a long time!

Great tool!

This fits easy in your hand and opens the foil off bottle quickly and cleanly. I got a very nice e-mail from the people I purchased this from and received quickly. I would buy it again from them. Looks just like the item pic. on Amazon.

Very useful and convenient

A very useful tool for cutting the foil around the wine bottle cork. Much easier and safer than using a knife. I found out about this product when I received an expensive wine bottle opener kit, and this tool was included in the kit. After a while I was only using this tool from the kit, leaving the single handed cork puller for more practical hand corkscrews. Of course I wanted an additional foil cutter for my home and for a gift to my friends.

Works perfectly for the purpose it was designed for. I have arthritis in both hands. This style wine foil cutter is easier to use than my previous one-sided cutter. Having two cutters allows me to take one with me when I bring wine to a pot luck party. Looks a lot nicer - and safer - than shredding the foil wrap with a knife.

The price is right

Several months ago we bought a "Wine Ziz" which we found to be more efficient at opening the foil at the tops of wine bottles than the (usually very dull) knives included with all "hotel style" corkscrews (a great improvement). While opening a bottle one evening, something hung up resulting in pulling out one of the rivets that hold the blades in (this turned out to be an easy fix and our original "Wine Ziz" is back to functioning well). In the meantime, I decided to buy a backup and found this item for about 20% less than the "Ziz"

Best ever and great value

Great foil cutter! We are very happy with this purchase. Simply stated, it quickly and easily cuts the foil, better than any cutter we've had. Great value (2 for $6.95). I saw inferior foil cutters at our local "beverage" store for $11. In regards to the comments/nonsense about "foil shavings"...we found these to be microscopic and can easily be swept off counter. No reason whatsoever to keep you from trying these excellent little cutters.
