Each summer I spend a week volunteering as a youth camp counselor. It's an electronics-free camp where teens get a chance to unplug and swim, do archery, zip lines and handmade crafts. Parents expect that while they are out of touch with their cell phone-less children that the counselors will be well prepared for any accident, injury or unforeseen teen incident. (And believe me, the craziest things happen!) You simply MUST have a good, sturdy bag with you at all times full of the things you're going to need to remedy any situation, which almost always requires band-aids! This bag is surprisingly well thought-out. Inside the main body is a single pouch pocket along the back that is 7.5 inches wide. Great for stashing your guidebook (or a tablet) and keeping it separate from other items. The remainder of the main body (10 x 13 inches) is open and could easily fit a water bottle and sack lunch. Or, in my case, a large first aid kit. The front pocket features an abundance of pockets that are incredibly handy! First there is a 4x4 inch mesh zippered pocket. Behind it is a 5x4 inch open top slip-pocket for a cell phone, bottle of bug spray or sunscreen. Behind that is a large 6 x 5.5 pocket for your largest items. To the right of the mesh pocket are two pencil pockets, large enough to hold a standard Sharpie marker. (For some reason pens and markers are so hard to find when you're at camp yet you always seem to need one!) A red key clip dangles securely in front of the pockets. There is a small mesh cell phone pocket on the side. At first I thought it was a water bottle holder but at only 2 and a half inches wide, it was too narrow for a plastic bottle. That is fine because a bottle hanging off that side of the pack would bump against your side and rub you. Stitched into the side body of the bag, near the mesh cell phone pocket, are two back and reflective silver gear loops. They are large enough to slip a carabiner through to attach additional lightweight objects. On the cross body strap is a 7x3 inch zippered pouch. it's long and deep, ideal for holding anything you need frequent access to. I plan to keep a bug bite stick, a pen, chapstick and travel size essential oils in that pocket. The back of the bag is a black padded mesh which will help keep your own back and shoulders from becoming chaffed and overheated. The pack strap can be disconnected and clipped to a second attachment point on the other side so it becomes a left-handed cross body bag if desired. The body strap can be adjusted, extending to accommodate an estimated 250 pound frame. The material: I opted for the blue bag, which is a gorgeous vibrant aqua. The material is a rip-stop kind of weave and seems to be water resistant. This is perfect because I need a bag that I can spot across the mess hall that will easily shed glitter from crafts and splatters from food fights, all in the same day's work. I'm incredibly pleased with this bag! I was fortunate to be able to buy it at a slight discount (not free) to test out. It is well sewn and feels rugged; surprisingly so for the price. I've had many bags (I typically carry an REI Flash 18) so i know good quality and I know what will hold up under real-life outdoor abuse. Comfortable and convenient.

This chest sling is very comfortable to wear no matter how loaded down it is. I love it because it has a zipper cell phone pocket on the front sling so that it can be easily accessed. It has two zipper compartments on the actual bag. The smaller one is great for holding credit cards/ I.d's and money. It also has a mesh compartment to hold a water bottle. The chest sling is great for vacation or being outdoors. I use this bag often and I highly recommend it.

We LOVED them! All of us carried one each day

I bought one of each of the four colors of these backpacks before my family's trip to Disneyland. We LOVED them! All of us carried one each day. I wish they came in more colors, but thankfully there were just four of us. I thought my shoulder would get tired, or my back might ache from having the pack on one side of me for several very long days, but neither was the case. It was such a comfortable backpack, my nine-year-old daughter carried hers without asking for help one time. When going on rides, we'd simply turn the pack to where it was in front instead of in the rear. Like all other reviews said, the cell phone pocket was perfect for a cell phone. We used them to hold our cell phones, tickets, fast passes, AND walkie talkies so that if we split up and needed to reach each other, the walkie talkie noise or cell phone ring was near our ears (a lot easier to hear than if it was inside your pants pocket or the bag itself). The bag is light weight, which I loved. The strap is comfortable. I hooked a hand sanitizer to the loop at the top to have easy access to that. It held my Disney book, snacks, my extra cell phone battery, a portable blanket, park maps, a small wallet, and a water bottle. This is the perfect Disney bag!

Disney-proof, beach-proof, zoo-proof, airline-proof

This is used as a daily gym bag. Not to confuse anyone.... this isn't going to fit your shoes, clothes, towel, etc. What I mean is going to the gym dressed to exercise, no need for a change of clothes afterwards. But still the size is reasonable for day trips. I just wrapped up a 6 day Disney vacation and used this bag every day in the parks. I used it as carry-on for the airplane as well. It's been used at the beach and for trips to the zoo. I've owned it for over one year and I'm very satisfied with it. No tears, no broken zippers, no fading. It's water resistant, the backside is paded for comfort, and it fits snug so no movement/swinging. It has well thought out storage, most notably a clip to secure your keys to inside the smaller of the two main storage compartments and I fit two cellphones in the fully enclosed holder located on the chest strap. I've since purchased a second as a gift. It's a great product. Update... More than two years of use (daily gym bag) and tons of trips to theme parks, the beach, the pool, soccer fields, bicycling, etc....... This thing hasn't torn, faded, or failed in any way. The perfect bag for me

I use this as a purse so I've carried it daily for a month. I absolutely love it. It's extremely comfortable and allows both my hands to be free. I like over the shoulder bags but every time I bend over it falls, so this is great because this stays securely in place. It is very easy to adjust while wearing. I wore it for 7 hours straight recently and was able to switch the shoulder I was wearing it on without taking it off my back, so convenient. It holds a lot. I fit two library books, 24 oz bottle, orange, crackers, case for glasses, hair brush, wallet, keys, toiletries and miscellaneous papers in it and it wasn't bulging. The divider in the main pocket is nice and I love the red clasp to easily pull my keys out. I was worried about the strap pocket for the phone that it would look or feel weird and it did feel huge and like an attention drawer for the first day but doesn't bother me anymore. I love being able to pull it around my waist to get something out without taking it off. I have walked through a misty rain but not a downpour and my things were fine. I doubt it would keep my stuff dry in heavy rain. Also the handle is good for carrying it but the excess strap hangs low to the floor so I grab it halfway and double it up if I'm carrying it by hand. I would order this again. I may order a 2nd one in case its discontinued.

Awesome bag - ordering two more.

I purchased this bag for an upcoming trip. I wanted something lightweight and comfortable. Today for a school event, I tossed in four bottles of water, my keys, and some gum and there was still good room. Nice pockets on the inside, a side pocket for a water bottle (whic I didn't use) and and awesome phone holder on the front strap. Not bulky at all, but still held my Samsung with a big case, and popsocket. Should strap is padded. Can't say enough about this bag. Ordering two more for my boys for our trip. My 10 year old loved when I put it under the faucet and the water rolled off.

Excellent sling bag for the price

Excellent sling shoulder backpack! Great quality for the price. I'm impressed with the craftsmanship. Comes with two outer zipper punches to store items and plenty of pockets and compartments inside. I'd been looking for a shoulder bag for a while but didn't want to spend $50. This bag is worth every penny.

Holds cell phone right where you want it! PERFECT BAG, LOVE IT!!

I looked for WEEKS trying to find the perfect sling bag for my trip to Disney World. I ended up going with this one based on the fact that it would hold my Samsung Galaxy S5 phone (in thick case) in the front zippered pocket. Many reviews of other bags (that have a similar front pocket) said they would hold a "small phone" and most all were based on the infamous "iPhone" which not everyone has!! Go Samsung!! Come to find out, it exceeded my expectations when I found out it would hold my phone attached to a 3"x5" power bank and still zip up halfway to keep them securely in the pocket!! This bag is adjustable for right or left shoulder and holds a TON, including two 8" Samsung tablets NO PROBLEM! At any given time during our week long trip I had the following items in this bag: 2 tablets, phone in front pocket, chapstick, travel size hair spray, comb, travel pkg of Kleenex, sunglasses, bib, Aunt Flo items, wallet (4"x4"x1/2" in size), small bags of snacks/fruit snacks, power bank and cord (3"x5" in size), 16.9oz size water bottle in side pocket. The bag is VERY comfortable to wear with the light padding in the nice, adjustable strap. It has a quick release clip so you can whip it off fast when you need to. As far as water resistance, it got sprayed on a few water rides and everything inside stayed nice and dry. It's a sturdy nylon material and zippers are smooth and zip easily. I HIGHLY recommend this bag and am buying a 2nd one for my husband.
