Was able to remove and press in a new ball joint in minutes with this.

Excellent tool! It worked better than expected. I tried to use a generic press, with no success, so I ordered this tool. A week later I received this new press, and I was able to complete the replacement of both joints in less than two hours. Tip: Disconnect the rear upper control arm from the wheel bearing carrier. This will ease the process of reattachIng the wheel bearing carrier to the lower control arm.

Worked perfectly for my E38!

Worked just fine on my 1995 E38 750il. Nut was 27mm and the flat part of the bolt worked with a 15mm wrench, so you'll need those two sizes.
