• Perfect trickle charger/maintainer for 12V batteries of cars, motorcycles, boats, snowmobiles, tractors etc.
  • Please note that the protective plastic film on the panel surface is supposed to peel off. The cigarette plug option only works if it has constant power when the key is out of the ignition. When you start the car, please remove the solar panel from the car battery.
  • Environmental protection and energy saving, built-in blocking diode to prevent reverse discharge, not only maintains the battery lifetime but also extends its usage life.
  • Charging 12V rechargeable batteries in emergency, suitable for vehicles in outdoor work or travel or camping training. Easy to install and completely maintenance-free.
  • Comes with the cigarette lighter adapter and 1 pair of battery clips. Uique design-high quality clips to prevent short circuit.

I have an older truck that frequently wouldn't start despite having a brand new battery. I only use it a few times a month but I'd have to start it or drive it a few times a week to keep the battery from dying. Keeping this in it has completely fixed that problem & I no longer have to worry about whether it will start when I need it to. I was concerned it might not get enough sunlight because the truck isn't parked in an especially sunny location but that hasn't been an issue at all.

Plugged it into the cigarette lighter on my 97 Tahoe and charges battery up. Vehicle sits for weeks at a time. Wouldn't start, bought and installed inside the front windshield then a week later the Truck started right up. FYI. If your cigarette lighter works with the car off you can charge it this way if not you have to connect to battery directly with cables provided.

Had a tahoe parked on one of my more remote properties. The alarm on it wore the battery down if the truck was not started every 4-5 days. This charger did the trick perfectly. Even if it was cloudy for a couple of days the solar charger compensated enough of the drain in power to start every time. And this is winter. A great item to maintain batteries not used every day. Your battery life will extend.

This works soooo much better than my last one (from a different company) I leave this plugged into my cig lighter in my motor home and the engine always starts. Recently I began to use it on my house batteries. It is a little difficult to get to them, but this charger has plenty of poop to get the batteries up to the max in a reasonable amount of time. Really glad that I bought it.

This works great and keeps the battery maintained. I checked to see the draw and power output. It provides ample power when the sun is out and is connected to the cigarette lighter, but it also draws low power at night due to the light that is on the cigarette lighter. If you want to keep the complete charge, just connect it to the battery posts and you will be good.

There were a lot of reviews/questions regarding if this product had a diode to prevent the car battery from draining. I performed an accurate test to verify this. Using a multimeter set to continuity measure, I tested the solar panel. By connecting the leads via the positive clip, the multimeter would be trying to power the solar panel. There was no continuity! When I connected the leads the other way (positive lead to the negative clip) there was continuity. This means that the solar panel has a diode that blocks in current coming from the positive clip (the same way a car battery would be trying to charge this thing). Then I moved onto the 12v socket connector. There is an LED and a resistor inside. THIS NEEDS TO BE CUT OUT/REMOVED. If this is left plugged in overnight, the car battery will be drained. With the resistor and LED removed, the 12v socket connector does not consume any electricity. I have yet to test this on a sunny day, so I do not know how much voltage/current it will output.

I am amazed this works so well. I have it connected to my old farm tractor. It's been rained on, snowed on and blown off the tractor. Sometimes landing on the ground sometimes hanging by the wires. It still works. Delivers about 17 volts under cloudy sky and about 22 volts in the sun. Five year old tractor battery works every time.

I bought this originally for a electronic boat battery, which charges battery great! . But my Mini Coopers alternator went out, so I thought hmmm let’s see if it keeps charge with solar charger; and it actually worked!!! Saved me the money I would have paid to have tow company to transfer car to shop! This would be good for bad battery too. Wires fit easily under the smallest of hoods. This is a great tool to have laying around for an emergency.

I have a 1994 Chevy Blazer(K5). Weekend truck cause I drive my Accord. When I bought truck in '14 ex-owner told me,"ok the back leakes for some reason"(fixed third brake light roof screw and bam..no more leak). Then he told me some REALLY bummer news," it has a battery leak/grounding somewhere"(omg im gonna need an electrician $$$😒). This truck will kill/lower a brand new batt in bout 5-7 days connected..not turned on. Ok so I've been Not disconnecting the battery however turn on every 2 or 3 days just to make sure and even then the truck sounds kinda TRYING to turn on but turns on. NOT NO MORE!!!! I leave this plugged in day/night(So.Ca.) I gave it 9 DAYS Staright plugged in then I got in the truck..IT STARTED LIKE A BRAND NEW BATTERY!!!OMG!!I FREAKIN LOVE IT!!. Best Part..its SOLAR TRICKLE CHARGER. It reaches my truck battery. I put solar plate on top dash, run 1 wire to battery, clip on batt. clips..Done!. Takes me about 30-35 SECONDS TO INSTALL! I feel like I'm in the 50's and I just bought a new car on my block and my male neighbors are on my jock cause they never heard of this or totally skeptical. Hands down a PERFECT 10 item. πŸ‘ πŸ‘ WAY WAY WAY WAY UP!!. Best $20 bucks I ever spent..Im very close to serious when I say this.

If you want something that recharges dead car batteries, you'll need a plug-in car battery charger and not a small solar device. This works great as a trickle charger/maintainer to keep you battery at full capacity. I was having a small parasitic draw in my truck and this eliminates the need to worry about a dead battery until I can track it down. Keep in mind that the cigarette plug option only works if it has constant power when the key is out of the ignition. Otherwise the power can't get to your battery!
