Glad you called

Glad you called. I was about to discard it and rate it one star. It pulls the cork out fine. But when I try to remove the cork from the corkscrew, the double handles do not grasp or hold the cork so I cal pull the corkscrew out. Also, the little springs on the double handles always keep them spread apart so I cannot store them conveniently in the top drawer of my counter. The double handles are so loose that I can sometimes squeeze them (one up, one down) to hold the cork while I pull to remove it. It's either poorly designed or poorly assembled. Sorry. It looked promising. My previous one worked perfectly for many years (until a handle broke off) So I was looking for a more durable one.

It works great and looks even better

Set impresses from the start. While the case is no finely constructed chest, it looks great! I opened it and was blown away. Al components appear to be nicely built, quality pieces. While I've used it only a few times, the cork screw works perfectly and is better built (more metal) that the popular (mostly plastic) Rabbit. I recently had a Rabbit handle snap. Even if I never use all the extra pieces, they make for a beautiful set. I will likely be buying more as gifts.

Awesome this is a really nice set, it was a gift to my fiancé and we are more than happy with this, this set was our Christmas Wine Host during the entire night... One thing, AMAZON needs to wrap this stuff with a lot more cushions because die to transportation and the lack of cushioning the wood box arrived cracked...

I bought this for my daughter in law and she absolutely loves it. It has everything you could possibly need from opening your wine bottle to pouring your wine to finally storing your unfinished bottle of wine. The box is solid wood with a very durable foam insert to help hold all the pieces in place.

This was packaged well and the actual wooden box was very sleek and our gift recipient loved it. The tools that come in the kit are all extremely handy and I almost wanted to get another kit for myself! It was a great value for the money.
