This cooling fan is the greatest. It is has a nice cooling temperature and keeps my computer cool because I do a lot of gaming on it. I really like the fact that it gives me the option to turn the fan up and not just one general setting. The metal mesh surface enables incredible air circulation and avoids overheating even during long periods of gaming or online browsing. My girlfriend does ancestry and sometimes is on the computer for a couple hours at a time and the fan enables the laptop cooling capacity to be pushed to the extreme. Dual USB powered fans are simple to use, no mains power connection needed. There is an Extra USB port provided for an additional USB device. A USB power connector with pass-through functionality so I don't lose a USB port, which is a big deal because I like to charge my mouse and my girlfriend charges her phone sometimes while I am playing my games. The biggest feature that really makes the difference is the 5-level built-in adjustable height settings which helps to lift and adjust my laptop to my or my girlfriend's preferred viewing and typing angle. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed and completely happy with my Cooling fan.

I had been having problems with my Acer Laptop overheating and shutting off during normal use. I had an older cooling pad pad with a single fan that just wasn' t getting the job done. I was even desperate enough to use a regular fan to try to keep things in operating temperatures...effective but oh so noisy. My Teknet cooling pad arrived today and was put right to work. I noticed right away that temperatures stayed in the acceptable range - 60-75 C, even after an hour of use. Experimenting, I turned the pad off and noticed core temps creep up to the 88-91 C within 10 minutes. No question that the pad is helping. The fan noise level is acceptable to me, though not exactly 'whisper quiet'. I am sold. I typically keep my laptop connected to an external monitor, so the ergonomics really don't figure in here.

I got this because my computer decided to start shutting down on me without warning, mid-sentence sometimes. I did some research and found out it could be a matter of it getting too warm (not that I managed to find out where I can SEE how warm it gets), and I decided to try a cooling pad. Cheaper than a new computer, that's for sure, AND better for my nerves so I don't have shouting matches at a black screen after losing work I'd labored over ... This works. Or knock on wood, plastic, metal, and laminate sheets -- it is working so far. No issues in the weeks since I'd gotten the cooling pad. Granted, the problem was sporadic so I don't know for SURE this is what's keeping my computer from passing out BUT I'm not complaining even if this is placebo. The light doesn't bother me while I'm working, and the switch is easy to access so I turn it off when I close the laptop for the night. It even provides you a USB to make for the one it 'occupies'. Cool beans. Pun and all? ;)

I use the laptop on beds frequently, as I travel. I have a big gaming laptop, and it gets hot. Every other cooling pad I have used does poorly on soft surfaces, but this one is raised above the surface, and cools efficiently. It is a little high for my taste, even when adjusted to the lowest setting, but I got used to that pretty quickly. The legs that hold the body of the unit up from the base are made of metal and will not break. The fans are super quiet, and their speed can be adjusted with the little control panel. Running it at full speed does not draw enough power to affect other USB devices. This works a lot better than any other cooling pad that I have ever used, and cost less. The only change i would make is to put a power input on both sides, instead of just the right.

I just want to say that this Laptop Cooler is one of the best ones i have had in years, it keeps my computer cool and the dust away from the bottom of my computer, which is a time saver, i love the whole feature where i can turn up and down the speed of the fans and then i could adjust how cool i want my computer to stay.

The three 118mm fans, pushing 38.5CFM of air around under my 17” CORE i7 equipped laptop is surprisingly quiet as it continually moves the excessive heat generated by my beastly mobile gaming rig out and away. Powered by an USB cable from my laptop, this cooler sports an actual on/off switch should you need to run in stealth mode – as I do when I use this laptop for recording and editing a local radio program. The Tecknet N8 Laptop Cooling Stand can operate laying flat on a hard service or you can flip open the two “legs” to prop it up slightly to achieve an ergonomic and higher air flow efficiency, and is rated to handle laptops in the 12” to 17” range.

I got this cooling pad for a laptop which kept running hot, and eventually shutting down. I have not had the overheating problem since I placed the laptop on this pad. The pad runs very quietly, and it is very effective. It has lowered the running temperature of the laptop by about 10C-15C. The simple fact that the pad can elevate the laptop allowing air circulation under the laptop -- is a big step in keeping the laptop cool. The two large fans blow plenty of cool air towards the bottom of the laptop. My laptop is a 15" one (14"x10" dimension), and the pad has about 1" more room left on each side. The pad is approximately 16x11.5 inches. Overall, it is a good addition to those laptops which tend to overheat.

I have had mine for over a year now and it still is working strong keeping my laptop cool when using it for a very long time like when playing a game or something. Plus the fans in the device are not too loud and cool down your heated laptop very efficiently! You can't beat the quality of this device for the low cheap price. Also, I reached out to the company due to my device not turning on right away and they were very solemn and prompt in advocating my assistance with the device.

Laptop coolers are pretty self explanatory, people buy them for several reasons. This particular one is one we use for the gaming laptops to help maintain their cool. I like have control over the fan speeds and an LCD to display modes, and temperatures. While you sacrifice a USB port to plug it in, it offers you the difference on the side of the cooler itself to make up the difference. The downside is its a step down from 3.0/3.1 you may be using, to a 2.0. Not a big deal to most but if that matters there you go. The fans look great and offer great cooling and quiet performance, however at max, you will hear them. I have not needed to run the fans at max personally as the combination of lifted elevation and over sized fans cool it adequately. This is not a cooler you want to rest on your lap, its made for desks, or table tops and will be uncomfortable and bulky on your lap. Being able to adjust it is a perk to me, as a lot of coolers don't really offer that for the reasonable price of this cooler. If you game, and want your system to turbo, you want it to be cool, and investing in a decent cooler will make the difference.

This is an awesome product that just popped up in my Amazon ads. Never knew an item like this existed until now. If you work/play games with your laptop plugged in this is a must buy to help keep your laptop cool and keep it from getting super hot. I say plugged in because it is powered by your laptops USB PORT, so if you are not plugged in it will drain your laptop's battery. As you can see in the photos, there is an ON/OFF SWITCH AND TWO USB PORTS to Power the fans. Once powered on the fans are extremely quiet and the blue led lights as seen in the photos is a nice touch. It also has two popup legs to give the cooling pad an adjustable angle to fit your preferences.
