Wireless and loving it!
Every once in a while, someone comes up with a product that just makes things work better...This Bluetooth adapter is such a creature. I ordered one to set up a powered speaker system for my daughter to connect to in her bedroom, but it never made it there. I wanted to test functionality, so I wired it up to the surround system in our living room...within a couple of minutes, I had Amazon Music kicking out Foo Fighters from my phone. Setup was almost non-existent; the only decision point being whether you need a mini jack plug or RCA pair to connect to connect the wire to the device. After hooking up the audio connection and power, just push the button and have your desired source device find the adapter via Bluetooth and pair. My kids came down from their rooms to see what was up and both completely flipped over the concept of being able to just connect up and play music without having to track down connecting cables or put their phones "on a leash". My son was packing up for his freshman year of college and begged to take the adapter along...Hence, we ended up ordering two additional adapters for the house and the original now resides in his dorm room. The only glitch we ran onto while testing the applications of this adapter was with one laptop that was using an older Bluetooth dongle. The computer kept asking for a PIN code for the audio adapter, and of course the adapter has no way of displaying a PIN. We picked up a current generation dongle and the issue cleared. However, this is a consideration for connecting to computers evidently...Phones on the other hand linked up seamlessly in seconds. Even with the computer connection hangup, this adapter is well worth the price of admission. I now have one on our main surround system and one connected to my daughter's powered speaker set in addition to the one that left for college dorm life. The two are two floors apart so we've not experienced any crossover interference thus far. Being able to connect easily to my aging Denon receiver without having to set fiddle around with wires is a great convenience, and I look forward to being able to repurpose the device to run a set of powered speakers out in our graveyard this Halloween without endangering a source device. Bottom line, a great little device that inexpensively expands the functionality of home entertainment systems.

Complete kit, strong BT signal for the cost of a few morning javas...just go buy one for every old hi-fi system in the house.
For the price of a few morning brews, this little gizmo complemented perfectly my vintage Toshiba Aurex System 15 (since 1983). The fact that everything is included in the set, makes this BT adapter a no-brainer purchase for people with old (but expensive) hi-fi systems to be able to play the latest streaming audio formats (mostly,16 or 24-bit FLAC) via a Hi-Res music player. Like another reviewer's experience, the BT signal is sometimes too strong that I have to unplug the unit's power supply in order to use another AV receiver (or, any gadget) with built-in BT inside the house. Not a hassle at all for me as this sits just beside my small hi-fi system. Not to mention the fact that the set's power supply (universal voltage , too -- 110-240 V) cable is long enough so that you can position this little gem just anywhere around your music system. But I like the unit's strong BT signal -- it provides uninterrupted digital music pumping to my nice little system. Pure joy!!! I hope that it would last until a new BT standard comes around that would force me to get a new one. For now, I'm very, very satisfied how this BT adapter nicely matched my vintage micro hi-fi system -- and, yes, a nice Hi-Res audio player.

Great function and sound for the price
Original Review: It took a few attempts to add the device to my computer, but once it connected correctly, it keeps the connection. When it works, it is great. I can tell the bit rate difference up to 320kbps. More than that, I cannot really tell the difference, but even if my computer was directly wire connected, I cannot tell it either, so it passed my sound quality expectation. My problem is, the unit seems very receptive from outside noise source. It sometimes adds quite annoying buzz or sound rendering quality noticeably degrade. I am trying to find the cause, but so far I cannot, and I believe it should have been shielded better at the first place as a music device, so I can only give 1 star at this moment. Update: 5/16/2017 The seller sent me a replacement after reading my first review. The noise problem doesn't happen on the replacement unit. Also, the first unit cannot switch music source automatically when either source is muted (I had to manually press the button) but this works perfectly. I'm pretty happy with the replacement, thus I updated the review points respectively 5 stars.

good product, good support
I wanted a means of listening to music from both my iPhone (pandora, etc.) and an echo dot (via Amazon Music) through a set of speakers. I purchased this product and it was easy to set up (using RCA connectors) and pair with both devices (this was during September 2016). This month (January 2017) it died - couldn't access it from either the echo or phone. I contacted the vendor via email through amazon and was pleasantly surprised with a reply within 24 hours. The item was under warrantee and they quickly sent a replacement. The new one was installed quickly and everything is running well. I was impressed with both the product and the support, and would recommend it. As for the failure, stuff happens... the important point is how the vendor responds.

Get the "Real" equipment out of storage and playing again!
Finally, a Bluetooth device that stays on until I actually turn it off. Makes a great tool for breathing new life into old equipment. Hooked this up to a compact Onkyo amp I loved back in the day but had become basically obsolete. Not anymore! Plugged the devices power supply into the switched outlet of the amp and now whenever I want my pc audio to play through a "real" system I just turn on the amp like old times and the Floyd never sounded so good. Unit is about 40 feet and a couple rooms/walls from pc and it functions just fine. Best of all when I turn off the amp the device is also off so my pc reverts to the default audio output device. I had tried everything under the sun, including numerous Bluetooth speaker set ups, but nothing matches the versatility to run old, but high power/quality, equipment and speakers like this unit does. (Pulled unit out from under amp for pic however it is usually under amp and gives off just a slight blue glow. Great look)

Great Bluetooth Adapter to Revitalize an Old Stereo System
It does the trick. I added it to an old stereo in my workshop and it sounds great. The system was my main stereo from the '90s with a Harmon Kardon Reciever and JBL speakers and subwoofer. I retired it to my shop about fifteen years ago. Now I can stream tunes effortlessly and I am no longer stuck with old CDs, a useless tape deck and VCR... A couple of notes that really worked for me: 1) I have the stereo and this adapter on a master switch that I turn off when I leave the shop. This also decouples the adapter from my phone. I read some complaints that you have to get your phone to "forget" this device because it's hard to unlink the bluetooth connection. I just turn it off, via a master power switch, and when I turn it back on, it automatically relinks to my phone's bluetooth. This is great for me. 2) This device is very small. I set it behind the receiver (so you can't even see it) and it works great. I walked upstairs and it still worked flawlessly. 3) It comes with a power supply and a cable to hook up to either a mini jack or RCA inputs. I appreciated being able to use it right out of the box without having to buy anything else. The only unknown for me is how long will this last. I have bought a few bluetooth receivers over the years with mixed results. Some never fail, some do. I have high hopes but only time will tell.

Works great. Great price. Would buy again.
Replaced my old Logitech (which stopped connecting after awhile) with this one. It is smaller, and looks nicer. No hassle connection, great sound. Others have noted that this unit will connect to your device as soon as it is turned on, which could be a problem if you intend to use it with various devices (sharing with friends etc.), but for my purposes, I’m happy that it does connect itself, and I don’t have to go into settings each time to turn it on, like I did with the Logitech. I have it plugged into my receiver, so it turns on and off with the receiver. So, for me this is a plus. You should seriously consider the ramifications of this because it does not have an on/off switch, and unless you have it connected as I do, you will have to physically unplug it to keep it from connecting.

From desktop PC to Analog Stereo Receiver, stream music with ease!
The thrift store won't be getting my analog stereo any time soon because this little Bluetooth adapter took my old JVC analog stereo receiver and turned it into a technological music machine! I've been listening to streaming radio through the built-in speakers in my computer, but I wanted bigger, better, louder sound without having to buy external speakers for my computer. I searched around and discovered Bluetooth audio adapters! After looking around at all the adapters available on the market I finally decided on the Esinkin as it seemed to have the best reviews for turning an old analog receiver into a modern Bluetooth receiver. And, lo and behold, it does just that. It was simple to set up and it paired quickly and easily with my mobile device. My dwelling has metal walls and a metal roof which cell phone signals have a hard time getting through. So, with the Esinkin paired to my mobile device I tested the range by walking outside and about 30 feet away. The signal stayed strong through the metal building and so did the music! As previously mentioned, I've been listening to streaming radio through my desktop PC. I wanted to take the Esinkin one step further so I also purchased a Bluetooth USB dongle for my desktop PC. Once the dongle driver was setup on the PC, I plugged in the USB dongle, walked into the other room, pressed the pairing button on the Esinkin, and my PC immediately found it and had no trouble connecting to the Esinkin adapter which is located about 20 feet away, behind a wall, and tucked inside an armoire. Now, I can sit at my computer and control the music while working and keep my cell phone free for other tasks. Like others have noted, it does not have an on/off switch, which would be a nice feature. My power source is not convenient so I unplug the power jack from the Esinkin itself when I want to turn it off.
