Buying a PS4, you know exactly what you need it for and what you'll be using it for. This is a videogame console that additionally plays Region 1 DVDs and Any-Region Blu-ray movies. PS4 games are region-free so nothing to worry there. Primarily the PS4 is a game console but you can use it to watch movies, access Netflix, surf the web and access many other services more properly listed elsewhere. The game that comes with the console is "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" in physical version. 3 great PS3 exclusives remastered for PS4 in a single disc, great value and since it's physical, if you ever wanted to sell it or give it away, you absolutely can. There's another version of this bundle with a DIGITAL CODE for the same games INSTEAD of the physical disc and that code is redeemable only once and it will be forever tied to your account. Some people prefer digital, I prefer physical. The games themselves are Game Of The Year worthy games that were pretty much critically acclaimed on their year of release and have won more than one game of the year award in various gaming publications. You're making no mistake in buying this bundle. The Uncharted games are games anyone can enjoy and this bundle's game contains the campaign of all 3 Uncharted games so far. Uncharted 4 comes out in APRIL 2016 so this game is a great way to catch up. The console arrived in good conditions all the way to Sinaloa, Mexico. All contents were inside as advertised. I payed for AmazonGlobal Expedited Shipping which was about $34 USD (due to weight of the package I guess) with an expected 6 to 9 days shipping but it arrived much earlier! So while I wasn't exactly happy about the price of the shipping...I did want it fast and properly delivered and NOW I feel the price is appropriate for the super fast delivery. I ordered on November 27th (Black Friday) it shipped on the 30th (Cyber Monday) and it arrived in Sinaloa, Mexico on December 2nd 2 P.M. I couldn't be happier with the service. Merely 3 days in transit and it arrived from another country.

This is a great PS4 bundle which is definitely worth the price at $300. Here are some pros and cons in case you are considering purchasing one of these. Pros: ~~~~ -Latest hardware release (CUH-1215A). The power and eject buttons are now mechanical instead of digital. This fixes the dreaded “random disc eject” issue that many older model PS4 users have been experiencing. -Includes a 3-game Uncharted collection (single player mode only), also includes Uncharted 4 beta version -Price is right at $300, best deal since release -Sony recently released their Media Player which can play a variety of sound & video formats (including MKV, AVI, MP3 & AAC), this is a huge plus since it was a big downgrade when PS4 first came out without this feature. You will have to download the media player app from the store Cons: ~~~~ -If you are upgrading from PS3 you're used to free online play, with PS4 you'll have to subscribe to PS Plus ($50 annually) -Comes with only one Dualshock 4 controller, you'll most likely need to purchase another one, good thing Cyber Monday is tomorrow, I plan to pick one up at a discounted price! :) Tip: ~~~ Pick up the following 3 games right away at discounted cost (prices reflect Black Friday deals): -Assassin's Creed Unity - Limited Edition ($10) -Far Cry 4 ($15) -Bloodborne ($25)

Really nice finish on appearance/design. Smaller than the ps3 (at least my PS3 PHAT 60GB model). Definitely lighter. Barely hear it running. Enjoy the new dual shock 4 controller. Haven't had much time to play with it, but am eager to finish Uncharted 3 in HD this time, since my original copy caused my PS3 PHAT to overheat and shut off after 20 min of game play. A testament to Naughty Dog for pushing the system past it potential, utilizing every ounce of processing power, and also a testament to Sony for using crappy lead free solder for its solder joints and BGA's. Shame on you Sony. If you've NEVER played the Uncharted series, and were curious, as well as looking to get a PS4, then you will not be disappointed! If you love crazy adventure movies with funny character banter, and wild creative action scenarios like the Indiana Jones movies, you will fall in love with Nathan Drake and associates.

I can't describe how much fun I am having with this PS4. I didn't even bother playing the Uncharted games since I own all of them on PS3. They are fun games but didn't feel like running through them again. I traded it in for Bloodborne which was a great way to start the PS4 experience. So far every title I have played and has been made for the PS4 (not downloaded PS3 titles) look simply fantastic. It can do almost everything the Xbox One can do and sometimes more. I like a ton of the features built into the Osiris OS, you can put the system in a sleep type state and then resume right where you left off. The load times for graphic intensive games are a minute or 2 at the most. So games that don't implore open world type setting have a load time of almost nil.

So far this has been one of the best console buys I have made yet. Previously, I owned a xbox 360 and a ps2 before that. Having the xbox for so long, I decided I wanted to change things up a little and pick up a PS4 this generation. PROS: *The console runs very well and is quite fast. Performance is not an issue so far. *Plenty of apps to install on the console (twitch, netflix, ect) that all work really well for being on a console. *The controller is easily used on a PC with a simple application that was built for the purpose, no purchasing extra dongles (like with xbox) *The online features seem to be cheaper for the ps4 rather than the Xbox. 50 dollars for Ps4 plus for a year. You also receive free games monthly with that service. CONS: *Uncharted is not really my cup of tea. I bought this bundle mostly because of the price, but I quickly found out that the uncharted series is a little overrated in my opinion. The combat is extremely repetitive and the 'parkour' system is pretty clunky at times. Half the time you end up just falling to your death when you make a jump of faith towards a ledge. Overall, not one of my favorites. To be fair however, I have only played the second uncharted in this three-pack bundle. But if the third game is anything like the second, I don't want anything to do with it personally. *Consider getting the 1TB version, because you have to install all of your games to the hard drive before you are able to play. However, I believe that the Xbone also has a similar required feature. CONCLUSION: Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. Not only am I getting a great game console, but a multimedia environment and a blue-ray player as well. For the $300 black-friday deal, it was well worth it. However, if the prices go back up to 350, go pick up a bundle with one of the other games. (unless you really love uncharted).

PROS: * Matte finish. * Physical power and eject buttons. * Optical audio port. * Runs most games at 1080p. * Great exclusives. * Very quiet. CONS: * Hard drive is laughably small and pretty much requires an immediate update with the size of today’s games. OPINION: * Looks more aesthetically pleasing than any other PS4 model currently available. I bought this because I had a PS4 Pro that broke and when I sent it to Sony for repair they sent me a CUH-72XX as a replacement. Problem with the PS4 Pro 72XX is while it’s quieter than my launch PS4 Pro it suffers from a thing called coil whine where basically when the fan reaches a certain speed under load it makes a horrible whirring noise. I found the noise very obnoxious and decided to sell the console to a friend. While browsing Amazon thinking I would be forced to get a PS4 Slim which I don’t like as I use the optical audio for my headset. I managed to find this bundle new fulfilled by Amazon it cost me more than I should have paid but I won’t knock any stars off the review as a seller has the choice to charge whatever they would like for their product. System arrived new as advertised, the outer box with the artwork was a little scuffed and scraped but the console and its contents are in 100% new perfect working condition. The game is a physical disc still in its shrink wrap and while I usually just download my games 3 free games, is 3 free games so no complaints here. I didn’t know however I was buying a Canadian system as the item was fulfilled by Amazon and shipped from the US not Amazon CA. However the US and Canada use the same blu-ray region so it’ll play any of my blu-ray movies plus games are region free. As well after calling PlayStation support I found out that SIE NA will repair both Canadian and US hardware so I have full use of my manufacture warranty if necessary. As far as losing my PS4 Pro enhancements yeah it’s unfortunate but most games run at 1080p and these days I’m playing most multiplatform games on Xbox One X.

Enough has been written about the hardware and technical capabilities of PS4 that I don't need to delve into detail, but given that Sony has been pulling out all the stops for its latest console with a number of quality games, I was anxious to check it out and snapped up this bundle during the Black Friday sale. The system itself was easy to set up, I like how the Dualshock 4 controller is an improvement over the previous iteration. It feels more comfortable and less bulky in my hands. This was an unexpected plus because the first Dualshock controller for PS1 actually used to give me hand-cramps from more-intense gaming sessions in my younger days. The menu interface is a little different from Sony's XMB on PS3, but I eventually got used to it. In fact, I like it more. Everything transitions so smoothly and seamlessly from apps and games thanks to the system's advanced processing capability. There's a bit of a learning curve compared to PS3, but I was accustomed to it by a day or so. As for Uncharted, I owned the previous three on PS3, but I am not a fan of COD and was disappointed in EA's handling Star Wars: Battlefront with the way so much content was held back (or monetized as DLC), but I love the series so I was okay with double-dipping. I love how much smoother the games run from the remastering, it helps improve the experience especially in the smaller details of the game, such as with aiming. Despite it's reputation though, I never utilized the multiplayer as much as I should have when I owned the games on PS3, so I don't miss it as much. Any negatives? Well, three purchased games later (plus four digital downloads), I'm not so sure a 500 GB hard drive is enough to support this system, as I've already used up about 40% in about a month. Fortunately, I've already planned on investing in a 2TB hard drive, and in my research, it appears as Sony has designed hard drive interchangeability with the system to be easy enough to do. Also, some hardcore gamers may not appreciate the fact Uncharted Collection: Remastered comes without the multiplayer that made it so popular. Quite frankly, it's a value judgment, and with the fourth and final game coming out in April, there should be plenty of multiplayer-action to go around with that entry alone. I'm still learning everything the system has to offer, but if I were to sum up my experience so far, I would say things are - Same but different - Pardon the oxymoron. PS4 has only been around about a couple of years as of this writing, and I'm excited to see what more Sony will have to offer.

Where do I even begin. If you don't have a ps4 right now, you should buy one. You may be thinking that it's pretty cool, but not great enough to lay down 350 dollars on. While it's a lot of money, it's worth it! I'll just say this right now, I haven't bothered playing the Uncharted Collection. I bought this bundle with my girlfriend, intending not to get it to play this game, but because of the overall deal in it. You essentially get a great quality console with a free game attached to it, at no additional charge (compared to buying it new somewhere else). It's a beautiful console. I stopped gaming for a while but I've found myself using this just about every day (for games, Netflix, or plugging in my flash drive to watch movies). I only have one problem with it. If I had the choice, I'd go back to the time when I bought this.. So I could buy another one so my girlfriend and I don't battle it out over who gets to play. By the way, for multiplayer games, I'd definitely recommend getting a Rayman game with this, as it's always fun to have around. And although I haven't played Uncharted, I have heard nothing but great things about it. Even if you don't plan on getting too many games in the near future, at least you'll have one pretty neat game to start out with,

Bloodborne. That's why you buy a PS4. For now anyway. But there's more on the horizon. It's the sales leader for sure, even though the XBox One has the bigger exclusives, and backwards compatibility. Let's just say Microsoft shot themselves in the ass right off the bat, but they've made up for it since. Lucky me, I have both. Both are great machines, and both deserve your attention, but only one has Bloodborne. You buy Xbox to play Halo/Gears and you buy a PS4 to play Bloodborne. Now, if Sony can get a couple of big exclusives this year and the next (here's hoping Uncharted 4 will be incredible), and maybe a sequel to Bloodborne, it's gonna be very interesting indeed. Yeah, I know Miayazaki has said no to Bloodborne 2, but if you remember From Software, they used to be the studio of the never ending Armored Core games. Perhaps, they might just fall back on old habits. In this case, I don't know of a single person who'll complain. This is a beautiful, sleek, powerful machine that may very well end up being the greatest video game system ever made. It just feels right.

I bought one from Amazon and it was dead 15 minutes after turning it on. Something clearly went wrong in transit. Amazon was nice enough to refund me and I got a buddy to repurchase for me. It has been great so far and thanks to the people @Amazon for being so excellent with returns. So far uncharted makes me nauseous, Infamous is awesome as usual and Rachet and Clank, how I missed u guys. Loving my PS4, but I only use it for games and little else. So im not one to ask about media functionality. My only gripe is, when the PS4 is in rest mode (the mode where it downloads updates and games seamlessly in the background) if power fails, it has a high chance of killing or seriously damaging the PS4. There is an option to turn it off completely which is what I use as a result of common power failures in my area, it just isn't the most seamless thing to do and I rather like the convenience of rest mode. I wish they could make rest mode safer to use... for instance, put in a small lithium battery back like in the controllers and when it picks up no AC power, switch to battery and power the whole thing off. For now, if you must use rest mode, a battery backup is the best bet.
