Great lamp, grat customer service

Great solid lamp for the price! I had the same problems as a lot of reviewers getting it to stay steady and not sink down. Instructions are not clear at all. Make sure that the insides of where the joints meet is wood on wood, on the OUTSIDE of the joints - put the plastic washer against the wood then the metal washer and then the plastic nut. Once I figured that out it was great! Revision - After submitting my initial review that the instructions weren't clear, the company emailed me immediately with a detailed instruction manual l which is very clear. I appreciate the extra effort!

Love This Lamp!

I'm using it on my desk where I use my computer. Am using it with an E26 (recommended) RYET LED bulb. Perfect! Easy to put together, and looks very, very nice I have it positioned so that all the light goes onto my keyboard. No light in my eyes. The base is heavy. The lamp is sturdy. For $29.99 you can not beat it!

lovely, bright and great customer service

This lamp was a great buy! We purchased in green and it really adds a finishing touch to our office. The wood accents make a great detail, the cord and lamp head are pleasing. The lamp offers a nice bright light without being a spot light. Not only has the lamp inspired my husband to finally clean up his desk, but the customer service from Tomons was above and beyond. I ordered a second one by accident and they quickly refunded me, and they honored a coupon I could not get to work. No pulling teeth - Tomons rep, Isa, was pleasant, responsive and efficient. This little lamp has definitely brightened our lives!!

Very attractive and gives off good light!

LOVE this lamp! High quality, really smart looking when positioned on your desk and/or next to your computer screen. Was worried that the wood would either be really blonde or cheap. No, it kind of has a honey hue to the finish, nice and sturdy and easy to adjust. My son set it up in about three minutes. It gives off a lot of light. I am using it with the LED bulbs from Amazon, the Ikea E26 LED. Definitely recommend this.

The new model does stand up

UPDATE: customer service reached out to me and offered a replacement. The new lamp works perfectly. They even provided a replacement washer set for the old one. Glad they followed up and helped resolve the issue The lamp would not stand up no matter how hard we tightened the screw

Quality is even better than you'd think.

I was expecting a much cheaper-looking/feeling product, which I was frankly willing to accept given the low price. But I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the materials of this lamp! The ceramic parts have a beautiful semi-matte finish. The base is deceivingly heavy, given its low-profile size, which is great for ensuring the lamp doesn't lift up when you adjust it. I used a decorative, round 40W standard size based bulb to give it add to its beauty. Overall a great addition to my home.

Really great looking, fun desk lamp!

I purchased the black version of the Tomons lamp and it looked even better than expected when I received it! You can tell the build quality is really great. I really enjoy the simplicity of the style and design, and the use of natural wood. Also, as a word of advice, a great looking lamp is only part of the equation. The bulb is equally as important... the first bulb I purchased was way too bright. If you're using this for reading (on real paper) at night like I am, I would recommend a Halogen bulb, rather than LED. Reading is best done in warm light so I would also recommend the bulb "temperature" be 2700k or lower and a bulb with 380 lumens or lower. And of course, as the seller has already noted on their page, this lamp uses an A19 sized bulb, 40W replacement.

GREAT VALUE! Super quality - I'm very happy with this lamp.

I am VERY pleased with the quality of this lamp. It is a real value since the price is so reasonable. I'm using it in my office since I like to keep the overhead fluorescent lights off. It's just enough light for me to work comfortably. Good job Tomons! The item came well packaged in a good protective box. The directions were rather small and there is definitely a learning curve associated with tightening the wing nuts (which are very nice BTW) You do need to expect a bit of sagging until you get the nuts tightened properly.

Amazing

I love this lamp. It feels extremely sturdy, it looks great, and it will last a long time. This lamp sits on my office desk and I use it every time I sit down. I haven't ever regretted buying this. The small and thin base is deciptively heavy, so the lamp will never topple. The arms have a good range in which they can move and be adjusted. 5 stars for such a great product!

I love how the lamp looks - it's go more character ...

Bought this to be used as a desk lamp to light my drafting table while drawing. I love how the lamp looks - it's got more character than most desk lamps, it actually looks like a piece of art. The cord is even attractive. I would buy this again for other desks in the house.
