I love this light!

I purchased this on a whim as soon as the countdown to Black Friday deals went live. I've been looking for something small and portable like this so that I can have a little extra light for my fiberwork (Knitting, crocheting, nalbinding, weaving). And it is perfect! The light output is just what you'd expect from an LED. The lamp itself is functional, stylish and rather elegant with very simple operation. Charge it up with the included micro USB cord and included wall plug or appropriate USB outlet. Turn on the switch and simply touch to activate. Each of the three settings have a noticeably different intensity. The color cycling on the base is a neat little added feature and helpful as a nightlight feature. I wish it came in silver and black, I'd buy one for every room in the house. As it is, I'll likely purchase two or three more.

Great lamp for desks!!

Bought two of them from reviews and description. Arrived in perfect condition. Unfortunately after 3 months of using it and unplugging from time to time, the connection from micro usb to cable stopped working. Contacted Etekcity and replacement sent almost immediately. Best customer service so far! Just need R&D to work on the power cable connection

Update! I previously reviewed this lamp with 0 stars. I would like to state that the seller contacted me and offered to replace both lamps. I received them very quickly and they are working as they should. I am very impressed with the customer service I received. Im so glad to have the replacements formy college kiddos! They are so cute and convienent for small spaces in their dorm rooms. No wires to get tripped up on while using it in the top bunk. Again...so impressed with the customer service I received! Original review...So disappointed! I bought 2 of these thinking they would be the perfect light for some college kiddos. Nope. Stopped working after only a few weeks...both of them! J.U.N.K.

LOVE this light. White light illuminates a table without blinding people. Nice colored light. Charge lasts many hours.

The package contains the light, a charge cord, and the USB wall plug. I really like that it is rechargable. The white light part has three brighnesses. Low is pleasant for just hanging out. Brightest was perfect to light up a table for four to play a card game in a tow trailer where the overhead lights didn't light up the table enough. We set it on the table and it lit up the cards (dominoes, cribbage board) quite well but was short so it was below eye level and thus didn't glare in anyone's eyes. Maybe kids would get blinded. It's small and light and fit between two of us and lit up the table just right. It has a nice broad beam. There are three brightness settings (if you don't cout "off") for this light and the touch switch works well to cycle through dim, bright, brightest, off. It lasted all evening to about midnight and was still bright... which reminds me, I should probably recharge it for this weekend! The color lights in the base are very nice. I use it as a room light while watching spooky movies and sometimes will put it on just for fun. I usually have it rotate through the colors (rather than stay on one, chosen color), which is done at a stately pace rather than quick like a disco strobe. The colors are pleasant and diffused well through the plastic. There are no hot spots of light to ruin the effect. My only complaint has to do with the touch sensitive switch for the colored light. It sometimes doesn't want to recognize that I'm touching it. I must tap and press a few times before it will do what I'm asking. Maybe my skin is dry... or I'm not quite human. Whatever. It's not irritating enough to deduct a star from this great little lamp.

The Best LED Lamp Ever!!

I can not say enough good things about this product. It is fantastic! Great as a reading light, which is why I bought it.Love the fact that it is mobil and doesn't need to be plugged into a cord. I can take it wherever I need light - even camping! And it's great for puzzles. The color changing base is a big hit with the kids and makes a great night light!

Amazing little lamp that changed my diaper woes!

I seriously cannot RAVE enough about this amazing little lamp. I have a newborn so there are many diaper changes especially in the wee hours of night. Lamp arrived in a well packaged box that was within your standard amazon brown box. I was very happy that it came fully assembled no work required for a sleep deprived mom the better. I simply plugged the cord into the outlet and there was light. In the center if you press you'll get a low light, again a medium, and a 3rd for the brightest white LED setting. Now the base can be any color you want which I thought was wonderful. I normally sleep with blue or green because it's relaxing and turn on the white LED when I need it for the diaper changes. This light has been a god-send because my room has no space for big clunky lamps and I was constantly running my tv for light source. Now we are saving power and have this amazing nifty lamp. I really want more but can't quite justify it yet until I move my son to his nursery because well this one is totally mine. Haha. PROS: Comes fully assembled NO batteries! Beautiful night/power outage/versitile/computer table light!

I got this for 2 reasons... My mom needed a small bright desk lamp, and I wanted something that could run in case of an outage. The fact that it is a beautiful little lamp is a plus, that my mom appreciates a LOT! With just the bottom on, it makes a nice night light. It works for a few hours on low on it's rechargeable battery, but if you leave it always plugged in (adapter supplied) it will be an all night, night light. And when doing so, you know that it is always ready to unplug and take it with you to any dark corner, closet, garage, tool shed, etc. when you need it. I bought one for my daughter and she had a back yard barbecue late after dark and the light made more than enough for the cooking and the eating area as well. This light is also more than enough to read by, and it's remarkable bending qualities allow you to place the light exactly where you need it! For blackouts you can't beat the quality and feel of this mighty little light! And coupled with a solar USB charger, it will be a great asset for a bugout bag or a camping trip.

Great Little Lamp!

I recently ordered the Etekcity Living Color LED Table Lamp. First, i have to say that i chose the Etekcity version because they make great products! This is the third item that I've ordered from them in the past month. This lamp has nearly everything that i was looking for. The only downside is the short usb cable. It would be fine for hooking it up directly through your computer. I didn't want to use up my last free usb port. So, i used a longer usb cable that i already had and plugged into the wall outlet instead. This lamp is really cool! One of my favorite things about it, is the color changing base. I personally love to customize things. You can choose from many different colors. Some of these colors include red, green, blue, pink, and yellow. My favorite color is pink, so i immediately chose pink. I really like the fact that its touch control, the lamp also Includes 3 levels of brightness for white LED lamp lighting. Personally, the highest setting has plenty of light for me. I like the fact that you can use the color change base alone, or with the LED lights on. The color changing base is perfect for mood lighting. It looks great on my desk!
