Comedy Cat Door

This is just what we needed to give our cat access to his litter box in the basement. The design is clever and funny. I didn't bother to take the door off the hinges or use a power tool, I just stubbornly cut the hole with a drywall saw. It took about a half hour and a lot of elbow grease, but it worked just fine.

Wish we bought this years ago

Where have you been all my life, Kitty Door? When we moved our two litter boxes to the basement storage room, we had to always make sure to leave the door open so they could access. Since our furnace and all networking is in this room, it's so loud with the door open. Now, with this pass-through, it's blissfully quiet and cats love going through it. Husband and I are not handy whatsoever. I almost hired a handyman to install this but wanted to accomplish one household install on our own, so we borrowed a jigsaw from a neighbor and husband was able to do this in about 20 minutes. Wish we installed this years ago.

Its 10x better than it looks online

Love this, I hate my wife's cat but it made my wife pretty happy that the cat can come into out bedroom at will now and claw the dogs while they sleep. I installed this in just a few minutes, threw some Woodglue on to reinforce it, dried it for a few hours ... boom it's sturdy and gets the job done. I hate that cat but his door is pretty cool.

This is adorable, and my cats have no problem using it

This is adorable, and my cats have no problem using it. I was a bit concerned that my older cats might not like it, but they didn't need any coaxing to use it. I was also concerned that my two larger cats, a Maine Coon, and a Norwegian Forest Cat, might be too big to fit through it, but the boys are having no trouble with it at all. It matches the molding on the door frame perfectly, and it's looks great. I have a closet that I use to keep the litter boxes in, and this lets me keep the door closed while still providing access for the cats. It's purrfect! :)

Our Dog Hates This! ...But Our Cat Loves It!

We love this! This is probably the coolest pet door ever designed! Installation is pretty straight forward. When tracing the paper template outline that you will cut, stay true to the outline. The actual front/back piece is wide enough to forgive your cut lines but you don't want to take too much advantage of that. Overall this was easy to install and it will bring a smile to everyones face after its on! Our cat started to use instantly and he will sometimes lay just inside the door and watch people pass him.

Super cute!!

Kind of pricey for a plastic insert, but worth it in my opinion. We bought 2 so we could have a head and a tail on both sides! The cats are happy & it keeps the dogs out of the cat room! I am very satisfied with how it turned out.

Cat tested owner approved!

This thing is super cool. We got it for a basement door where the cat box and food are stored. we had a kids gate with a pet door there prior but the whole look was not that desired. We saw this and thought what the hell lets give it a try. The product came super quick, amazing that two round pieces of composite molding can make that much of a statement. The job was super easy as I have a jig saw. Thank you to all the people that mentioned the template was to big. I took everyone's advice and used the opening as a template. worked great. Cat loves it, cuts down on the "cat smell" everyone happy!

Super Cute and functional!

OMG, this thing is tooooo cute! Oh and it works! My cats have their own room and we always have to keep the door opened so they can go in and out. I don't like that I have to keep it open when I have visitors as they have to walk by their room on the way to the bathroom. My open door problem is now solved! It is of very good quality. Instructions are easy to follow and I took other reviewers advice and did not use the included pattern. My husband used the kitty pass door as his guide to cut the door. After installing it was time to put it to the test. My cats were so used to the door being opened that they cried at the door before going through it the very first time. I lead one cat through the door and then just decided to go in the room and shake their bowl to feed them and they came through it without a problem. That's all it took. Now I don't have to have their door opened at all times. It looks so cute and everyone who comes over to visit just loves it!! Also, I have three cats of different sizes. One small cat, one average size and one fat cat! They all fit through the door without any problems.

Dear diary, the authorities finally fixed the door

Dear diary, The authorities don't understand that I can only get to my cat box if the door is open. I have tried to get them to understand this by lecturing them loudly in the middle of the night ("The door is closed!!!"). Finally the authorities came up with a solution. They put this door into the door. Shakespearen in a way, a door within a door. They are finally learning... Sincerely, Whiskers (aka Killer)
