Efficient Charcoal Starters

These puppies are easy to place and light promptly. Some brands don't do that. Surprised me. I had the ones that came with my BGE and they were fine. I ran out and bought some others at a local market that were MUCH less expensive....not worth a dink. So I tried these and I like them a lot and they are reasonable priced!

Good value and Fit for purpose

Use these to light charcoal in a Kamado Joe. They are a bit dodgy to light compared to other starting blocks but they do the job and I’ve got no complaints. Good value.

Works as intended, and works well

These charcoal starters work very well. I find they light faster if you rough up the corners before taking a flame to it. Flames lasts long enough to really get the coals going. Will continue buying this product for the foreseeable future.

Easy to use, lights quickly, no mess..

Very happy with these fire starters so far. I use them in my Big Green Egg, and had always used the BGE starters in the past. Decided to give these a try instead as more came in an order and the cost was a bit cheaper. No problems with them. They work just as well and I will continue to buy them in the future. Thanks!

I recently ordered these to use with my new chimney starter. I have to say I'm impressed. They light quickly, even in the wind. They stay burning long enough to fire up every briquette.

Fantastic. I only just now discovered these after being a backyard BBQer these past couple years. This makes lighting the chimney so much easier. If you use charcoal and use a chimney to heat the coals this will be the best purchase you make.

Way better than Green Egg starters

These cubes are da bomb..literally. They flame up fast and make a nice burn to stoke your coals. These are 10 times better than Green Egg starters and cheaper. Cut one in half with your garden pruners and place on opposite sides of your egg for a fast even start. Great starters!

This is one of those, why the heck haven't ...

This is one of those, why the heck haven't I been using this before, products. Such an improvement over my previous method of dumping lighter fluid over coals and then waiting for that fuel to burn off. I combined this with Fogo FHWC35LB 35-Pound All Natural Premium Hardwood Lump Charcoal Bag, will never go back!

These are definitely worth the money. Until I discovered these, light BBQ fires were a pain in the butt. Now, I just load up the chimney with some wood charcoal and one of these, and in no time we're cooking. They're a lot easier to work with than wadded up newspaper.

Very good starter cubes. Light faster and catch easier than the Kamado Joe branded ones I initially bought. Will buy these from now on.
