Best tank for the money

I purchased this as breeding tank for my Betta fish and fry tank. This tank is great price for the money. It is plastic so be careful when adding gravel somyou do not scratch the tank. Tank is 6.5 gallons but looks like 10 gallon. If you use for baby fry or brine shrimp then ditch the filter / pump and purchase a foam filter that will not suck up the little fishies. Only gripes are the many different color lights.... most people are only going to use the white light and the top needs to be pushed down to fit. Plastic bends so the water in tank causes tank to expand and the lid does not fit exactly so you have to push lid down which is better than lid being too loose. Overall a great tank for Beginners, kids, breeding, quarantine and fish fry.

Awesome company

I’ve had this about a year and the light went out. I read other reviews on here and saw an email address to contact the company. I emailed them and they mailed me a new light for free and it works perfect! Thank you SO VERY MUCH! It’s hard to find companies who go above and beyond these days! And I just LOVE this aquarium in my room with the color changing lights. My fish actually look happy again! Yay!

BEST.tank.EVER

I have 4 ADF frogs and 1 female betta living in this tank and they love it! By far my favorite that I have ever owned. I love the filter as well.

Glad I bought this one!

Great aquarium! I like the shape and it is a good size for my betta (5 gallons up to 10 are best for them--just FYI). The filter is much quieter than my previous aquarium and I'm so glad they have a space that can be cut out for the cord of a heater to come up through. The lid opens easily and acts as if it's hinged so you don't have to take it all the way off when you need to open it. I wish the opening for the food wasn't directly in front of the filter but that's my only complaint. I'm also enjoying the different light settings--nice to be able to change up the look with different colors. Affordable, good size, nice design and looks good!

Perfect size.

This is one very nice tank. Lid fits snug. Love the cutouts. Not crazy bout the filter. Have added a divider, 1/3 & 2/3. Have my Betta in the 1/3 and my community fish in the 2/3. Using the filter that came with in the 1/3 and another filter in the 2/3. Also added a light dimmer. The Hood makes it so nice to get to everything. Great aquarium.

Good customer service, great cheap betta tank!

Tank came cracked but the company sent me a new one within one day, completely hasle free and no charge. This is absolutely beautiful and good for the price. It’s plastic which can be annoying but it’s exactly what I was looking for when upgrading my betta from a 3 gallon to something a little bigger. He seems really happy with the space and I really like the LED lights that came with it. The filter is very quiet almost too quiet to where I didn’t know if it was even on; and the flow is calm enough that my betta doesn’t mind swimming in that current. Oh and my snail is happy too! Tank is roughly the size of one 12 pound fluffy mutt.

NO ISSUES SO FAR! 1 week, happy fish

I'm giving 5 stars because I got what I paid for. I see bad reviews but mine had none of the problems. Filter is quiet. Tank holds fish fine. It came with the initial products I needed to stabilize the water. I guess it depends on how much you pay for it. It's totally worth the $40 I paid. I've had the tank for a week and I put platty fish in the day I got it. I put the "Day 1" ingredients (that came with it) into the water/tank and then put my fish with as much as their existing water as I could reuse in the tank (that was half full with tap water).

So far so great! I think this tank is absolutely wonderful for a plastic tank, it is not acrylic so it will not be as sturdy. I honestly think for the amount I payed it is so worth it! To anyone who wants any information about the tank you can buy filters on amazon as well for this tank. You can even subscribe to them to receive them when you need them. Overall it is a very nice tank and I think it is worth the money. The LED lights are meant to be plugged into an outlet, which was a huge bonus for me knowing that my last tank made by another company was battery powered. The filter is very quiet and seems to work well so far. A note about how many fish should be best for this tank: no more than 6-7 fish if each fish are approximately an inch long. This tank is 6.5 gallons. An inch of fish per gallon is what I’ve heard almost everywhere. I have 5 fish in this tank, two glofish danios and three glofish tetras. I want to get more in the future maybe one or two. These fish love the space and seem very content. I love this tank so far, I may do a review in a few months after cleaning the tank and seeing how the filtration system holds up.

Great fishy home

Just right for a table top. When decorated and fish added it's so pretty. Came with starter fluids and good directions with 2 wk and 4 wk. additives. Hood light is a little dim during the day but looks great at night.
