Have to say I wasn't expecting much for 13 bucks, but this guitar stand is much heavier duty than it looks. The push button lock works perfect, the guitar fits perfect, and everything is padded well. Nothing bad to say about it. Excellent stand.

Bought 2 of these and very happy with the product. Very easy to use, stable and can hold acoustic as well as electro guitar. The stand is heavy enough to insure that that the guitar doesn't shake or move. Definitely recommend.

This works as intended and is a good deal. I bought 2, one for an electric guitar and one for a bass. They work fine and I will eventually get more. They do not tip over easily and you would have to bump into it pretty hard to knock it over or the guitar out of it. A stand with a holding arm would fall over as well with a similar bump. The foam-ish rubber-ish padding works fine and has not not marked my guitars. It also grips the guitar some. The stand folds easily but will not do so accidentally. I would definitely recommend this, especially for the price.

I've bought three of these now, two for the church I attend and one for myself. Not only in the price right, but honestly, there are very few more expensive guitar/bass/mandolin stands that I would rather buy. Per that last sentence, I use this stand for bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and mandolin. I've had problems with finding a good stand that will fit my mandolin AND a bass guitar but this certainly does it do to its adjustable width. Also, the folding mechanism for these stands is sturdy and convenient. I was a little sceptical of if these stands would be robust enough to be thrown around a bit as my church tears down and sets up every week. That means these stands get thrown in a storage bin every week. If you are a traveling or local musician who needs to bring your own guitar stand, I would also recommend this stand for that application. I'm in a cover band myself, and I would use this stand in a heartbeat for that.

I really do have to agree with all the other 5 star reviews. This stand is very stable . The other thing that sets it apart is having the ability to change its geometry. By closing it a notch or 2 you can accommodate different shaped guitars. By placing your guitar in the 2 different notches you can custom fit PRETTY MUCH ANY GUITAR. It helps to hold a guitar stable because of its hefty weight and large surface areas both cradle and back support.I use one as an amp stand for my bedroom practice amp a Vox DA5. I have used and adjusted this to fit 335,tele, and strat guitars without any issues. Open it up all the way for larger diameter guitars and close it a notch or 2 for smaller or uneven (jag shape guitar's),use the different cradle notches to get the most stable fit for that particular guitar. I've bought more expensive light weight more portable stands but none of them are as versatile or stable as this one.

I bought one of these to simply try; the price was low as were my expectations. I was wrong! The stand is adaptable, easy to transport, and fits my basses well with zero adjustments - unfold into position and load 'em up. Based on the trial purchase, I ordered a second via Prime. The stand arrived in two days without damage. I put it to use and took a picture of my Lakland Hollowbody and 1976 Rickenbacker 4001. Both are held securely. I love these stands and price!

I got the AmazonBasics Folding Stand as something I could pull out of my closet in my office or other rooms where I want to play guitar, but may not have a guitar permanently on display all the time. I found this to be very sturdily constructed, especially given the price. It collapses down to an object that probably is only about 12-18" high, 12" wide, and a few inches thick, so you can slide it in between something in a closet. The best feature is that the base can be adjusted to three different widths, and each seem to correspond to different styles of body (acoustic, electric, short-scale/youth electric). There is a foam pad on the center post that the guitar leans back on, and it seemed pretty stable overall. You'd really have to work to make the thing tip over, and seems unlikely the guitar would slide off the back, either. Exactly what I was looking for.

I'm more happy with this purchase than anything I've bought recently. It's just great. It's simple, sturdy, well-built, and it holds my dreadnought guitar perfectly. No room for improvement that I can find in this product.

Great, inexpensive option for getting your kid's cello off the floor. Included some pics to show a 3/4 size cello sitting pretty -- and no longer on the carpet! I believe it would also work for a 4/4, since the bottom support still has a bit of room for "expansion". Due to the foam pad which resides on the inside of the back support, the cello sits in the stand fairly secure, with no wiggling unless forced. Of course, because of the height involved, it's probably safest to sit it in a corner just in case.

Outstanding simple and easy way to safely hold your Boosted longboard vertically for storage and/or charging. Yeah, I know it's not a guitar, but it really works well. Thank you to folks on the Boosted subreddit who suggested using this product.
