Recently bought my FJ used; lower mileage, but not great paint; interior was OK once I'd cleaned it up well. Within a few weeks, the footrest came loose; when I looked in the footwell, some previous owner had obviously tried to glue it back. Be careful, and don't wait too long before replacing, as there are 2 studs that point up from the floor to accept the "white clips" on the bottom of the new footrest, and I had already trampled one, and slightly bent it, but it bent back without breaking. The new footrest slid right on (it needs a firm press, and you'll hear a "ratcheting" sound as the white clips "bite" onto the threaded/grooved studs. Check a few sites to confirm the exact part number for your VIN; I had originally tried to order from some online Toyota parts place, but they told me I'd added the wrong part number to my cart, when they verified my VIN. They suggested this part number, and lo and behold, it was available on AMZN for less :) Yay!

I broke the one on my 4runner when I needed to remove the kick panel at one point. Ordered this as a replacement. It is the OEM part, arrived with a Toyota sticker and part number label on the bag. Install took literally 5 seconds. Just slip it over the mounting studs, then push down. It ratchets down into place on the studs. Then just jump in the vehicle and carefully stomp it down into it's fully seated position.

This fits 4th generation (2002-2009) 4runners. Direct OEM replacement for your floppy footrest. Aftermarket alarm installer broke the original, this just popped right back into place.

Direct replacement for my broken one. The weak points are the posts that hold it in place. Hint: the white plastic nuts that hold the old one in are one way pop ons; they screw off. That'll save you a bunch of time and bruised knuckles.

Easy install for my 2007 toyota FJ, just make sure you screw the white inserts on and leave the tabs correctly placed so footrest lines up and will easily snap in. The part fit perfectly and installed correctly first time.

True to specs. Exactly the same as the original hopefully this one won't break as quick as the original did. It's a known issue that these tend to break on all FJ Cruisers. As small as it maybe it is a little annoying.

Was easy to install. Fit perfectly! Appears to be well made and is solid after installation. I would suggest using the new mounting hardware just to make sure it is all snug and secure.

What can I say, it is an exact replacement for the OEM part. Comes with new clips and all. Perfect.

Improved design better than the original one that was fitted in the car. The improvement resloved the old design problem which weak supports. 👍🏻

Exact factory match. I'd put a little dirt on it so it will match the carpet.
