Although Serif has advanced to a new platform..this X9 version of their excellent desktop publishing program does every thing you might need...from flyers and brochures...to handbills and posters....magazine articles..to PDF files. You simply cant go wrong with this good old companion.

I'm not a professional editor or publisher, but I edit and publish the newsletter for a small non-profit. I don't need (nor can I afford) most professional software or software subscriptions. I chose PagePlus X9 because it was reasonably priced, and found it easy to master. (The tutorials are very well done!) I'm able to include hyperlinks and embedded content (video and audio clips) in an online version of the newsletter, then print multi-page paper copies that look exactly like the online version without having to reformat.

Does great things for my web design work like making cool text exported as jpgs etc. Nice addition to my tools for web graphics.

I've used earlier versions of PagePlus for years to publish newsletters and magazines. You get high-end, very professional results for a very reasonable price. And while it offers many options, the program is fairly easy to master. Free tutorial videos are available. Unfortunately Serif (the software's publisher) is ending the line. Grab this while you can.

I have been a long time user and fan of Serif's Pageplus. The price was just too good to pass up for this upgraded version. After installing it and a brief test run, it delivered on everything that I love the software for and then some. It was nice that it's interface remained familiar and I didn't have to lose my previous version of the software, by allowing side by side installation on my pc. I had absolutely no problem with loading and editing any projects that I had created with the older version. Through the years I have used a number of expensive professional desktop publishing software, but always seem to find myself drawn to the simplicity and no nonsense interface of Serif's Pageplus time and time again for many of my printing needs. It's continuing longtime support for the ability to import and export to pdf is a definite plus, especially when out-sourcing my print jobs online or uploading to a usb thumb drive in format compatible with the needs of local printing services. Too bad that this version (x9) of PagePlus is the last of the legacy compatible version of Serif's Desktop Publishing software.

Used to using MS Publisher but it self destructed. PagePlus X9 is so much better. A definite learning curve, but tutorials and User Guide downloads are helping to crack the code. Tutorials are wonderful!

This software is the best desktop software I have used so far. It has all the features I need and more, there are no glitches and the price is very reasonable.

I've been using Page Plus for years, and this time purchased two--one for home and one for work. I am sorry this is the last of this series, because I have really enjoyed the product.

I bought Serif Page Plus 5 and have upgraded at each opportunity. I am currently using PagePlus X9. I had been using Microsoft Publisher but the price kept going up. Today the prices are comparable. I purchased Serif because it has more features than Publisher. I can bring photos into a document and am able to do more extensive corrections without having to go to another program or affect the original jpg. I have been able to make small format books printing both on front and back having the pages sequentially numbered and printed in duplex. I use templates that I devised for a couple newsletters that I do. I bring in text from Word and can print ebooks in either the mobi or ebook format. I can add an index also. I am able to do all of the things that I did in Publisher and more. Is there a learning curve? Yes. With every different developer of software, it is necessary to learn anew. I have Adobe Elements for the same time period and have not been able to learn as much or as quickly as I have with Serif. I figure out things as I go and that is fine with me. I've worked with Microsoft Word for years and still can't make it do what I wanted. So I bought Serif and love them both. Also, I've seen several comparisons to what Indesign can do versus Serif. That is an unfair comparison. Currently (end of 2016) to get an Indesign subscription, you must pay $29.99 a month ($360 a year) and continue paying as long as you use the product. PagePlus is a bit over $100 right now and it's a one time purchase. These two programs are made for a very different users.

A decent amount of useful templates to get some personal and business things done with. The calendar templates are outdated. I mostly bought it for the invoice, pdf, epub, and general purpose typing.
