Works. Happy for a cheap solution to old car radios.
Was happy with this - it worked exactly as described and was cheap. One consideration. If your headphone jack isn't at the bottom of your device you'll be looking at the display upside down. Also, sadly, for my original purposes it didn't work only because the old tuner radio tends to lose the station when it goes over bumps - LOL. Ultimately there just isn't any solution except for me to replace that radio. I paired this with an older cell phone, sans case so I didn't have any issues with it not fitting, that I could load up with downloaded music . l will use this instead in another vehicle that has a digital tuner. In that car you can't plug in the tunes and charge without causing static so again, a convenient solution. So versatile, great price point if your phone/device still has a headphone jack and you have older cars.

Audio quality, transmitter distance.
This is an amazing little but powerful FM transmitter coming from my Samsung Galaxy Android Cell Phone. The audio quality is beyond exceptional as well as the distance from transmitter to receiver. I have been using this device with my phone transmitting to my car stereo, but a little while ago I was enjoying my music on my back porch stereo when I had the desire to see how my stereo system on the other side side of the house received the signal. I was amazed at the clarity and volume was not distorted whatsoever, This little unit is a must buy for all music, sports enthusists. Just order two more for my other devices. Once again... it is a MUST BUY.!

Very Convenient
01/15/2019 When I got this, it didn't have the best reviews. With my experience, it has worked perfectly fine. I should note that if this doesn't work on your radio, try other radios before assuming it doesn't work. This transmitter has to be close range to work. Some cars (like the Honda Passport) you can sit in the backseat and it will work perfectly. Some cars (like the Crysler Sebring) it won't work no matter where you position it. Some cars (like the Chevy C1500) it has to be right next to the radio. Ultimately, I believe this transmitter works fine if you have the right kind of radio. If your curious, it has a rechargeable battery, you charge it with a micro usb.

Lasts forever!
I drive for Uber, Lyft, and Fasten. Have been using this for over 2 and a half years driving with them and it's still going strong! There's a small battery in it that lasts up to a couple hours, but I hardly use it with that. My configuration is that it's always powered, but if I have to give someone the wire to charge their droid device, it runs plenty long enough. You may notice a static or hiss when you plug power into your phone if the power source going to your phone is going to the same circuit as the power source for this. It's not a device problem, it's essentially a wiring problem. I find myself occasionally unplugging the power to this device or my phone to get the hiss to go away depending on the type of music being played.

Indestructible
I can’t remember when I bought this, but it’s been a trooper! I use this FM transmitter CONSTANTLY in my older car. I had once forgotten it in my lap when I arrived home having intentions to charge it once I got inside. I dropped this thing in a mud puddle and never once realized it was gone until I went to plug it into my phone one day. I spent a month looking for it until one day I looked down next to my car and saw the corner of it sticking out. Not only did it still work, I didn’t have to charge it! I’ve only charged this maybe three times since I bought it. This little thing will be in my arsenal for a while to come.

and I am getting a perfect signal. Caution
This little transmitter puts out a broadcast quality signal at such a low power that you don't need a license. The instructions say that its 300mAh lithium ion battery will last for up to 10 hours of transmitting, with an effective range of 15 feet. 15 feet is about maximum for the transmitter alone, but when you plug in the supplied power cord, the cord becomes part of the antenna and the signal becomes stronger, even without plugging the other end into anything. I am using it to transmit my Spotify music from my computer to my half-century-old sound system 30 feet away in another room. The receiver has a folded dipole antenna strung across a window, not pointed in the right direction for the transmitter, and I am getting a perfect signal. Caution: Always turn the receiver on first and listen to make sure the frequency is clear before you turn on the transmitter. It would be illegal to cause interference to a licensed station even with such a low powered signal. If you are traveling with it away from home, check frequently to make sure the frequency is still clear, and change frequency if it is not. The transmitter has an LED which lights to show when the battery is charging, and you can charge while it is transmitting. Any device with a USB port can charge it, or you can get a charger that plugs into a car's cigarette lighter from any convenience store. Any nearby conductive object will become part of the antenna system, especially if it is longer than about 2 feet, including your body, your dog, your computer. power cords, cables, curtain rods, metal window frames, appliances, plumbing, etc. Moving any of these objects will change the way the signal gets from the transmitter to the receiver, making the signal stronger in some directions and weaker in others. Anything else you could do to make the signal stronger, such as building an amplifier for it, would be illegal. Well worth the money imho.

Great Little Transmitter
This little transmitter has been working great for me. I love that I can charge it up next to my phone overnight and just throw it in my pocket on the way out the door to be used in the car. The controls are quite easy as well since there are only two buttons and a power switch. I plan on buying a second one for my not-so-tech-savvy mother.

MUST BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
I've gone through several of there "Wireless FM Transmitters" and none of them ever work well. They're either complicated to use, don't actually work with your phone, or never transmit frequency well so all you get is static. I found this item and was concerned because it was priced very low so the quality of it was questionable for me. I've had this for almost a year now and I absolutely LOVE it. It works amazing, it transmits a strong, clear signal so I can hear everything clearly through the radio, the battery life holds for forever and you can use it and charge it at the same time if it does die on you, and it doesn't take up a cigarette liter port so that I can keep my charger plugged in for my phone. It's such a great product that I've now bought 4 and my whole family uses it! MUST BUY!!

Screw the FCC, this thing has boosted range/signal.
I bought this for work because I hated having to constantly pause/unplug/or bluetooth sync every time I changed trucks or buildings. I also need over the ear noise reducing headphones, which they don't really even make. Then I found this cure all, I even had fm headphones. The range on this thing is better IMO than most 12V plug in FM transmitter. The FCC lettering looks fake and not like the normal certificate, leads me to think they're boosting signal more than FCC allows. I just leave the ignitions on as I'm working in a shed and anywhere I go is streaming. I would say the range is 30+ feet and and can overpower pretty strong stations. It's so nice to hear my phone ring while running a chainsaw or equipment. All those who complain about it not fitting their phone case have a choice to make...but complaining isn't one of them. Every case and phone shape is different. If it was long to clear your case then it wouldn't be flush for those without and break. Or get a dremel tool as I did and flatten your case... Only had it a few days but battery is a day+ of use. 18 month warranty, don't know how impossible they are to deal with but it's cheap to replace.
