For years I was using one of the little corckscrews that you take out of the sheath, turn by hand, and then yank out of the bottle, but after using this I'm not going back. My upper body strength game is weak, and there's nothing quite as frustrating as trying to get wine (or in my case it was especially tasty beer) out of a bottle and being thwarted by a stubborn cork. Never again! This item seems to be made well and makes sure I get my bottled joy asap. Love it.

This was an easy buy for me. I wanted to get a new corkscrew because the one i bought recently broke after 2 uses. I knew getting a wing corkscrew was the way to go. But Target sold one for $18.99.... way over priced. I came upon HQY's reasonable price and said SOLD. If you are a prime member, this is a no brainer... complete you kitchen with a proper corkscrew. There is nothing worse than having a great bottle you can't open due to defective openers.

Great wine opener!

So easy to use. Uncorks that bottle in seconds! I don't know why I ever thought I only needed a simple corkscrew, especially since they rarely worked well for me (think broken cork with pieces in the bottle).

FAVORITE BOTTLE OPENER

I love this. I was struggling with wine bottle opening and had to actually take one bottle to a neighbor for help. NO MORE! This works so well and is so easy to use and I am now the proud owner of three because I keep misplacing them!!! I had one years ago and it was sturdier, but this one is working fine, soooooo why worry!

No Frills, Works Great

This is actually my second purchase of this corkscrew, as the first one "went missing". This is your basic winged corkscrew, but it works great. The price is right and it does the job.

Great product!

We have had an old fashioned can opener/wine corkscrew for years, but when our neighbors started borrowing it a short time ago, I purchased one of these wine openers for them as a gift. They, and we, liked it so much, I ordered a 2nd one for our home. It works great and made opening corked bottles so much easier than our old multi-use tool.

Well made

Arrived just as describes. I can't attest yet as to it's durability but it seems well made. I got this opener because it is so easy to use and I dont have to struggle to open a wine bottle. The price was right!

Easy to use

I recently purchased this corkscrew to replace one that had broken. I find it light weight and easy to use. It is actually a bit smaller than my old one but works very well. I would recommend this product.
