If I could give it 10 stars, I would! I've only had it for a few weeks, but WOW, what a difference from other nozzles I've had the misfortune of using. This thing lets out Not . One. Drop of water that you don't dispense by using your thumb on the exceptionally smooth control. It is solid, very nice looking, and an exceptional value. Do not hesitate to buy this. It is the real deal.

The Melnor was my favorite, even though it leaked at the hose connection

I have purchased several nozzles over the last couple years. This ikris replaces another ordered on Amazon (Garden Hose Nozzle : Brass Water Sprayer For Easier Watering with Simple Twist On/ Off Water Control for Arthritis or Tired Hands). I also have a Melnor hand held nozzle from 3 or so years ago. The Melnor was my favorite, even though it leaked at the hose connection. So far the ikris has a strong seal at the hose. Easy dial to choose type of spray. Even easier lever-like apparatus to turn the nozzle on, increase or decrease intensity, and turn it off. If the ikris continues to perform well for the next month or two, I will replace my Melnor nozzle with this one. I like the ease of use.

Not a strain on old hands - simple to use

My hands are arthritic; not only are they often painful, they tire easily. So YEAH for this nozzle! All it takes is a push of the thumb (or the base of my hand) and I've got a steady flow of water for a variety of tasks. To turn it off, a pull of the thumb (or the side of my hand) and it's completely off; no dribbling. Compared to other nozzles I've used in the past, the control dial on this one is very easy to turn to the preferred setting (angle, shower, whatever). It is BIG, but I like it this way. I don't have to curl my fingers tightly just to hang onto it. Despite its size, it's not overly heavy, and it's comfortable to hold. The front loop is large enough for two digits to fit into it, so keeping it stable is so easy. (YMMV depending on the size of your fingers, of course). Note: most other nozzles have a setting called "Jet", yet on this model, that very same stream of water is labeled "Rinse". So if that feature on your purchase is a deal-breaker? It is indeed available, just differently named. "Why" is a never-to-be-solved puzzle. I've used this nozzle nearly every day for about six weeks now, and I'm so pleased with it that I'm here to buy a second one for the hose out front. Highly recommend this product.

Perfect for my needs

Just finished cleaning the lanai using your spray nozzle. Easy to hold for long periods. The rotating on/off slide is easy to use. The pressure was a great improvement over any nozzle I have used in the past.

AUTHENTIC REAL REVIEW!!! I haven't been paid to write this personal review on the 10-Pattern Metal Garden Hose Nozzle by ikris. I feel that reviews are very helpful so I want to share my experience with this product! Shame on those who write fake positive reviews so people will buy your crappy product. ANYWAYS!!!!!! I wish I had this nozzle sooner! ZERO leaking, very comfortable to hold and use. No more squeezing! I love the thumb trigger that gives me easy control of how much pressure I want to use. I've had this for a few months in South Florida with daily rain and high temperatures and I keep my hose and nozzle out in the elements ready to use and there isn't any deterioration of the grip or paint. You'll love using this nozzle! I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

This is the BEST nozzle I have ever used!!

I spent a lot of time researching before I purchased this nozzle.I am a Master Gardener and have massive gardens that require watering so it is important that I have a nozzle that is adjustable, comfortable and built to last. When I pulled this from the box it felt very heavy and being an older lady of short stature, I was concerned that it would be too heavy for me. Not so! It is very ergonomically balanced - yippie!! This fit all of my criteria. So much so that I am awaiting the delivery of my 3rd ikris nozzel

Hard working, Built to last. Great value.

Amazing!!! I have to replace my nozzles a few times a year. This is heavy duty and well made and expect it to last far beyond one year and is the same price range as the disposable nozzles. I haven't used one quite like it in the past and I really love how easy it is to turn the dial and the unit fits well and is easy to handle and it is it's ergonomic. The rinse pattern is extremely powerful and I don't have good water pressure but had no problem washing the siding.

Update to my review

I'm very happy with this nozzle. I wanted to replace a couple of wand-style garden nozzles, with a zillion patterns I never used that leaked like crazy even when replacing the rings. What I really want is a nozzle that could give me a long jet spray since I have extensive gardens and sometimes dragging a hose is not fun. Its very well built, and the turn of the nozzle is solid. I was surprised it was metal. First use I was completely satisfied, from my deck I can water nearly all my perennials, it has the necessary shower and flood features and a very good mist. I bought another one for the front yard, I think the *rinse* will be extremely good for washing car rims. Update two years later... I bought three and two have broken at the base, its not a "replace the washer" issue, the handle separated completely where the hose screws in, there is no fixing this.

Washing cars and watering plants

This is made for a garden except for the rinse which is a tiny powerful spray. The only thing it is missing is full flow if you want to get a lot of water in an area. It is ergonomic and easy to use. For washing a car or watering plants it is excellent. I purchased this mainly for my wife to use watering plants and for us to wash the cars and I am very pleased. No leaks and it is very well made. The seller sent an email and replied which was very nice.

This is the nozzle you need!

In search of a good quality nozzle? This is the one for you! I've only had it a few days but I've used the heck out of it already. Super fine mist: great for new seedlings, shower mode is awesome for general garden watering, rinse is your jet feature and is is a strong direct spray! I used this feature to wash off my brick walkways that were covered in mossy funk. It was almost as good as using a pressure washer. I've played with some of the other settings and all were good but I figured these, to me anyway, were the most critical. The nozzle is sturdy and solid but not cumbersome by any means. The handle grip is comfortable and the velocity dial makes it super easy to get exactly the right amount of water for the job. This is the third nozzle I've purchased this year. The other two leaked from the head or the hose attachment area. This nozzle does not leak a drop! The other two nozzles are in the garbage waiting for their ride to the county dump! I will be purchasing another ikris nozzle very soon for another hose.
