Bright light

MUCH brighter than I expected. It illuminates the ground around my 25' flag pole quite well. If this lasts a few years will be an excellent purchase. In response to one reviewer who had a failure due to leakage around the solar collector - I have filled in the joint between the collectors and the top housing with silicone sealant - water will collect in that seam without filling it in.

I really like this product

I really like this product. It is a simple and easy installation and provides enough light to illuminate the flag and remains lit during the longer winter nights. Only word of note is to ensure you turn it on before you raise the mast... like the instructions clearly state... or if you are like me and skip the directions you will raise the mast and then lower it again to turn it on when it doesn't work. :)

Still going strong after a year in the harsh sun and crazy weather of South Florida.

I've had this for about a year now and that's why I waited so long to write a review because I wanted to see how well it would withstand the Florida weather. I'm happy to report that after a year it's still just as bright as the day I installed it on my flagpole and although the top where the solar panels are is no longer clear, it's actually a milky color now, it doesn't seem to have had any adverse affect on its performance. I haven't even had to replace the batteries that came with it. All in all, I'm pleased with this unit and would definitely have no problem recommending it to others.

Blizzard Proof Pole Light

The first 3rd generation American Flag night light I bought last month impressed me quite a lot with an ample volume of light to show my red, white and blue still at dawn. I think this pole top solar light is better than most all others, as it survived three days of 60 mph winds and blizzard(without flag) and no sun and still made light on the ground. I didn't expect that. I just received my second Sunnytech Solar Flagpole Light for another pole and my Arizona State Flag. Yes it costs more than other similar lights, however it will survive some super awful weather and I expect for several years. A well made product and seems to be a very good company. Shipped fast and secure through Amazon.

Good Flag Light

Great. I love it. It works flawlessly and lights the flag at night. Couldn't be better. I think it is plenty bright, it's not like the sun but it does indeed light the flag at night. I live outside of town, so I can't say how it would compare with the lights in a busy town or city, but for me it works great. It's my second one and I will buy another when this one dies. The last one lasted for a good 3 years - or more, I don't remember exactly when I bought the other one.

Excellent Product and Worth Every Penny!

This is an excellent and easy way to light your flag! We have purchased several of these for ourself and for gifts. It puts out a great deal of light and still performs like new after even after 3 bitter winters and scorching summers. When we first discovered these type of lights we tried a different brand and it didn’t compare to the Sunny Tech. Just purchased the 3rd generation only because we liked the dark color as opposed to the gray color. This 3rd generation puts out even more light than our original and stays lit till morning. Excellent product and worth every penny,

Ocean pole Light

I installed this light on top of a 35 foot flagpole that my friends and I secured to a shipwreck 300 yards off the shore of Vero Beach Florida, we have been doing this for years to commemorate a friend of ours who died who love the ocean and the Fourth of July etc. every year we seem to try to up ourselves so far this light has worked perfectly although it's not that visible from that far away we know it is lighting up the ocean as well as the other solar lights we have attached to it time will tell how long it lasts but so far so good,will update...🇺🇸

Super product! Came on just after dusk

Super product! Came on just after dusk, super bright, and fully lit our 4x6 foot flag atop a 20 foot pole. Fit perfectly on the Valley Forge flagpole with gold ball topper. Photos attached to see the transition from dusk to night.

Great Buy.

Well the first night it was on it took longer then my other lights on the ground to kick on.But it worked and it looks nice.Gives out a lot of light.I will do a update in a few months. Almost two months old and still looking good.Really happy with the light.Will update in a few months. Update:Still working like the first day.Love it. Today is 2/19/2017-Still works like the first day. UPDATE:4/9/18-It starting to cloud up and not staying on all night.Will try and clean the lens.I don't know if the len's are made out of glass now?Would buy again if there were.
