Great little Straps

I bought these to help secure some cords for wired lavalier microphones that I have been using to make videos for my YouTube channel. The work great for this task. They aren't too big, so there isn't an excess of strap left over to try and wrap around and around. These straps are big enough to use for extension cords but not too big for smaller tasks. I have found them to be well suited for other tasks as well. They are great for keeping charging cords for phones and tablets from becoming a tangled mess. I like to buy long power cords for my phones so that it is easier to keep them powered up while I am using them in bed. These straps make keeping them orderly when I don't need all the length. They also work well for organizing smaller sections of para cord cut off longer spools, or left over from other projects. I have also found hook and loops to be extremely strong. When able to wrap the cord over even half an inch, no matter how hard you pull against it, the straps hold strong. I would not hesitate to suggest these straps to friends and family, buy with confidence.

Great reusable fastening cables!

I am very happy with these reusable fastening cables. I have been able to sort and secure all my charging cords so it looks much neater. Before all my charging cords were a mess of cords and I never knew which cord charged the different devices. It is now all organized and it looks SO much better! They all came in a rather small block. They are easy to separate and use as needed. I will suggest these cable ties to others! I also think that they will work on organizing items other then just charging cords. These are a few other ways I have thought to use these ties: securing several Q-tips, holding small eye glass cleaning wipes, holding make-up compacts, holding toothbrushes when you travel etc....I know I will think of other ways to use these cables! I really like them!

Hey Reader, Mother needs some cable ties......

I ordered these for my mother when she said she needed cable ties. So I dove into the endless array of cable ties. Some were plastic, some were velcro and some were like these. I wasn't too sure on how they would be received so I got both just in case. I must say these cable ties are the bees knees! They are nicely colored and the I got the 50 pack. Well I gifted these to Mom who has proceeded to put them all over the house, which means I may end up getting one more pack. These are quality cable ties and they aren't too difficult for elderly people to use. Slide one end through the loop on the other and secure it to your cord. Very nice product and reasonably priced too.

Replaces Plastic Zip-Ties in Home

When you need to manage cables, plastic zip-ties are the traditional go to. However, they have the drawback of being difficult to cut, they can damage cables, and they're not designed to be reused. While I would definitely not recommend "reusable fastening cable ties" for hot, wet, or pet [bird] environments, they're perfect for managing audio, video, and household extension cables. I should point out that I've found passing the end through the loop unnecessary unless I'm stringing multiple cable ties together. If you're just securing your power tool's cable, just wrap the "reusable fastening cable tie" around itself; don't pass it through the loop.

Works great!!!

I these work great. I use them for charging cables, headphones, etc. I was concerned they might be too long, or wide, but they're working fine. If I find they are too much, I can trim the shorter and they'll still work. I also use them for more bulky hair tools' cords. I love that they securely stay attached to the cord, when not in use, and even tho it is made out of Velcro-like material, the strap is not rough or scratchy on either side. They are really very nice

Good basic versatile cable ties!

Don't know what can be said about 50 velcro fastening cable ties. Doesn't the name say it all? Black? Check!; Proper length? Check!; Durable? Check!; Good velcro fasteners? Check!. They work great for the intended purpose; so 5 stars! However, would not advise using them to tie a damsel to railroad tracks. Too short! But, can be used as a tourniquet for small children, cats, or fish. My comments for children and cats have been field tested. However, my fish was more slippery and elusive than my son and Fluffy.

Changed my life.

These things are awesome. I used to be an unorganized middle aged slob with an unhappy marriage and miserable kids. Now I'm a millionaire living life large. Also, my cables are managed like a boss. (Okay, maybe only the last bit is real.)

Great fasteners. I was a little hesitant because of all of the reviews saying these fall apart. Look, it's a hook and loop design with the two layers glued together. Be mindful of that when you handle them, and they won't come apart easily. Of course they will come apart eventually. I've had one out of my pack of 100 do so thus far. But so what? These were $.10 each... Think about that. If they break apart, use another. If you run out, order more. They are much cheaper than the alternative, and I like the design much better than the alternative. Use these for cable management in the sound business. They are great.

Great cable management for those who have a lot of cables and want to be fiscally responsible

These things are great. Not as sexy as the 3m versions with the narrow tip but these things are just about as low profile and are well worth their money as they appear to be just as durable. I went through and cabled up all my intrukent cables as well as loose cables in my cable box and still had about 15 left to spare. Everything is now neatly organized and I can rummage through my cable box quickly with out making everything tangled or disorganized. Wish i would have invested in these sooner. I would say the only downside is if you have really long cables like 100ft plus or the cable material is ultra thick like premium monoprice hdmi cables you might want to get version that is a little longer because depending on how you wrap them they might have a tough time reaching. That being said i had items as described and probably only a quarter of an inch or slightly less touched the other side and it was a strong enough hold to keep the cables securely wrapped up.

Just as good, if not better than the more expensive ones...

I needed to tidy up some wires under my desk. I purchased these because I didn't want to spend a fortune and these were the ones I chose. I used them to secure the wires under and they hold up very well. Velcro is usually pretty good but this stuff is next level. It's almost like glue but easily taken apart with a little effort. I would recommend these to anyone as they are great quality and are not expensive at all. Well worth it and would not hesitate to purchase again.
