Great replacement for original

After the cat chewed through my OEM cord, I replaced it with this one and haven't noticed a difference. Works perfectly, and now I hide it in an ottoman where the cat hasn't figured out how to get at it... Yet.

Doesn't charge

The charger arrived with no issue. But it is not charging Wii U gamepad at all. This was bought to replace the original nintendo charger that had short. The original still charges better than this. Sadly, I bought this based on verified reviews. Update: Seller saw the initial 1 star review & reached out. They promptly sent replacement that arrived in a few short days. The replacement seems to be charging the game pad.

Did what it says.. The cord is a little shorter than the original.. It works fine, I check it regularly to see if it is generating any heat, and it is cool to the touch.. Can't always trust some of these cords.. This one seems ok.

Worked Great for Wii U Pad

Purchased this for my kids when the original charger for their Wii U control pad suddenly stopped working. From what I'm seeing, that seems to be a very common problem. This product arrived and is exactly as described. It charged the Wii U pad with no problems whatsoever. My kids have played the device with it plugged in and we've had no problems with overheating or anything like that. To be honest, I do unplug this at night purely as a precaution after reading reviews of problems with various other aftermarket accessories (not necessarily this one in particular).

My kitten chewed our other Wii U GamePad charger which I've heard is a very common thing. I was nervous about buying this cheaper version especially with some of the reviews, but I haven't had any problems at all. It chargers fine, and we have a new entertainment center to protect it from kitty's teeth.

Works perfectly to replace the one my 8 year old ...

Works perfectly to replace the one my 8 year old broke. He's the destroyer of all things that charge so of course, his Wii U charger stopped working. This one works exactly as should and charges just as well as the original one.

Worked perfectly. Cheap alternative to the name brand unit. Shipped quick and seems to be working just fine. Been a week now and charging the game pad without issue. Solid connection, solidly built.

I so scared to buy this one because of the reviews but then I was so relieved I did! It work not overheating..... i love it I'm so grateful for this because i would have drove 2 hours outta my way to get this at overpriced 30 bucks
